tuniski:The key thing you mentioned that I agree with is "the political class" That political class was fully behind Buhari against Jonathan...the left behind in PDP at the time were not major power brokers. The difference now is that, that political class is not fully behind Atiku neither are they fully behind Buhari. The one with the Ace of State is Buhari. The one with the Ace of surprise if he can swing majority of that political class is Atiku. In the end, Atiku needs to swing the west in order to get lots of votes...the longterm vision of the west might not allow Atiku to be able to sway the west. Again, you seem not to be in touch with grassroots politics, those issues you mentioned have never galvanised Nigerians to go n vote. The real voting public vote based on personalities, parties, religion, tribal resemblance and money. Of all these factors, money is where Atiku might try but if the political class behind buhari remain loyal, money become's a shared competency of both. Again, the political class behind Atiku, how loyal are they going to be in the following weeks? If what I perceive is correct, then APC wants to give Atiku' generals problems of their own to face so they cannot face the war. Force them to focus on their battles n loose sight of the war. Besides,Oshiomole is a key factor I see also,I saw he's hand in Ekiti. That's a testbed for what will happen in 2019. But like you say....2019 is going to be Interesting, in the end Nigerians will be the better for it as we edge towards political awareness n new innovative ways to get involved. |
@tuniski Your premise of hiding behind data is wrong...y: 1. It is not compared to current data prevalent 2. It doesn't account for new variables as compared to 2015 3. You r not thinking pattern and you deliberately blind ursef to 2 constants: -Buhari is incumbent -Buhari''s support might have waned down unlike 2015 but still has almost the same cult illetrate following plus 65% of the galvanising genearly of 2015 in his corner. If you xterise this testbed of loss to pdp as a battle and not war...do you assume that APC will not consolidate on these enemy territories they have taken? Did you think APC''s strategy is not to carve out sizable enemy territories in order for them to look weak? What is the pulse right now? It is dt pdp generals including the field marshal -Atiku are loosing territory in their own domain. You are here insinuating that while they r loosing ground at HOR levels they r carving out sizable portions for governorship n presidential. Question: who will galvanise the pple to vote during governorship n presidential? Is it not their elected reps? Elected reps with federal security might backing! All that is even by the side. Have you seen the distribution of the registered voters list? Do you see how it is distributed? This voters register gives APC the legitimate votes it needs rigged or not. Except Atiku takes some Buhari genearly in the coming weeks to his side...he will loose money and a lot of it. He needs a better strategy team....online warriors n few capitalists won't swing votes in a socio-capitalist country like Nigeria |

most commentators here talk like average educated people.......you all keep shouting simple research- simple research......well simple research without bias will let you know that: 1. CMI cannot remove it from its millenium unsolved problem list until after two years of verification 2. You couldn't find it on November 17th becos it wasn't published and released until Dec 1st 3. and as academics that you claim yourselves to be, shouldn't you wait till you get your hands on the presented paper before you make claims? I honestly think media has not helped the guy, sensationalism is everywhere- i think the news should been more informative on the fact that: a. a nigerian has claimed a slution b. it is to be reviewed by peers for n amount of time c. CMI will take some years to verify before considering reward d. hes claim will be released at n date simple.....no long stories and sadistic, 'pull hi down' nigeiran syndrome |
Dude i agree with you 100% on a lighter note do you actually talk like this or you only write like this?- i like it though, its fresh OnReflection: |
@TonyeBarcanista yes you might be right with your assertions but as you have rightly said,, saraki and all public office holders with skeletons in their closets should answer for their crimes. I would like to also say, when a PDP led government comes into power either at state or FG levels, they should witch hunt APC people with skeletons in their closets also- its the beauty of democracy and partisan politics. fallout of a successful and conclusive saraki trial What i see happening in their nearest future after a successful conclusion of this case would be a brazen corruption suit attack on all other politicians who do not fall in line with the new APC but here's the question: is this good for our democracy or is this good for the masses i ask these because, if as a politician, you are not corrupt, a corruption charge attempt at witch hunting you wouldn't stick on you so even if the cry that buhari is hypocritical with hes corruption onslaught, democracy na turn by turn, when there's a new turn, let the new actors chase the unchased of the last turn but the bottom-line is we are chasing actual corrupt public office holders who have raped us the Nigerian people. Another fallout is the way law works, the judgement that will be given on this case will eventualy come and bite some actors now in 2019 polls- still the beauty of democracy and rule of law Also i keep thinking- if saraki is conclusively dealt with, it will improve our corruption rating internationally and would give the Buhari govt more muscle and gusto to chase some medium to small fry both in APC and other parties hinwazaka: |
@onReflection You seem like a highly intelligent person (irrespective of your tribe) - i assume you have some reservations with the bolded in my comments? Also, i think it would do well to have come up with a highly unbiased and detailed description of how what the @op asserts is untrue (with factual academic links) for us learners to consume. @others i think high IQ should be displayed in how well your IQ creates solutions for your immediate environment, on a patriotic level= how it helps to advance your nation. @ the user who says the Yorubas have not dominated the wealth space, here's an analytics of the past and present for you to digest https://businessdayonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/wealthy-nig-chart.jpg which shows dominance spread. But all in all, its evident that the yorubas and igbos are educationally advantaged, lets help the northern parts to become so too, that way, their narcissistic tendencies will be reduced and Nigeria can become the doyen of the Black race.
