Actually Britain was given a 6 month deadline to give up control of the Island and the deadline is non binding so there won't be sanctions or punishment against Britain but if it were to be an African or weak Asian country what would have happened? The ICJ is still on the case they can still put pressure on Britain if Mauritius keep pressing charges.

You are partly right.
But any African country can also ignore ICJ ruling provided they have the means for occupation.
For instance, Nigeria could have held on to Bakassi despite the 2002 ruling.

ICJ ruled in 2019 that Britain should vacate the Island, close the joint military base it built with U.S. there and return the Island to Mauritius but Britain has yet to obey that order it's two years since the UN ruling.

The ICJ ruling is non-binding.
