Please do not be deceived check the subject content and see if the merged subject complies with the beliefs of both religion and if any has been edited to suit certain narratives then it be withdrawn immediately. We need to know if the wordings comply to the scriptures. As it was rightly pointed out, that in the merged subject it is being taught that the Koran was the last Holy Book and Mohammed(pbuh) is the last prophet. That Jesus is not a son of God but a prophet and he did not die on the cross but was substituted. All these are fine, if you restrict these nonsense to the IRK class, as we have no beef with it. But do not bring in the Koran teachings to a general theme subject at all as these offends the Christian. The NE re-construction Bill. 2. Petroleum Community Clause in the PIB which is sure to guarantee them some form of money from oil exploration. Guess what? These two items are being paid for by SS/SE where majority of the crude oil resides. If that is not SMART politicking, I do not know what qualifies for one. QueenOfNepal:The question is, why should it HAPPEN ANY WHERE in Nigeria at all? The reason being that our constitution recognize the secularity of Nigeria. What was the motive behind the removal of CRK as an option to Islamic studies? Who and why, wickedly accepted the curriculum without a religious balance? The surreptitious method to introduce Islamic studies to all, including Christian student should be withdrawn and those behind the curriculum and those who approved the same be investigated for their promoters and sacked immediately. Secondly, a quick revert to the status quo ante, where Christians can select CRK and Muslims can IRK should be reinstated except there is an insidious motive behind it. Buhari is said to be rather unaware of his environment, his memory somewhat affected. For instance, on his way to the UK, he was said to have asked if he was on his way to Sokoto. Although i do not like him and I did not vote for him, I do not like to see a man undergo so much pain. His family especially his wife should have unfettered access to him, as having people around always help in these type of cases. Secondly, Nigeria should not treat the cabal case lightly this time. They should be imprisoned and forfeit everything they have to serve as deterrent to those who pander their ways. Buhari do get well soon, so you can really see who your true enemies are. |