|
I truly believe their nothing wrong with an individual highlighting the supremacy of hes/her tribe....... This is one of the reasons i like @areonakakanfo and @totit they respond with counter facts and disputes frivolous facts In as much as i agree with @onReflections premise i believe as other ethnic tribes in Nigeria and West Africa we should the ndi Igbo props; as a tribe they have risen from annihilation to compete at the peak. as a Yoruba person i respect them for that and it shows they are a force to be reckoned with; they rival the Yoruba race in almost all spheres which is a great feat to pull off. I believe sometime in the future when we are rid of our illiterate leaders both groups will be able to work together to navigate the greatness of the Black man in the world. As young people, lets cultivate the habit of competitive rivalries that can uplift our tribes and thus improve and stimulate the black race as a whole and the onus is on us to show the Northern regions the light of education, build their people and also learn their strengths Even though the blog and excerpts used by the OP doesn't relate to the title used; I still salute the NdiIgbo greatly for high IQ as displayed in all facets of life. |
i think you might need to get your information straight cos at the last time i checked- though MTN Nigeria is not listed with the NSE, it sells private placements in Nigeria and i hear Nigeria shareholders have about 25% stake in the company (as at 2013) and it should have risen beyond that...... landinfo: |
Mr. I am pressed to give you a reply as you have ignorantly stuck to a position which should not make sense to you as you write before you post. - Honorary Degree - Blacklisted University - Bestowed -Forged? ![]() Please tell me you see how your argument does not hold water? I would believe, if a university is blacklisted, it is either all degrees awarded previously by that institution will be rendered void or an agreement reached on how to validate those degrees. What constitutes forgery, would have been if the said Fowler paid or dubiously arranged a Doctorate degree for himself without following due-educational process. The due-educational process for awarding a doctorate degree was explained above somewhere-please make use of that explanation and review your comments on this matter. As for this SH matter they have done their duty to report news, they should have gone ahead to analyse the news also but really, their primary objective is to report news, every other thing is secondary. I am amazed at how some older members on this section reacted to this news- it doesnt make any sense! ronald4lif: |
Tribe impostors i would assume based on the info supplied by a user that the OP is claiming a tribe he doesnt belong to to perpetuate a particular view which is evil and violent i have assumed this becos i havent seen any reply from the OP to refute the accusation with the glare of facts brought forward. As a YORUBA Person i would like to say, i'am dissappointed with the person behind the moniker of the OP bringing disgrace to the tribe, and not just that, but it shows the kind of evil mind and anarchist mindset he/she posses. I implore all persons doing this dangerous act to desist as it would only continue to fuel bitter hate posts which derail informative views of the Nigerian people. @Laudate: in as much as what you are trying to say is true, the OP discredited his/her thread by claiming what he/she is not by extension taking away the credible motive that would have been-this thread. Probably my circle of people i know is delusional and not with the 'reality of Biafra (armed or un-armed) struggle' as displayed on NL or the reality of the struggle is not as profound as displayed on NL in real life. BIAFRA- INCOHERENT I think there are so many factions with different views on what is BIAFRA and how it is going to be actualized, hence the incoherent nature of the discourse on NL; i think this might be the answer to people who constantly ask- why is it that when BIAFRA is mentioned, it causes some form of reaction (positive and negative)? BIAFRA is synonymous with CIVIL WAR, DEATH, HUNGER, a time in Nigeria's history that wasn't pleasant, a time of bloodshed, a time 3million innocent people died, a time of a people's struggle for self-actualization, a time where both divides used social mediums to incite its people to war against each other, a time of political decisions that caused the death of people never seen before in Africa at the time, a past we have yet to recover from and a past we have not resolved. Believe it or not, these and many more are the synonyms of BIAFRA; now imagine decades later, this same BIAFRA suddenly has a voice on a platform that is accessible by everyone, a medium open to descendants of people who have different views on this sordid history. RWANDA is synonymous with: a radio station that broadcast-ed hate, a radio station that incited millions to their death, made children soldiers, CIVIL WAR, DEATH, HUNGER, TRIBAL Cleansing, a time of bloodshed, millions of innocent dead people, a country coming to terms with such a history, a country