The Presidency has criticized government opponents for influencing the perception of the United States government of Nigeria which is believed to have led to delays in the supply of fighter jets to the country to boost the fight against insecurity.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by Presidential Spokesman Garba Shehu, one of those opponents includes the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah.

In the statement titled: ‘Predicting Nigeria’s Collapse Is A Perennial Pursuit Of US Think Tanks And Policy Experts’, Shehu maintained that the clergyman provided quotes from a book written by former US Ambassador to Nigeria, John Campbell, which the Presidency observed do not suggest much improvement in the country.

Days After Her Passing, Late Osinachi’s Nwachukwu’s Pastor, Paul Enenche, Breaks His Silence

Senior Pastor of Dunamis Church Abuja and the clergyman of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, Paul Enenche, has broken his silence days after her sad death.

According to the Pastor, Osinachi and her husband came two and a half months ago to complain of a chest infection and he did his best as her pastor to get her medical help until she died.
He said it was after her passing that he discovered she allegedly suffered in the hands of her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.

The Clergyman also said when he asked Osinachi’s twin sister, her son, and even church members who knew about the physical abuse, they told him that late “Ekwueme” crooner would always beg them not to let the church leaders know what she was passing through and that she believed God will change him.

Pastor Enenche said that as a church they have zero degree tolerance for domestic abuse and wife battering of any sort.

I never wanted to bring this here but I have to, I am a type of person who likes to keep my relationship away from social media but this is for clarification purposes.

This was my secondary school classmate who I thought I knew to an extent. On December 28, 2020 he did the 1st and 2nd stage in my family marriage list which bride price happened to be on the 2nd stage which he paid. After he paid my bride price he started maltreating me.

2021 was hell for me that at some point I left home, after everything we settled around November 2021 which he promised he will never beat me again. But still nothing CHANGED.

This is my reason why I am CALLING OFF the Traditional Marriage (Igba Ngwu) and White Wedding ceremony between me and DAVID OKIKE OFF. (Beating me was not part of the agreement in our Marriage)

This Saturday should have been my traditional and white wedding ceremony day.... I supposed to be happy but I am not.

For couple of months now I have been going through a lot.

I have been in a TOXIC RELATIONSHIP for OVER a YEAR now.. I am aware that this may be a shock to many people, especially people from my Home Town. My supposed husband HIT and ABUSE me in any slightest provocation, just small misunderstanding without minding what condition I am into.

Because I have chosen ME and I will not live my entire life facing DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. My supposed husband is full of RAGE, BEATING me with his Belt, Stick, Broom is his DAILY ROUTINE, Many a times he had lifted his hammer � on me and this Monday last week just because of little misunderstanding he beat me mercilessly and on the process of it he rushed into his mother's kitchen for a cutlass, when I noticed he's going for a weapon I locked the door behind him which he forcefully opened, both his mother and Sisters and some neighbors were begging him not to cut me with the cutlass ... With all these things and more I am fed up.

I AM CALLING OFF THE WEDDING AND TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE (IGBA NGWU) BETWEEN ME AND DAVID OKIKE that supposed to hold on this Saturday 16th, April 2022.

Please to my family and friends I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you ��

I am still suffering from unstoppable headache I sustained from the head injury he gave me 3 weeks ago.

Telecom Subscribers asked to pay #5,000 to get their NIN.

There is a trending video online where a lady was bitterly complaining over the amount she was asked to pay by her telecom provider to enable her get her NIN.

According the her,she was asked to pay 5000 naira to get her NIN.
Others paid as much as 7,000 naira.

Yesterday NCC ordered all telecom providers to block subscribers who haven't linked their NIN from making calls.

Deacon Dies While Preaching Against Ritual Killings In Ogun

A deacon at the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Onikoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Francis Ogunnusi, reportedly slumped and died while against the ‘get-rich-quick’ syndrome during a Sunday service.

The church was thrown into confusion when the Deacon, also said to be the Baale of Onikoko, a community, near the Panseke area suddenly slumped with a microphone in his hand.

According to Daily Trust, a viral video showed the Deacon alongside an interpreter, warning against the rising cases of money-making rituals.

Delivering his sermon in Yoruba, Ogunnusi said “The money you make through unlawful means, killing people, sucking human blood; when death comes, it will belong to another person.”

However, when the interpreter was still trying to present the words in the English language, the man slumped and threw the church into commotion.

He was reportedly rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, where he was pronounced dead.

The aforementioned publication reported that a congregant said, “The man was not the pastor of that church, he was just an elder. He was the Baale of Onikoko. But he was the one that delivered the sermon on Sunday.

“He was talking about death and people who make money by killing other people. All of a sudden, he collapsed. He was rushed to the FMC, but he died. We don’t know what happened. I was very scared. Everything was disrupted. We just shared the grace and went home.”

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON THE STATE OF INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

It is no longer news that Nigeria is presently being ravaged by insecurity, and Kaduna State is gradually becoming the capital of insecurity in Nigeria. As the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a one time resident in Kaduna, a city where you spent the bulk of your youthful days, it is imperative that we draw your attention to the carnage currently ravaging our country, as it appears that your aides do not bring these issues to your attention.

Mr. President, Nigeria is bleeding. For some time now, bandits have taken over the entire North-West, North-East and North Central Nigeria, while kidnappers are having a field day in the Southern part of the country. Sadly, the situation appears to have overwhelmed the nation’s security architecture. In an attempt to avoid being caught in the crossfire, citizens have often resorted to rail and air transportation. However, it appears that as the citizens device other means of staying safe, the criminal elements equally device other means of causing mayhem to innocent citizens. The resultant effect of these criminal acts is the recent attacks on the Kaduna airport and the Abuja-Kaduna rail line. As at today, the average Nigerian cannot travel by air, road or rail to Kaduna. The state has been literarily cut off from the country. Sadly, the security situation in Kaduna is just a reflection of what is happening in the entire country.

It is, therefore, time for you to take decisive actions, Mr. President. Our intelligence units have failed. Our armed forces are overstretched. The average Nigeria is left at the mercy of bandits and kidnappers. Sequel to the foregoing, we, therefore, call for the total reorganisation of our security units in order to effectively tackle the present insecurity. We suggest that a special anti-terrorism or anti-banditry unit be created. In addition to the foregoing, we suggest that an executive bill be immediately sent to the National Assembly with a view to amending the Constitution towards the creation of state policing. Lastly, the government must address the root cause of the insecurity by providing employment and basic amenities for the average Nigerian.

Mr. President, please remember that the protection of life and property is the government’s primary responsibility!

Today, i went to Dei Dei market to get some electricals, i entered a shop and the owner of the shop was arranging my stuff.
Then a woman walked into a shop opposite the one i was in,she sat down,then told the secretary to excuse her that she wants to discuss with her husband(It was then i knew it was her husband that owns the shop).
The secretary told her that she is going nowhere,that she is doing her work.
