GloriousGbola: The ultimate result of this election was the total humiliation and deconstruction of Dino as an ineffectual social media noisemaker.
If the man runs his mouth on SM anyhow going forward they will drag the hell out of him. Especially when an aje buta looking fine babe was able to beat the albino lion at his own game. That will be a real diss for a guy who is clearly comfortable with beating women up. I think those people in that link were sponsored by Yahya Bello to further humiliate Dino. I can't put it past him I agree with you though, everyone knows that even if the election was free and fair, Dino would not have won. As a sitting senator, he lost election to return to the NA. How was he expecting to win the general election? Like people have noted, he was probably just in it to cashout from donations |

When some people call me and I ask "who am I speaking with please? " , They will want to be like " Ah, so u didn't save my number?".
I just look at them say dem no know how stressful it will be if I save all the numbers that call me. You know the funny thing , he will surely survive that day and the days after whether u give him the money or not. That is what I have learnt about people who use hunger as reason for begging, they will always survive. When hunger wire them they will always sort themselves out.
One guy usually enter me with " I didn't eat yesterday night ; I had to sacrifice my food for my wife and kids..... Today I don't know what they will eat. Please help me with anything to even sort them" . The day I sat down, put one or two together and found out it was a format he was running on me; that was the day I put an end to it. The same person has been surviving since then. People know most people have soft spot for kids. Like if this guy was married and said his children have not eaten, I would have given it a second thought. I likely would have even given him money so the children don't suffer the foolishness of their father. |

BlueRayDick: I also experienced something similar , but not exactly the same.
I have a very close friend ( one of the very few I hold dearly ) . We were planning his wedding and in less than 2 months to the wedding day his mum died after slumping . The death took everyone by surprise and really shook him.
At a point we were contemplating shifting the wedding but eventually the family decided he should go ahead with it. In the wake to the wedding I had to dig deep into my savings to come through for him when he kept lamenting about a whole lot of things he’s yet to put in place due to the sudden death of his mum and how much he spent during the burial (which I also supported him financially for ). He even made me spend extra money by buying a new piece of suit to be his best man which I never planned before .
On the wedding eve I had to take it upon myself to foot bills for the hotel we will sleep overnight when I noticed he didn’t have any plan nor funds for it and was resigned to us sleeping in his parent’s house where a gazillion family members were sleeping over in preparation for the wedding . Within the first year of the wedding he was always complaining about his business not doing well and when I do have I raise him one or two change to sort minor issues .
Fast forward to the delivery of his first child , after announce the arrival of the baby he told me how much he’s trying to raise to have his wife and child discharged from the private hospital . I gave him what I can knowing fully well he will still come up with some request in 8 days time which will be naming ceremony . True to character he requested for financial asssitance few days to the naming and I was suggesting that he should just do a low key one since the funds are not really there now.
On the morning of the naming I sent him what I can and later he confided in me that my cash was timely cos that was what he used to buy a bag of rice that morning immediately alert entered . I didn’t go for the naming cos it was a work day but my spouse who did , what she described was definitely not a budget naming ceremony and the pictures my guy uploaded later confirmed same .
Less than a month after naming my guy’s house rent was due and he needs to borrow money to add to his rent . He told me he had the house rent complete before the naming but he had to spend out of it for the naming since Yoruba have a saying that “ ti Igi ba wo lugi, toke e ni won man koko gbe “ i.e if a tree falls on another fallen tree, u will definitely have to lift the one on top to be able to reach the one underneath . So he had to first sort the naming before the rent payment .
I just shook my head at his scale of priorities and cautioned myself to never be foooolish by going all out for people who don’t know how to prioritize their needs . I took several steps backwards on his matter because I just don’t see myself continuing to sponsor his bad choice of order of priorities . Why do we all have people like this? People who make very bad choices, you advice them they don't listen and when the problem comes, they run to you for help. As if you're the foolish one who has nothing to do with money. Someone was sacked because his company lost contract. The company offered to send him to another location and he asked me about it. I told him to take it pending when he can get something better. Next time we spoke, he said the place was too far from his house so he decided not to take it. I wished him all the best. Few weeks later, he sent me a text message that he's dying of hunger and he didnt eat the day before and has no hope of eating that day. I just ignored it. I have since realised that you can't help everyone. Do the little you can and face your front. We all have problems we need money to solve. |

They have not lived up to par.
My only reason to join this argument was how it became very okay to see an NLC Chairman beaten for not breaking the law.
We can be angry because he is selfish...That one is okay[/color] Absolutely. There's no justification whatsoever. Whether it is Dino or Fayose or Ajaero, it's still the same. No one should be physically assaulted. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 6:36pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
What I think is that, the election gave Ajaero and NLC an opportunity to force Uzodinma into meeting their demands. They thought Uzodinma who had an election to win will be forced to yield to them.
Unknown to them, uzodinma already perfected his rigging plans with INEC. Even if everyone in Imo had dropped dead the night before, he still would have won.
Ajaero was not necessarily playing politics in the real sense of it. He wanted to take advantage of an opportunity.
There's no justification whatsoever for him to have been beaten that way. My only problem with him is that the we the masses have been suffering since BAT made the infamous subsidy is gone statement and he has never been able to muster courage to go on strike. If he had gone on strike then, BAT would have reversed his decision and we can all rally behind him now.
The government cannot be beating the citizens with hardship and you're crying they beat you in Owerri. |

Almost everyone knows what happened in Kogi on Saturday is broad daylight electoral fraud. Imagine they can't even perfect it immediately, na work-in-progress..... I'm sure all the other contestants know going to court will be in futility if they learn anything at all from the last presidential election judgment. I still think they should go to court. Unlike the presidential where we all knew going to court was a waste of time, several governorship elections have been upturned. There's still that chance no matter how little that the court can right the wrongs of INEC. |
