@ toyemz , its not only Nigerian men in western countries that does such, the ones in Nigeria are even worse. These days girls have 2 double check, investigate ,even pay private investigator to make sure the man they are dating is not married. Especially the ones that that live in different cities with their wives. I am sure if the poster confronts the guy he will deny. Even swear that he is not married.

@ seun its not a nollywood movie. I don't knw if such has been acted in a nollywood movie, i am not up to date on nollywood movies. But this happened for real to a girlfriend of mine.

My dear its the rubbish people see these days, i have a friend after watching her boyfriends wedding on television . He appeared three weeks later and hid his ring in his pocket. When she confronted he denied until she told him she watched his wedding on television , then he admitted he was married and brought the ring out of his pocket.

The poster might be wrong for talking to his wife in a bad manner, that does not give his mother in law the right to slap him. Any sensible mother inlaw will caution the man , if she feels insulted she should let him know. How will the girl feel if the husbands mother slaps her because she was rude to her husband. People should stop allowing their parents interfer in their marriages. Your wife should draw a boundary for her mother if she wants her marriage to last.

She might be using you to get over your friend. A girl that just broke up with your friend , is really not emotionally stable, she is hurting from the previous relationship, so she is using you to forget your friend. Besides if your friend finds out ur friendship will probably end. Is the girl worth the friendship.

You won't blame some women for taking their husbands without him knowing. Some men are just terribly stingy. When a man is free with the finance and discusses such issues with his wife, then such things will not happen.@ poster check yourself too. For taboo i don.t know. I have seen several Lebanese men married to black women in my church. Ur case can also be different also. Just enjoy ur relationship and don't let people feed you with different ideas that will make you want to spoil what you have.

I agree with u MRBROWNJAY, people get married for all d wrong reasons. D purpose of courting is to find out about d person.Love is not enough to keep a marrriage, but compromise , patience, respect. Most times when i hear my married friends complain i wonder, so i usually ask them was he like dis when u guys were dating or what were you people discussing when u were dating .I found out dat dey spend dia time during courtship concentrating only on what d man will buy for them and forget evryoda aspect, den u now try 2 correct something u tolerated in courtship. Dats y people have problems most of the time because they expect their spouse to change. Then our religious leaders are not helping matters, this seeing vision of a thing, i wonder y an adult cannot decide for him or herself on marriage that u will need a pastor 2 decide for u.

If the reasons ur friends gave for not liking ur boyfriend are the once you stated in ur post, then u need 2 make new friends and ditch d ones u have now cos they are not ur friend. N o matter how bad a guy is ur friends do not have d right 2 treat him badly, its just simply disrespectful not only 2 d guy but 2 u. If ur friend does not like ur guy she is supposed to tell u privately and its up to u 2 take their advce or not. A friend is supposed 2 be happy when her friend meets a nice guy that treats her well. There is nothing wrong with a pentecostal getting married to a catholic. As long as both of u have an understanding. U really have 2 discuss with ur girl issuess like wat church both of u will attend when u get married. D church u will like 2 raise ur children. Simple things like church can destroy ur mariage. Once u have an agreement about that u don't have any problem. Her parents should not be ones to decide 4 both of u. D truth is if u don't settle dis now and u get married.I am a caotholic and i know it is okay for catholics to get married to non catholics. But if ur wife is baptised in the catholic church it is advisable for her to wed in the catholic church or if she weds in a pentecostal church she can bless her marriage in the catholic church.

Praying will not solve anything for u. God will not come down and change the the man.U have to look for a different approach in handling issues.If u want someone to change try changing urself when u change in ur manner of approaching issues den d person will change or else u will continue with d same problem. U have u 2 choose ur battles, don't fuss over every little thing, don't bring up touchy issues at inappropriate time, like wen he is tired , in a bad mood or just came back from work. Try to control ur tongue, don't be abusive and rude, when you have a discussion let him make his point, try to listen or act as if u are listening, don't interrupt den when he finishes politely bring in ur suggestion. Always try 2 complement him and agree sometimes with him. I think d problem is ur fiance feels u are trying to control him so he is being stubborn. Don't try 2 force him to agree with u. It does not have 2 always be ur way try 2 compromise 2.

U cannot compare studying in Nigeria with studying in UK and US. Nobody should make dat comparison. U are made 2 work here, u have 2 think outside d box. U have 2 reaon in abstract. Deres is nothing wrong with wanting court marriage, cos a marriage has to fulfil the law of the land and God. So u must register ur marriage with the law. There is no big deal about that.

It is not story, d things dat happen in marriages these days is alarming. Just last week a former class mate of mine was killed by his wife. She stabbed him 3 times in d neck.Yes in Nigeria it happened and d guy died.

First of all look for holes in your house, chk if dee holes in ur house net, chk ur windows if there are spaces, just mke sure u chk d house for open spaces and holes, on d wall. switches. When u have succesfully covered all d holes. Den u can use a strong insecticede and fleet all corners of d house. Do it in d night after cleaning ur house wen every one is asleep, den u can fleet d kitchen cupboars and lounge. Had d same problem with cockroaches but i found out there was a hole in my bathroom were dey were entering d house from.
