First qtn, why did the lady oblige the man buying her those stuffs. I tot the two of them went out for lunch. So she preferred a stranger's malt n gala to whatever her fiancé will get for her. As much as I would want to blame the man, I think the girl have case to answer if I were to be in your friend's shoe.

I will take it as public holiday.

Because so many people lie doesn't make it right. Of course I don't think anybody here is telling the wife not forgive her husband, but what is wrong is wrong.
The wife shd just find a way of forgiving the man and let the two of them sit down a find out the way forward. The man shd also stop showing signs of irresponsibility and find something doing. There are times we get into the valley but with persistence, we can always rise.

I dont have any problem with the guy being a drop out or whatever. So many drop outs there who are doing great. But please, why the deceit? The foundation of their union was based on deceit. There is nothing wrong with helping out a girl by giving her a lift if you're comfortable with it and your intentions are good ie just to help her; but most guys see it as a "free fish in the net" opportunity and want to capitalise.

If you're genuinely trying to do her a favour, you dont need congressional approval to do that but if you have other things in mind then it's ''wrong''.
