Ok, thanks. Now let’s put aside the court issues and all that for now. What’s your take on the interview?
My take is that you cannot singlehandedly blame Obi for the woes of LP.

LP was already an established party before he came on board. LP had a structure. Obi was adopted as the presidential candidate. Simple

We would be unfair to blame one person for the struggles of a party, when they have a Chairman, leader and exco, of which he is not part of.

If this is weak leadership to you, ya diba. He has kuku left the party. I hope to see your reviews on LP 2 years later. Let's evaluate how strong the party is.

Also note that the person you are using his interview as reference, has gone back to support Weak Leadership again.

True. My apologies

Have you listened to Kenneth Okonkwo’s interview?
The Kenneth Okonkwo who is the reference here, is currently in APC, singing Tinubu's praises. I mean....The man who said Tinubu is corrupt and unfit, left his own man because of weak leadership, and embraced corruption.

I'm not saying Obi is the best leader oh. He may even be worse. It's true

But if we are to blame a man for his party's woes because he is following the court's order, I really don't know what to say, tbh.

I think Kenneth Okonkwo would strongly disagree with you on Obi’s ability to lead and on the internal issues within the Labour Party. You should check out his interview on the matter. Even DonJ’s stance on his leadership skills suggests you are out of touch with who Peter Obi truly is or what he may be capable of achieving in a complex country like Nigeria.

If he could not resolve the challenges within a promising party he helped turn into a national force and has now jumped ship to the ADC, how exactly do you expect him to tackle corruption and entrenched saboteurs across the country? Bro, your take on this is giving pre Buhari messiah vibes.

Anyway, it is your right to vote for him if he eventually emerges as the flag bearer of the coalition. While I personally will not be voting for anyone from that coalition or the current incumbent, I genuinely hope Obi can unseat Tinubu if only so we can finally put an end to the myth that people like you keep pushing.
On this part, you are wrong

The court has already said Abure's Leadership has ended. What would you have him do? Start a media war, or carry Cutlass like Wike? grin

I would even accord him some respect for not scattering the party and declaring himself Lord.

If Wike was in LP, I am sure Abure would not even have the space he is having now to talk.

He has never insulted the leadership of the party. Even with the coalition, he did not berate LP at all.

If all these is poor leadership, well....Na only God go fit save us, then

The narrative that they have sold out to Nigerians is that the only way to defeat Tinubu or the APC is through a coalition, that is wrong. A clean political party fielding the right candidate can beat the APC hands down, even in the presence of a coalition.

When Obi moved to LP with nothing, you laughed to scorn, and reminded us that he has no Senators, HOA, and no connections to the political powers to make it

Today, they have formed a coalition

.....honestly you are right, it doesn't but it ain't shared cos it resonates with my online political personality as you said.

But......it gets a lot to do with those proving "SAINT". The same Structure of Criminality they condemned for months, its same Structure they are embracing and celebrating now.

I have never preached that APC is saint, nope! Politics is a game to me, so it needs to be played well to get the wins.

I strongly believe PBAT is getting it right, though the pains are still there for the masses but it won't last forever cos we are really closer to the light than before.

You may disagree with my political stance but wanting Nigeria to exit doom to glory remains my main target and I still believe PBAT can make it happen
.
The bolded is actually the opposite of what Charly boy believes.

People are tired of the same old thing. People are tired APC. You supported Buhari, so did Tinubu. Today, Tinubu is telling us Nigeria was mismanaged and he inherited a bankrupted Nigeria from the same person he sold as the Savior for 8 years.

I agree with Deji Adeyanju for the first time in a while. You cannot say Nigeria is bad, and troll someone for trying to do anything.

When we talk about how rotten Nigeria is, you will support and contribute. When people try to change the scope by any means, you kick it down. Doesn't make any meaning to me.

I don't see any light in this coalition, but I won't tear down anybody's hope of believing in it. After all, Nigeria is a horrible place already

Its simply a clear message to Obidients on this board that they should stop gaslighting theirselves like El-Rufai, Malami, Mark and even Peter Obi indeed form the Coaltion to rescue what is already being rescuing rather than to desperately grab power for their selfish sakes.

....and Yes! If they decamp to APC, definitely gonna rejoice coz Politics is always a game, especially a game of numbers.
The message you're sharing does not resonate with your online political personality or your political party

Everybody is shouting “Let’s unite and take back Nigeria.”
The noise is loud. The outrage? Clear.

But you see ehn… when you look past the press conferences, the hashtags, the handshakes… one question still dey remain:
Unite for what exactly?

Is this about Us/Nigerias, or just about power?

Because some of the same people that sank this country are suddenly singing redemption songs.

Coalitions are forming, but let’s not pretend that every alliance is progress.
Sometimes, it’s just old wolves in new agbada.

Are they fighting for you, or fighting to sit where their enemies used to sit?

Are they shouting “enough is enough” because they’ve changed…
Or because they’re no longer the ones benefitting?

