seunmsg: There is no single sense in your comment. You see, people get away with corruption so easily in Nigeria because folks like you are always quick to make it about politics, ethnicity and religion.
If a minister of the federal government that was cleared by the National Assembly made up of all tribes, religion and political party has done something wrong, we single out the person and and ensure the full weight of the law is brought upon the person. She will get away with this fraud if we make it about politics or ethnicity or religion so stop the nonsense you’re trying to do.
Betty is not the only person complicit in this. The Accountant General who by the way is a Yoruba lady must also face the music because she knows better. I’m not like you folks who play politics with corruption.
Shifting attention away from the minister to the accountant general gives you some inner peace
Like a thief saying I am not the only thief...
Even lying by saying your Betty is ignorant of the rules...lol...that she can be excused...
Why not allow the courts to determine who is guilty and who can be excused...
This country can be great again - but not while these present crop are around or thier apologists.
For some days now I have been on a serious dilemma whether to resign from my federal government job that pays me above N200k for my current position and migrate to the UK or stay in naija and set up a business to augment my salary. I will be 34 years next year, I feel traveling to the uk for studies next year September will delay my chances of getting married, as I have planned not exceeding 34 years without getting married.
I belong to the school of thought that believes can make it in Nigeria despite all odds. However, considering the economic realities of the country, I have recently contemplating of japa and maybe get a Nigerian lady for marriage after my studies.
Please I earnestly need matured advice from you guys to know how to start the coming year.

The ones that have left and never looked back have they died...
But what about non- state government workers like traders and etc.
What help will the state governors render to them? It is as tho all state governors always forget there are other people in a state and the civil servants usually only enjoy these things.
The usual argument will be that the civil servant will patronize them with the increase but that sound somehow.
Better go and learn work instead of waiting for palliative...
Pakute: Journalism has gone to the dogs, today's journalism is all about feeding the headless mobs. Journalists are being threatened and attacked if they didn't tell the headless mobs what they want to hear.
FreeStuffsNG: Hmmm. I remember that Yoruba adage that if a house is peaceful it is because the illegitimate child in that family has not grown up. The day anyone wakes up to demolish a state house of Assembly in Yorubaland, that politician and his descendants are cancelled forever niyen!
A Governor still has Bosses in Yorubaland! Sim Fubara and Wike need to be called to order.
What Fubara did must be investigated by the Department of State Security (DSS) and if he is found culpable,, Sim Fubara must be prosecuted after office, made to refund the money and jailed so that no power drunk Governor will ever try this again. This is not different from what Donald Trump did on Jan 6 attack on the US legislature for which he is now being tried along with those who destroyed the US capitol.
I can't even imagine Seyi Makinde demolishing Oyo state House of Assembly where the likes of Pa Awo, Pa Akintola and other Legends treaded. Haba! Check my signature for free stuffs!
inoki247: Eh eh I no understand so dem Opay and Kuda is gone or what ...
Because I don't understand anything up dere....
It sad opay kuda palmpay etc are licensed deposit taking entities while GTB access zenith Polaris sterling zenith fidelity uba ecobank are deposit money banks therefore they are not affected ...
Again those not affected 1. Deposit money banks 2. Licensed deposit taking entities
FreeStuffsNG: But in an exclusive interview with PREMIUM TIMES, Mr Adeyemo, a professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, said the comment was taken out of context.
He noted that some of the reported closed wards had also been merged with the existing wards “owing largely to ongoing renovations and not strictly for ‘japa’ reasons.”
This is no brainer to get but those naysayers, unpatriotic elements, criminal defamers, cyberbullies perpetually glossing over bad news will not understand.
LUTH, just like the University of Lagos (UNILAG) , will always be on the first row seat of high priority, strategic and prestigious Federal tertiary institutions of excellence. In fact, the day LUTH starts closing wards will be the day there will be no single hope for any other teaching hospitals in Nigeria and Africa niyen.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
They closed 5 wards and 200 beds for retrofitting - to go back became a problem because they did not have enough nurses and doctors due to japa
OneCandleAway: I'm not even igbo. Do you know the cost of meter now? Installation is separate fee.
You all will be acting as if we are not living and spending in this Nigeria. So because I'm yoruba I can't criticise the govt especially when policies don't favour me
Shoodboi: I said it on the earlier post that they're about to claim it's Hamas and they didn't disappoint.
They're even claiming they're prisoners released by Israel when Israel only released 'prisoners' below 18.
300 prisoners below 18. Some have been in Israeli prisons since they were 12.
Why does Israel have so many Palestinian children in prisons?
What type of country imprisons children?
But then, it is better for a child to be in prison than to be shot in the head... like these two Palestinian children that Israeli soldiers assassinated in Jenin yesterday.
One was shot in the head. Israel shot a 9-year-old Palestinian boy in the head.
NOTE: Jenin is in the West Bank and not in Gaza. There is no Hamas there, yet they're being killed like rams. Yet Israel claims Hamas is the problem.
To think you will get away with the official rate - dey play
I applied for a prepaid meter early on - paid #88200 official rate for a single phase meter then additional #22000 to settle the manager and his boys at ibedec Abeokuta
FreeStuffsNG: The judgement followed an appeal that was brought before the court by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the election, Khalid Abdulmalik-Ningi.
INEC had declared that Suleiman of the PDP polled a total of 16, 866 votes to defeat his closest rival, Abdulmalik-Ningi of the APC, who scored 15, 065 votes in the election that was held on March 18. PDP is the one INEC is judged to be favouring against Asiwaju Tinubu's party o. Will the sore losers still not blame Asiwaju Tinubu if he sacks the INEC Boss?
Which party turns out to be the beneficiary - the APC of tulumbu
I am sure you didn't see that
..and eyeNEC was not favoring anybody - it's gross incompetence - because if they sat in a pre court appearance meeting they won't be assuming a position against the documents that they issued and certified ...