rebuilding and a country trying to change her image. today we watch hotel Rwanda as a factual movie representation of the gory tribal war/ethnic cleansing that took place and thus say no to such (atleast thats the popular rhetoric) Now this is the information age, we have access to all these information and this makes most people form opinions and more opinions of how not let such acts happen anymore et al. Now enter, Radio BIAFRA, i have not personally listened to it, i tried to look for it online to listen to but i guess i wasn't that interested besyds most of my SE SS friends seem less bothered than iam-so no ginger to press for searching and listening but i can form an opinion based on different people's inferences, comments and perspectives on Radio BIAFRA. Here's is my synonym list i have started building for Radio BIAFRA: a station speaking about the struggles of eastern Nigeria, a station speaking the truth about the oppression of a race of Nigerians in Nigeria, a station amplifying the ideals of BIAFRA for people to be aware of whats going on, a station inciting subtle-tribal ethnic cleansing, a radio station inciting the oppressed eastern people against other Nigerians, etc. i cant think of more now as iam still building the list- (you can add yours to it as you see fit). THOUGHTS Do you see any similarities between all the synonyms i listed up there? If we assume all those synonyms are true and we do not want a repeat of these things- WHAT IS RADIO BIAFRA DOING DIFFERENTLY BIAFRA is a reality whether we like it or not but what is different in the approach towards its struggles? MINORITIES OF NIGER DELTA the synonyms above are realities of how the minorities of Nigerians in the Niger Delta see BIAFRA (as a lot of Nigerians), another reality is that, the SE Igbo is not a minority! it is part of the recognized major tribes in NIgeria and i see how this is glaring to the minorities in the Niger Delta. This area is a complicated portion of Nigeria- most times i refer to them as the real Nigerians becos of the mix of all different tribes within that region, virtually every ethnic group is represented in this region. Conclusion I think the BIAFRA project needs a rebranding in its approach towards its emancipation, not in its true reasons for a call for secession but in how its going about it. Resistance would continue in as much as the present position is maintained where Nigerians do not understand the road map and how it wants to achieve its goal. if it wants a referendum, how is it going about it? If it wants armed revolution like most people infer from comments on NL, how is it going it? The synonyms above are not the rants of the Yoruba section of the Nigerian contraption but a major rant of peoples that cuts accross the Nigerian state contraption. we all agree on something- The Nigerian state needs a re-structuring. |
wow @tonychristopher i liked this piece alot, ofcos you will nitice from my moniker that iam Yoruba but i love the piece and would like to contribute my thoughts to it. i especially like it becos i have always wondered why on NL theres alot of anomosity between the Yorubas and Igbos. I have always believed the two tribes were economically compatible until i resumed NL to see that its not so. SUMMARY OF YOUR POST in one swoop, i would like to think what you explained in detail here is that AWO [the yoruba] did an ITALIAN JOB/OCEAN 14 type of heist that raped Nigeria economically and ofcos the Igbo just out of a war (civil war) felt it more, this was hatched and executed by AWO who was a Pro- Western regionalist at the time to economically empower the western region people, he raped the British inclusive who wrecked colonialism on us and as most Biafran proponents would say-created this zoo contraption we call Nigeria. This is the source of Yoruba economic dominance in summary My contribution First of, i think your assertions (since you started by saying "story goes" are wrong about the Igbo's domination of wealth in Nigeria at the time before the war- i dont have my Time subscription i could have sent you a link to the Time report of Wealthiest Africans at the time (i wont gloat here but facts show that there were sw's in the list) Here's a publication that details the story: http://businessdayonline.com/2014/03/wealthy-nigerians/#.VcyCkbKqqko [img][/img] theres also a chart they drew up to represent the wealthy ones in 1965 and 2014 (a comparison of sort). You would see the list in comparison has not really changed except for the North and SS entrants into the list- What do you make of this? Please note that iam by no means trying to incite any form of tribal supremacy- just representing facts (i would be happy if you have better references as i am more than ever before interested in the Nigerian dynamics) Here's the thing, i think you need to try and understand the situation and tempraments at that time you refer to in your post, if roles were switched what do you think Ojukwu or whoever the SE leader was- would have done? These regionalists who were all fighting for their regions and people. what you tern as a heist is the same thing that has happened in