Romance › Re: Is Love An Emotional Feeling Or A Logical Decision? by ITbomb(m): 11:08am On Jul 26, 2014
Dygeasy: As much as I started nodding my head in agreement with what you typed the moment I started reading you until I got to the bolded.

The original post states that (to my own understanding) falling in love and not attraction (which comes with lust and infatuation). For both genders, true love is more of an emotional feeling than logical. Infatuation is not in focus here.
That notwithstanding, most men actually fall in love much later after logically assessing many factors whilst being with the lady, while the ladies are kinda early birds falling even before being with the man. So, some appellation must be given to whatever happened before the man decides to fall in love (which the ladies mistake for love), I called it lust and/or infatuation.

CuteCynthia: If it's logical, it isn't love.
That is a lady speaking, however a responsible man would not settle down with a woman just because of love

Politics › Re: If Nigeria Breaks Up, Will It Affect Africa? by ITbomb(m): 6:41am On Jul 26, 2014
size38: What is Africa gaining from Nigeria in the first place?
1. 80% of investments by Africans around Africa is by Nigerians and these investments is mostly fueled (at least in capital) by the commonweath oil money, once that commonweath is broken, many sectors, banking, manufacturing, trading will fall.

2. Nigeria is the highest exporter of high skilled professional in Black Africa. We have Nigerians as Chief Judges in many African countries and doctors

3. 80% of television adverts revenues in Africa is from Nigerian company or companies doing business in Nigeria. That is why FIFA always pray that Nigeria qualifies for World Cup.

4. Nollywood is felt in all parts of the continent

5. Music. If you are underestimating the impact of Nigerian music, visit popular artists tour of other African countries and you will be amazed at the fans.

6. Church. Nigerian Pastors are actually taking over the land. Even if you don't care about the Gospel, the motivational and Inspiring words will lift you from your present state in life.

7. It is said silently in government circles in most African countries, if Nigeria could do this then we can.

You need to step out of Africa and the Western media to know the value of Nigeria and why USA is even threatened

Romance › Re: Can Guys Ever Be Faithful? by ITbomb(m): 6:09am On Jul 26, 2014
A player can never be faithful.
My dear, I would ask you to humbly consider the type of men that you fall for.
The smooth talking, trendy dressed guy that gave you a lift and so starts the relationship will never be satisfied because what he used to get you is what he used to get and dumped the ones before you.
Don't wait for a guy to come and sweep you off your feet, when a guy shows interest, give him a green light but stay low and inquire about him. If he is clean, don't make the fast food joint your assessment venue, rather, encourage him to participate in activities that you engage in. The player would not have time for such rubbish but true love is patient and will come out in such a situation.

.
20pounds: Don't look for a man that has all the qualities in the movie; look for a man that cherish and respect you.
Best of luck, next time cool
Romance › Re: Is Love An Emotional Feeling Or A Logical Decision? by ITbomb(m): 5:57am On Jul 26, 2014
For the female, it is mostly an emotional feeling right from the start. That is why when a girl fall for a guy, no matter how randy or what people say, she will still stick to him. That also explains why if a girl friendzoned a guy from the beginning no amount of reasoning can change her mind cos it is just a feeling.
Whereas
For the male, it is largely logical, a guy may have initial rush of emotions (mainly lust and infatuation) which leads to much caring for the new 'catch' but after a while, logical reasoning will come in to enable the man to make the decision whether to love the girl or to ditch her and get another.

That is why a man can comfortably marry his long time friend but very difficult for the woman.

Lastly, to get sex carries no logical decision-making, it is just an accelerated biological drive which pushes a man to do or say anything that the girl wants to hear, sadly most girls mistake this as a show of love and affection. The decision to love comes much later for the man while for the woman it happens even at the first meeting

Like I said before, if you are a power user of phone, you will be frustrated by the Apple iOS,

I simply can't use a phone that is wholly dependent on the desktop for basic management.
iOS is just good for simple navigation as they have beautified those short cuts to perform your task sleekly (though limited) but if you need to work under the hood, get the Android machine
Culture › Re: Where Is The Origin Of The "Nsibidi" Form Of Writing? by ITbomb(m): 7:32am On Jul 25, 2014
The highly placed people and intellectuals belonged to the Ekpo society as the then authority.

So it was not surprising when the first missionaries saw the demystification of Ekpo society and all its values as a foothold to capture the hearts of the locals.
Displaying a superior lifestyle and equipments (wine and guns inclusive) , they convinced the locals that if they want to be like them, they should send their children to be educated by them.
By that singular concession by the then leaders, the next generation was lost to the white men and subsequently the whole culture and values systematically debased by the white men as diabolic and eradicated while they imposed their history and writing on the locals.

Not surprising that one of the first group of ethnic group in Nigeria to get 'Written Words' carefully crafted out from the English alphabets was the Efik as that was the best means to displaced the already existing form of writing.

Nsibidii, lost forever while we grumble with half knowledge and misinformation (worse than to be uninformed)