We don’t just need new names.
We need new values, new visions, and people with the guts to live by them.
2027 is not about revenge. It’s about rescue.

Let’s not trade one oppressor for another with nicer grammar.
Let’s ask the hard questions now, before our dreams of a better Nigeria is again snatched from us.

- Charly Boy [70yrs Old Man]
I support every single word here, but I'm surprised you deem it fit to share.

Everything he warns about is exactly what you support. Your own New Nigeria is the same Old Agbada.

Who appoints these RECs and who do they work under?
Yakubu, and they work under him

The same Yakubu's REC declared Obi winner in Lagos.

If you were to pay someone to rig, who would be more grounded to help you falsify Lagos results? Yakubu in Abuja, or the person in Lagos?

If Tinubu gives Yakubu $100 million, how much would he give each state REC, knowing fully well that they can be bought over by the opposition?

For any rigging to be sweet, the State REC must be involved. Na State REC Wike use. Yakubu had no choice than to accept it.

The funds was for INEC as an institution, not particularly Yakubu. He sure knows how to disburse it.

All INEC has to do is accept results from governors who have been given/promised other mouth watering incentives.
Every state is different and perculiar

If we go by what you're saying, no opposition will win any state in Nigeria.

I am not saying Yakubu cannot be sorted out, but the real work is in each state, depending on what you want to achieve. For some states, you need to just get 25%. For some, you need 50k votes. These are beyond Yakubu in Abuja.

That also means you will not commit 150 billion to a man that can obviously do almost nothing once the State REC has stamped

This is a start but its not that straight forward

There are PDP governors everywhere, will they all move to ADC? People Like Adeleke won Osun for Atiku in 2023, he wont be there anymore. Where wil the PDP structure fall?
In Osun for example Aregbe is the ADC leader, where does that leave the governor Adeleke?
In Oyo will Makinde also collapse PDP and go into ADC? What of Mbah? Bala Mohamed etc

I am thinking Wike and co will do is float another PDP Presidential candidate say Bala Mohammed or another Northerner

Will Obi be okay with waiting for 8yrs to get his own run at presidency?
El Rufa and the younger Northern politicians for example has been screaming for a Southern presidential candidate in 2027 so people like him wey still young can openly contest in 2031 as Northern candidate with the explanation say South don finish their 8yrs
Your question was if Obidients will vote ADC.

And I'm saying there will be only two viable choices.

I'm talking about the electorates, not the politicians

Atiku left PDP because Wike don hijack the party from him and he cannot realize his ambitions. You think Obi will agree to be Atikus VP if he does, will his supporters follow him as well?

I also think the best ticket to challenge Tinubu is Atiku-Obi. It was true in 2023 and still true in 2027
There's only two options in 2027; APC and ADC.

Let's assume that all parties keep their figures from 2023. Atiku only needs 50% of Obi's supporters to win.

I strongly believe that everyone already knows where he stands. Obi and Atiku already know where they stand.

The chances of the coalition depends on who they want to present as president

No need to dey window dress, we know 2 of them Atiku and Obi want to be presidential candidate. The coalition is about who will get the ticket and how the other part will react to it.

If Atiku gets the ticket, will Obi agree to partner with him on the coalition or move away
If Obi gets the ticket will Atiku agree to partner with him or break away
That is the most important question for the entire coalition

For now, Most of the coalition are Northrners, Will they be Okay with it if Atiku does not win the ticket and fully support Obi

Unlike in the days of APC, It was clear that it was a coalition to give Buhari the platform to be president
Atiku will obviously be the candidate.

Age is not on his side. At least, make e chop one term, and die in peace and joy.

If you say Nigeria has always been bad and people complained and then still voted for OBJ twice, voted Jonathan 1.5x then it applies to why they voted buhari twice.

Coz left for me, the decision for 2015 was easy. People were very much alive during buhari's tenure, the data from Jonathan's tenure was there to interrogate. Nobody can claim they didn't have access to information because the internet was very much open 2015.

People simply allowed themselves to be deceived. I'm not saying GEJ was perfect but again the data and available information supported him.
But hey, that's just me.
No sir, you are wrong there.

So just like today, those who wanted a different regime grew astronomically

2007 - YarAdua got 24 million votes, while Buhari got 6 million

18 million difference

2011 - GEJ got 22 million, while Buhari got 10 million

12 million difference.

People were tired, and it took Tinubu and the others to come together, and gather themselves, so they can have all the oppositions on one side. That's how they flung GEJ out.

The results always showed that people were tired of PDP. Check the rise in the opposition figures.

Nigeria has always been bad. There was no time we actually sat down over drinks and thanked God about how Nigeria was good. It's not true

People actually wanted change from PDP. People were tired. So yes, PDP losing as at 2015 was obviously going to happen.

The main question is how these same people saw where Buhari was heading, and overwhelming voted for him in 2019. And that was when we lost it. Infact, Buhari did more damage in the last 4 years, than in the previous one.