the western worlds and the resultant effects of wars (civil wars and world wars alike). The INDIGENIZATION Policy you see as an evil, some economists see as the launching of the Nigerian economy - if you would be truthful and factual, if not for our greedy elites and leaders (who cuts accross all the major tribes and regions in Nigeria) its a policy all great economies adopt- ofcos it came at a time the SE bore the brunt more- its war and sentiments are not the preserve of leaders during and after war check out this book in ur free time (THE NIGERIAN INDIGENIZATION POLICY: NATIONALISM OR PRAGMATISM? Afr Aff (Lond) (1983) 82 (327): 241-266). the question i keep asking is how come the claim that SW's 'heisted' all these foreign companies through the nationalization policy- what happened to the Northerners, Mid-westerners (assuming that SE ddnt have anything to bargain with)? Besides you also know this was a country out of a civil war and regionalism was still entrenched (hell even till now regionalism the bane of the restructuirng the SNC is supposed to address) SW's took advantage of the policy and bought what they could buy- same happened in the soviet union, the USA also do it in-directly; besides what did you think would happen, companies shares being sold in the SW would at that time give preference to SW's (even now, in Lagos unknown t most pple who make noise on Nl, the Lagos govt unofficially sell lands based on tribe even amongst Yorubas- i rem some situation some years back where i cldnt get some choice areas becos i was from IKD and not central Lagos- thats between us Yorubas oh in this century, so imagine what would have happened at that time and i dare say- it was the same accross the country not just Lagos and SW) Besides, on the surface Awolowo was not reported as the architect of the policy http://www.nai.uu.se/ecas-4/panels/61-80/panel-68/Chibuike-U-Uche-Full-paper.pdf These guys were credited with being the architects - Allison Ayida (Finance), Phillip Asiodu (Mines and Power) and Ime Ebong (Economic Development) I dont think you can blame AWo (if your conspiracy theory is true) of self preservation of wealth for he's people its the hallmark of good leaders (leadership is not a holy position) 'to be a good leader you must be like the fox and the lion'-Niccolo Machiavelli. Somehow i think this history should guide the way this generation thread business lines in Nigeria but you will agree with me that it hasnt really. You know, i wouldnt call it a deliberate thing by some conspiracy but an insensitive oversight by Nigeria who did not consider the SE economical pockets during the nationalization. Dont have so much time......but i like this side of the history and i even like your call of conspiracy cos i cant control perception of things, hence the freedom of thought and speech we all have. But i salute the Igbo spirit to rise and become a force in the present day Nigeria, irrespective of our political and economic positions- i give kudo to the people[b] which is why i try as much as possible to learn their language. i wish above all else that there is a new type of Nigerian youth who takes and use the mistakes of our history to correct, pacify and develop the country to a better clime [b]our leaders (who are from SE SW SS NW NC NE) are the ones taking us for a ride, they are the evils we should collectively and systematically channel our rage towards tonychristopher:

oga!!! you are loosing money oh stop peddling this thrash on Nollywood- nobody can lay claim to Nollywood (not even the SW) use other metrics for arguements and dont drag Nollywood into it abeg...read the below and stop equating Nollwood with the starting point of 'ritual killing' based Nigerian English movies set in SE with mixed characters from accross Nigeria. ikechu1278:Source: The History of Nollywood The Nigerian movie industry (Home video Industry) a.k.a Nollywood has been typically accepted to have started-- immediately following the success of Ken Nebue’s “Living in bondage”. From then on, its expansion and attendant complications are known (by fascinated parties). However , events preceding 1992, are not popular even although a few have tried to trace the history of Nollywood. Here is an abridged edition (yet richly enlightening) from one of several articles i published concerning this topic matter. Film exhibition began to thrive for the duration of the Colonial era, with Glover Memorial Hall playing host to a array of unforgettable films viewed by “potential Nigerians”, in August 1903. However, the non-availability of proper data reflecting the title of the debut movie exhibited has created a lapse in the precedent stock. Notwithstanding the lacuna, the way have been paved for that exhibition of additional foreign films at the Hall at identical time as other designated venues. The emotionally traumatizing “Master – Servant” relationship, apparent in the constant assaults, batteries, intimidation, segregation, victimization, carried out while using Colonial masters on the colonized, with darkened clouds of resentment, vengeance, thirst for freedom, offering option to splattering drops of