no o! I was just wondering why you are defending him even when he was so rude in expressing himself. |

he could reason any how he wants, but he should refrain from using dirty words. Others have posted similar advices and we are all learning everyday, but sigo should not come here and brag as if we don't know what he does. lets not open cans of worms here. Abi you be Sigo brother?? |

Sigo10, I am surprised you are so worked out on this issue, are you sure there are no strings attached. I just came back from naija 3 days ago, and I can bet you I was not impressed so whats your stress. If you have been denied a visa in the past, thats your bad luck, a lot of people have made their money overseas and are investing big time in Nigeria, you are there jumping up and down with your silly advices. I have never done any odd job since I landed here, I am a professional and no job in Nigeria can afford me, go and note that. Maybe all the people around you are those who go overseas to do odd job, another bad luck for you, the good news is that there are millions of Nigerians overseas living better lives than they will ever get in naija, and sorry o, you are not one of them, still another bad luck for you. Go and get a life and mind your business. If you live half the quality of life that most of us are living, you would have had a better life. I can sense from your post that you are one of those teenagers that steal their mums money to run to the cybercafe to write jargons. You sounded so childish in your last post, I regret ever responding to your post at all, how childish and immature Have you read thru other peoples posts to see how polished they sound? Compare your childish posts to other posts and see, abeg who be this sef?. You are a newbie to nairaland and you are so excited you don't even know when to type sensible posts. I checked all the 13 posts you have had on nairaland and I was disappointed, how childish and senseless. Grow up please, naiaraland is a place for polished people. If I start with you, you can't stand me. I have dealt with posters worse than you and they have learnt their lesson but I won't worry about you since I now know you are a child just trying to catch some attention by typing from a chicken brain. I am sick of reading your post, so I will save my time for more useful things and ignore anymore post from you. |

sigo10: " advice your self " " think twise " you still don't make sense. And of course you know what I mean by yahoo-yahoo because that is your job or you think I don't know you? stop pretending! Abeggi! I repeat, mind your business and don't make other people's problems your problem, we Nigerians abroad are not complaining so leave US ALONE! ah! |

sigo10: sigo10 or whatever you call yourself, first and foremost, pls always read through before sending your post because I couldn't make much sense out of what you wrote due to too many errors and ommissions. You go school at all?? Secondly, why do you have to use abusive words just to advise fellow Nigerians to come home?? This is a forum for developed and matured minds, if you have any useful advice, why not go straight and share it instead of calling us names. You sounded so arrogant and aggressive in you mail, how has it become your problem that people are traveling overseas, abi they have denied you visa so many times?? you don't have to take it out on others. Lastly, let me advise you, mind your business and do whatever pleases you. IF you call the messy, corrupt, yahoo-yahoo, dubious, dirty live that you ( I MEAN you sigo10) live in Nigeria as being a big guy then you are finished. If you live half of the type of quality life we Nigerian overseas are living, I am sure you will regret ever coming into nairaland to bable like a goat. Please mind your business and don't make other people's problem your problem. |
Travel / Re: Traveling To Naija: Any Tips On Public Transportation From Murtala M. Airport? by iyeayo(f): 1:07pm On Jan 08, 2009 |
jay bee: I have weighed this option, but my fear lies in a situation where the driver, on knowing we are arriving from oversea and thinking we may have money and visa-ed passport on us, may want to play games. Might be the best way to go, but I'd rather play with an known devil than with a unknown angel. I'll see how I go sha. Thanks heaps and I'll let u know if I need some help. |

Travel / Traveling To Naija: Any Tips On Public Transportation From Murtala M. Airport? by iyeayo(f): 11:20pm On Jan 07, 2009 |
Dear Nairalanders, please I need advice on a trusted and 'not too expensive' mode of transport from MMA to Ibadan. I am thinking of going home sometimes, but I don't have anyone to come and pick me from the MMA airport. My mama don old and can't drive in Lagos, and none of my sibs are around. I am happy to even charter a cab, but I am scared of safety and trustworthiness of cab drivers. please anyone who has been home recently and used public transport from MMA interstate should please throw some light on the issue. |

yanyan: Please dont be fooled. The only authentic website for anything to do with visas to australia is www.immi.gov.au . Any other website is either an agent or fake. The authentic website will provide all the info you need about travelling to Australia. Remember, do not give out your money to anyone unless you have so much to waste. Take time to read info on this website. I live in Australia, and I know a little too well. If you have specific questions, mail me at iyeayo@yahoo.com.au. I am not an agent or employer, nor am I going to help you process a visa. But I am just very happy to provide some useful tips and guide, so you will avoid being exploited. cheer |

OgidiBoy: Her Aunty relocated her Mum with her when she was 6 years of age. Her Dad left her Mum when he couldn't secure a visa to join them. That was about 18 years ago.Now she is out of school with a degree in Business Admin. Her Mum is now a successful practising nurse also in the UK. Since she entered the Uni, she has been blaming her Mum for all the negative comments she gets from friends and how she can't get a boyfriend. Now she is out of Uni and she is finding it difficult to get a job (she thinks its because of her tribal marks). |

guvnor1: first of all, your success in Australia depends mainly on the skills you are bringing in or the skills you intend to acquire here. On a short note, people in IT, medical professionals, mine professionals, finance professionals are top shots here, followed byother professions. so if you have any of those skills, there is opportunity for you regardless of where u live. Brisbane is the best place in terms of the temperature (like naija), bt not necessarily the best interms of opportunity. Adelaide is the cheapest capital city to live in, big houses for lower cost, less traffic etc, but job availability is also lower as most businesses prefer to put their offices in Sydney, Melbourne etc. If you have experience in oil and gas, minning, electrical, civil, mehanical, GIS, industrial chemistry, geology, drilling bla bla bla, then you may want to end up in Perth as this is the best place for technical people. There are job opportunities and lots of naijas. Darwin is also good weather wise and very beautiful, but it is so under-populated that boredom can make u pack your box and go home. There are lots of naijas in Sydney and Melbourne, lots of opportunities too, but quite expensive because those are where 'it is happening', especially if u like 'igbadun' aka enjoyment, but if you can manage yourself or if you can live in outskirts, then you should be fine. Canberra is the public sector city. Cool, but quiet and reserved. it can also be very cold. u can mail me on iyeayo@yahoo.com if u have specific queries or u need some personal advice. 1 Like |

whatever90: good talk whatever90. I agree with you. Do you know how many Englos, Americans, etc enter Australia everyday? Infact, Australia has no natural nationality of its own except for the aborigins, so that tells you that of the 20million residents, about 16million are of foreign decent, which mean there must be something here that is keeping them here. Those that relocate to the UK etc are probably the ones that have spent their entire life here and probably need a change, or they think so. Australia is still the best country if you are looking for quality of life as well as career opportunity. The currency may not weigh up to the almighty GBP but at the same time the money is cool if you spend it in Australia/Naija With the right moves, you are sure to get to the top. |
