But shaming them tells a lot about how far we have come as a nation. That is the right thing to do.

izzou: I don't see why LP should be shamed for soliciting for donations.
Elections need funds, and these guys don't have a sitting governor or Senator to cut cheques, neither did they collect 100 million or 40 million per candidate.
I really commend their efforts to reach out to themselves for funds. Only problem is, a good part of that money will be stolen. I honestly can't be foolish enough to donate my money to a cause like that if I won't be a part of those monitoring what the money is used for. |

Now they're running like Lapo agents looking for who they gave loan to Maybe they indeed gave out some to farmers but I know for a fact that most of the money was shared to their cronies. Someone told me to submit my account number to receive part of the funds. My commission was 10% and I was to return the remaining. I refused. Nothing compares to having peace of mind. larride: Chima obviously have issues with PDP.
Looking at that thread again, what is the chances that even if Atiku wins, Igbos will get PDP ticket when hes done in say 8yrs?
Theres also no guarantee that even if APC wins next year that when the ticket rotate back to the South 16yrs later it will be zoned to the SE.
Either way, no guarantees. He's saying the S.East should form strategic alliances that will ensure that once the ticket is zoned back to the South, someone from the south east gets overwhelming support like Tinubu has gotten. |

Why isn't he advocating for PDP since its just 8 years, and yes the PDP has deeper roots that APC in the SE?
Why are we seeing Tinubu this and Tinubu that lately from him?
Someone that is fighting for his selfish interests and its very visible to the blind.
If he means well for his region, he should stand with Atiku like Ikedioha, and Ugwuanyi are doing.
Everybody knows Tinubu paid his dues, or is that a point for argument? Because the PDP can't be trusted to do the right thing. If Atiku loses again and he will, he will be back in 2027. Where does that leave the South? I do agree with you though, these guys only know their stomach, I sometimes find it difficult to take them serious on any issue. |

raumdeuter: Its North vs South
When its the time of the North everyone NW, NE and NC will contest for it When its the turn of the South, everyone SW, SE and SS will contest for it
Just like in 1999 when PDP said it was turn of the South OBJ SW defeated Ekwueme SE in the Jos primary to win the ticket
That was why people like Wike fought for it to be zoned to the South. whether its Fayose - SW, Wike SS or Anyim SE. It won't matter Exactly, the boy with diagnosis was asking why it wasn't given to the S.East since they've never had it. |

The Igbos should support APC and if they win, wait for 16 years?
Or they should support PDP, and if they win, wait for 8 years?
Because all I see is a man telling us history in sets of 120 characters That's exactly his point. Even if it takes 8 or 16 years. I can't put it as succinctly as he does. You can read it from the man himself. I have highlighted it in blue.

raumdeuter: Bros transport business is not easy, I don try run am before and it was almost impossible to make much from it unless it owner operated It's a very tough business to do and you must develop thick skin and not give in to emotions. Those drivers have a thousand and one reasons why your money was not complete. If its not that they were sick, its fuel scarcity or Wike task force arrested them and they paid 20,000 to bail themselves or that they had family problems but once the vehicle develops issues, they are very quick to call you to fix it. It is still from the money you will struggle to collect they expect you to fix it o. What I have realised is, transport business is better when you have more than one. More headache but you spread your losses. What I do is use it to tie money down while the return it gives takes care of inflation. The good thing is, vehicles don't depreciate in this country . You are almost guaranteed to sell it higher than you bought it after two years. |

To do mainland to Island now is at least #500, and these buses seat like 18 persons per trip and do at least 2 trips per day. The money might not be rozay poppin, but it's okay money, especially when you add side gigs like this example you just gave. Haha, I like how you guys are punching the numbers. You see, unlike you guys, I actually run a transportation business so I know better. Though its not in Lagos, I doubt there's much difference. First, most of those drivers you see don't own the vehicles. How much of this thing you're punching actually goes to the pocket of the person doing the maintenance. It's still from this thing you're punching they'll pay lastma when they run foul of the law. Lets talk about maintenance. One of the vehicles I use recently had engine issues. I spent almost 200k to rebuild it. That was all the car had given me in two and half months! There are just so many variables that you guys are not considering. Who no go no know |

BlueRayDick: Maybe transportation is cheap in the part of Nigeria u live in; but transportation is not cheap in Lagos. The cheapest u pay from one bus stop to another in Lagos is ₦100.... I mean a bus stop to another which is trekkable within 5 mins. See how you mention the 100 naira like it's one big money. Difficult to argue this with you because you also have a car, you're buying fuel at 180 naira per litre and you know how much you spend maintaining it. You should also note that they are required to spend a lot more than you on maintenance because the vehicles are always on the road sometimes plying routes you'll never take your vehicle. |
