I know a Naija friend in UK married to a white lady, He hasnt been to Nigeria in over 20yrs, Barely has anything to do with Naija anymore, lives in a small UK town barely meeting any African but his grown kids are always raving about Burna Boy and wizkid. Dreaming of going to Nigeria. One even said once he gets into college save some money Na to visit Naija
I know kids wey dem born for Yankee never been to Naija but now dem dey wear ankara trousers all over and eat Suya, Amala and abula almost every weekend Abeg how do people do this, or get to this point? I cannot imagine myself away for this long, talk more of not having anything to do with home. |

BlueRayDick: I am telling u that I've seen trucks belonging to construction companies with more than 6 tyres on the bridge before in the evening.
If I don't remember anyone, I remember that of Borini Prono(a construction company) that I saw their heavy duty equipment carrying truck on the bridge sometimes around 2021/2022.
That's why I said the police/road safety should put in more efforts to arrest those still violating the ban on heavy duty trucks on the bridge. I know quite well that those RRS' job is to arrest them. I have given you exceptions nau. Coaches (Bus), Garbage trucks, etc are exempted. They are not in that category of trucks that are banned from passing the bridge. How many tons does a Construction Tip truck carry, compared to a trailer? Those trucks are exempted. That's what I am telling you. Saying Heavy Truck are banned from 3MB is very ignorant, coming from the owner of the bridge. They don't pass there. |

GloriousGbola: na you wey dey rate umahi [assuming you do]
his only job is to sell concrete road nothing else
a construction professional who delivered an expensive vanity project to ebonyi
the typical naija governor ibime was talking about - unable to steal while applying common sense and delivering a project that will provide actual value to the end user
poor excuse for an oga who immediately threw his subordinate under the bus at the first sign of trouble
now he is opening his mouth to announce something all lagosians have known since I have always considered the idea to build airports in all SE states as absurd Owerri and Enugu is more than enough to serve the whole SE. Owerri can serve Abia and Anambra (Less than 2 hours drive), while Enugu can serve Anambra and Ebonyi. All they need to do is come together and build a rail network. Tinubu needed a wasteful spender, so Umahi ticked that box. |

BlueRayDick: I think the headline is misleading.
The truth some heavy-duty trucks actually pass through the 3rd mainland bridge in disobedience to the directive against that; I've seen trucks belonging to construction companies and tippers laden with sand/gravel on the bridge on few occasions.
I think what Umahi should have done is to advise Road safety and police authorities to enforce the prohibition order of heavy-duty trucks not being allowed on the bridge going forward. A Tipper is 6 wheels, and yes, they are allowed to pass. Besides, the tons a Tipper carries is far lesser than a trailer Every truck driver knows this. Even at midnight , those RRS station at Adeniji and Iyana Oworo will nab you if you do. This ban is more than 8 years sef. Heavy duty vehicles do not pass 3MB |

BlueRayDick: I honestly don't know how it works. But to make it effective, I think DSS should be alerted that he should not be allowed to make it past the boarding gate of any airport in this country.
That way, even if he decides to book a flight or charter a flight under a fake name, he should be bundled out of the airport on sight. No fly is No fly...I don't think anyone can carry you, whether private or commercial. Anyhow it goes, K1 is the author of this misfortune. BlueRayDick: The man really reason Nigerians less 😂.
I’ve seen another angle of the video , Omo he was just lucky . The man actually needs to be prosecuted ; it’s not enough punishing the pilot for breaking safety protocol .
The doors of the aircraft has been long shut before the incident happened . He deliberately stayed in front of the aircraft with the intention of grounding the plane . He was visibly making frantic calls to the who-is-who he knows so that the plane won’t be allowed to fly without him.
Tho the pilot messed up by moving the plane forward , but an argument can be made that the pilot was unable to see him cos where he stayed was directly below the belly of the plane ; I don’t know if pilots can see what happens under there sha .
They need to either put him on no fly list or prosecute him to send a note of warning to other VIPs ; but this is Nigeria so I’m sure he will most likely walk free Instead of that pathetic reply, he should have just written a note of Thanksgiving to God for saving his life If not, na "Adieu Papa", "Exit of a Legend", or "Gone too soon" we for they write. And ValueJet should have not wasted their time sueing him. That's where Unions come in. Just let the Airline Union issue a statement that no airline will lift KWAM 1 until he makes an apology. Then watch him retract that rubbish and apologize |

There is a graphic for it that I am trying to look for Obi polled 6 million votes in 2023 1.9 million was from the South East. 1.7 million was from the North Central 1.2 million was from the South South. Roland17: Mark, you see, this is where I will push back and will not stop.
Anyone is welcome to banter Obi, question his integrity, personality, performance as a Governor or any held position and I will have absolutely no problem. Infact, you can banter and ridicule his voice, shoe, wrist watch, it is all part of the game and as a politician Obi should expect it, he put himself out there like every other politician.
However, on a personal level, I will not tolerate or accommodate any attempt to ridicule Obi because he is "Igbo" or any agenda narrative around his tribe. The last time I checked, Obi is a candidate of a National Party with National following and is well within his constitutional right to vie for that office. Obidients do not represent the Igbo cause, they represent their own political ideology. This is the same way I have pushed back on the idea that IPOB represent Igbos and our collective cause.
Once again, let me be very clear, I don't care about Agendas against Obi nor Asiwaju or Atiku but please, refrain from making this about Obi being Igbo because we know where it will go and rest assured I will take PTO days for it and not back down. I would plead with you to please back down. Enjoy the show!. Isn't it funny that the most vocal supporters of Obi, and the two monikers he has been quoting back and forth, are not even Igbos? No attack am oh. Allow am to continue. Na here we dey! |
