I am from akwa ibom bro.all my friends in Uyo are PA to PA to SA to a political office holder etc.
Nobody criticizes the government cos they gat to feed.
All our fathers,mothers,uncle's and aunties were civil servants..they have not paid them gratuity some for 7years..they only managed to pay a batch of 2016 last.meanwhile we are in 2023..
Cars are few on the roads,just Keke and mass trekking.
Any brand new car you see,must has govt plate number.no businesses just politicians building hotels everywhere.they open fancy boutiques for thier wives..and guess what,no sales at the boutiques because the masses do not have the purchasing power.
If not for the Igbos,I don't know how they would have coped.
The average akwa ibomite is a lazy person tho.

The system is not good for the good people. Good people are most likely not to head most offices in the public sector. Promotions are often for those that are able to bribe their way or align with the corrupt superior officers. You get sacked easily if you find yourself in a situation and refuse to compromise. Good army officers are most likely to get posted to the hot zones during wars, not because they want them to put things right but with the aim of them losing their life in the process. Indeed an insane head can not have a sane body! I hope that one day, good will thrive over evil in Nigeria.