such thoughts, instinctively projected consequently of the colonized intermittent in-subordinate actions, began to distribute one of many blacks. The British realized they had to thread with caution when they even now desired to take part in “god” inside their lives when films just like Tales of Manhattan, Trailer horn, Tarzan series began to stir up a revolution in the hearts of Blacks around the globe. Aware of the lethal energy of insurgency which could be unleashed consequently of the movie medium, the British out of fearfulness for his or her lives and achievable the loss of the Queen’s sovereignty took the bull while using horn, and swiftly created a Colonial movie Censors Board (FCB) in 1933 to censor and classify films just before they were released for visual consumption while using public. Following the establishment of the board, Films just like “The primitive, primitive man, Dixie, Buffalo Bill, The Keys of the Kingdom, Sleepy village Girl were tagged ‘suitable’ to be watched , while Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Clive of India, The Isle of Forgotten Sins, home of Frankenstein were considered as unsuitable for viewing . The Censor’s amount underwent a transformation process into the Federal Board of movie Censors (FBFC) from your aforementioned, along while using laws from which the changed amount derived its powers ranged from your 1948 Cinematograph Laws of Nigeria, the Cinematograph Laws of 1963, towards 1963/64 Cinematograph regulation and Regulations. The existing National movie and Video Censors Board came into existence by virtue of decree, now Act 85 of 1993. The advent of Nigeria’s Independence (1960) along while using Republican status (1963), heralded the dawn of a new era in all sectors. “The Yoruba Travelling Theatre Group” of the 60′s and 70′s can be proven to given that the “Fountain Head” of movie productions in Nigeria. The veterans with excellent Theatrical skills and excellent performances took their works outside of the stage, and dove into the sea of movie productions making utilization of the Celluloid format. Notable movie makers on the Roll phone of Honour for the duration of the Celluloid boom era of the 70′s include Ola Balogun, Eddie Ugbomah, late Herbert Ogunde, Adeyemi Afolayan a.k.a Ade adore (father of Kunle Afolayan of the Irapada fame), Ladi Ladebo, Moses Adejumo, Adebayo Salami and Afolabi Adesanya. The list of documented films created for the duration of the 70′s era and transcending somewhat into the 80′s is simply astonishing and goes to demonstrate that the Movie Industry has been near to much longer, contrary towards ‘1992 perception syndrome’ most are already injected with . Such works include Kongi Harvest (1971), Alpha (1972), Bull Frog in the sunlight (1974), Amadi (1975), Ajani Ogun (1975), Muzik Man (1976), Bisi, Daughter of the River (1977), Ija Ominira (1978), Aiye (1979), Kadara (1980), Jaiyesimi (1980) Efunsetan Aniwura (1981), Cry independence (1981),Ija Orogun (1982) Owo L’Agba (1982 The cost of creating films in that era was financially back breaking, with Nigerians much more aggravating the efforts of the filmmakers by opting to measure out films of occidental and oriental origin at the Cinemas and Exhibition centres, rather versus the locally created ones. The Cowboy films were exhilarating to measure out while the Chinese films paraded among others, the Legendary “Bruce Lee” in (Lo Wei’s, The enormous superior (1971), Fist of Fury (1972), means of the Dragon (1972), key in the Dragon (1973), The video game of passing away released in 1978) who exhibited fighting techniques dexterity, clearly a fighting technique alien, yet fascinating to us at that time. ikechu1278:uncle!!! stop ranting incoherently Nollywood is a collection of all movies and its productions in Nigeria- hence the term Nollywood the appellations you just gave are sub-portions of Nollywood...... the igbo speaking movie industry had refused to consolidate on its productions and append a name it its industry for so long even African Magic couldn't create a channel for it untill recently. The initial setup of Nollywood was a movement of Nigerian movie production comprising of Nigerians of diiferent tribes...most of the movies had actors from different tribes in Nigeria. Production and distribution were done through iweka road and ebinpejo lane in parallel. Untill we can get a factual statistics of which churns out more movies amongst both........stop ascribing Nollywood as an igbo contraption.......... besides whats mentioned above......your arguements with Totit and others have been really informative to all to be petty- i think the totit character is ahead some few points.....please gives us some more fights ...believe it or not theres money bets on these debates.....and money is on u too.... |
I think we expect too much from Barcanista forgetting he's a simple human being prone to mistakes and also partisan too but notwithstanding he has built a reputation of a high standard and following that much becomes expected of him when he writes on issues, hes insensitivity in that thread to the Ogoni issue was uncalled for and trigger-happy. I believe he should have started out like this post quoted below.............. Mynd44: |
NDPVF:wow..........the lows and highs......... that you even think 100M is little is crazy (no matter how rich you are) to go further to say 2.5B is chicken feed is either you are poor, an irresponsible spoilt child of a Northern Billionaire or just plain poor (again). If the 'Chief' is as rich as you claim him to be, he'll be disappointed in you sir. "not everything that goeson the mind,is printable!" |
@OP Loosing credibility isn't done in one swoop, in as much as a lot of non-partisan people like your posts and respect your opposition stance (as it gives 'the other side' and puts the ruling party on her toes), this your outburst thread today against people commending the president's direction and plan of action towards the Ogoni plight is irresponsible and gives off an insensitive air. This singular information alone to the Ogoni people has done a lot and brought back a lot of hope and faith because information is power. Constructive opposition criticism would suggest you either not comment on this piece of news from PMB (pray and wait till something is not done) or comment but let the opposition know that they have taken a good step but you are waiting and watching on the side to see they bring these plan into action (because in the end that's what we all want). That way your credible and un-bias opposition toga remains intact and not childish or hungry for attention. |
Yes the analysis is true the missing bit of it; who will bankroll, sponsor and market the new PDP aspirants as it is; the power house the party use to enjoy has faded and a new power house has emerged within the APC. Without a power house, PDP needs credible and popular candidates for 2019. But, hey- it still early days with the PMB govt, we go continue to watch GOD bless Nigeria barcanista: |
obailala:you are right on the money............don't always agree with all he says but you can definately appreciate the intelligent efforts he puts into hes write-ups. |
sarris:young man, ddint you just read the press release from NLNG? |
@OP after getting to the final page (11) i still agree your post is on point as 'the other side view" still think you might wanna review the "indisputable Success" thing there's a strong opinion that believes because Ministers have not been appointed that direction ad controls dont exist within the ministries: its not so; there's a structure of Ps's, Directors etc who run the ministries when theres's a minister or not @Forum and Thread MODS Please talk to your technical teams to provide self-service threads that would allow users create threads and pick a list of users that can comment on the thread while the rest can view, this is possible and doesnt exist on other forums. It will increase forum debates like @passingshot is calling for and also remove the numerous weeds of insult trying to overshadow good un-biased points of free people- just a workable thought. Give your tech heads the framework, iam confident they can churn it out. |
Hian...... i see something i call sinister and its prevalent in a lot of counter repertoire - is it until contracts are awarded that things need to change? i guess i need to be schooled ![]() i believe a strong head with the right mental balance can cure 50% of its ailing body illness before the doctor can cure the rest caused by an inactive brain and will to stay healthy |
@OP I think you are spot on with your write up as an education tool to such "doings", i think the bashing is UN-called for as i have not really seen any responsible counter to the OP's assertions (still on page 3 as at this reply). at OP i think probably you might wanna change the "Indisputable Success" to words that shows the present administration is working and on its way to success. if you are partisan and want to be really vindictive and petty, the best way to have gone about it is to compare the last administration's first 100 days with this administration's 1st 100 days- that way you have a solid premise and also show that you have put lots of thought into being petty But as an informational piece, your write up is good and shows us the other side............... My opinion, its too early to grade the administration with a 'pass' or 'fail' rubric.......... |
@Triville i like your probing questions and you made many valid points........................disregard some of the sly "enter the tribal" comments but i go all the way with @Barcanista suggestions but added to he's suggestion would be to culture the approach of the chinese and take the realities of our individual politicians into account and build institutions that have direct oversight on how the state's 25% , the producing community's 25% and FG's 50% is spent. Also, i keep wondering like you in another direction, why are the agitator of Biafra not dogged on the getting the govt to amend the constitution to include referendum in it- i believe if this is achieved it would be an educated attempt to put Nigeria on the right part...... cc: Triville; Barcanista Dearpreye enjoyed una dooged way at not letting the thread derail |
