Yes, I believe they have in most places. Generally, they put markings on the road as well as signs before a roundabout.

I with you on this one. There is a traffic sign for literally everything here. There would be big sign on that bridge from the entrance of the bridge and the exact area where it occurs, especially, if the it has been observed that people are making turns that endanger lives. They would not leave it to the judgement of humans because not every one drives defensively.

The municipality or City, depending on who maintains the road will install and maintain the sign. They may decide to put a light that allows for U turn or flat out ban it because that median doesn’t allow for safe UTurns. They can also extend the median further past the bridge to ensure no one is attempting a U-turn on the bridge which is dangerous by the way.

The only issue I have is that, the sign was installed by citizens and not the appropriate authority that regulates traffic in Lagos (LATSMA, I believe).

Consequently, road users may refuse to follow the sign because, it is not exactly backed by law. LATSMA or the appropriate agency that manages that road, need to put the sign and include violations, this way it is backed by law and penalties can be enforced.

But I definitely understand why the citizens took it upon themselves to install the sign. Again, like I have always said, we have very weak institutions in Nigeria.
Sorry to ask

But is there a big sign to explain to road users on how to use roundabouts in the Obodo Oyibo?

That is why izzou's paddy guy failed the test in a civilised clime. It is expected that drivers will show a reasonable level of thinking and drive in ways that will not endanger anyone. Do you need a sign against one way? Do you need a sign to wear your seat belt? A warning so you don't drink and drive?

Do you need to be told to drive below 20km /hr in a residential area?

Some people(mostly strangers) probably don't know there's no turning there , hence the reason people who do erected a visible sign there.

I hope u know it is not everybody that plies a particular road know where to turn and where not to.

There's one like that around ICM in Ikeja but there's a sign there warning road users not to turn there. At least if the sign at this particular place in the video is visible, nobody will claim ignorance of the law.

Why did they pull the sign down?
You can make a case for the damaged sign and structure, without justifying the irresponsibility of these drivers.

A roundabout is a roundabout in Lagos, Ekiti, Gombe and Texas.

To turn at a roundabout, you go round it. How can you say someone is not aware?

If the government needs to start putting billboards to educate people on using Roundabouts, then we better start reissuing Driver licenses again.

Anybody wey dem chop obviously has money in his pocket to dash police. There is no reasonable excuse to illegally use a roundabout, especially when it is free.

Police has always been exploiting people for illegally turning mile 2 bridge .

Concerned citizens decided to erect a signboard warning fellow citizens it is an illegal U-turn in order to avoid further police exploitation.

Guess what ? The signboard has been removed and the bridge damaged in the process of its removal .
How is it exploitation when the person is intentionally breaking the rule?

A roundabout is clearly in your front. You leave the roundabout and turn at the beginning.

There's no traffic on the bridge. It's a new bridge, but people are so impatient to spend 5 seconds around it. As you no gree get patience, make Police help you chop your money

That's not Mile 2 though. It's the bridge connecting Alaba Oro to Second Rainbow

Nope he is a learner who just got lucky

An experienced fraudster will not send money to Binance which has KYC (Know your Customer)

They will send it to Tornado for mixing, or send it to Stake.com and stake on some obvious things like Chelsea to beat ES Tunis or Bayern to beat Auckland. Stake will now pay them to any wallet of their choosing and the audit trail is lost.

This is most likely his first successful scam of any size that's why he sent to Binance
What if the transfer to Binance was to get the FBI off their backs?

What if Mr Aigbokhan doesn't know them at all? The report says the account was created since 2024, and no transaction has even happened there.

Maybe they just dumped some funds there, so Mr Aigbokhan can carry their cross grin

Yahoo boy was able to make over N460m through phishing attack targeted at donors for Trump's inauguration. FBI was able to freeze about N60m out of the funds and currently seeking to arrest him. I guess that means the yahoo boy and his cartel were able to launder N400m before FBI could stop them between December 26 2024 when they received the funds and December 31 2024 when FBI froze their wallets.

How exactly did these boys launder N400m within 5 days ? shocked

In all honesty, I’m a bit disappointed by you and your takes today. Next time, instead of making assumptions on my behalf, it’s better to ask me to clarify my position before running with any agenda you can latch onto. If you had followed my conversation with Spy closely, you would’ve noticed that I was asking different questions to understand why he supports the coalition and believes it can only work with his preferred candidate, Peter Obi, as the flag bearer. But you, who joined the conversation towards the end, picked a part of my post and have gone ahead to concoct all sorts of narratives. No wahala. When I have the time, I’ll respond to some of the points you raised in both your previous post and this one.
This is the post I quoted. You can clearly see that I bolded the part I disagreed with. I did not debate with you on whether Obi can or cannot rule Nigeria well, or change it in 4 years.

I only pointed out that the responsibility of party challenges is unfair to be heaped on one man; especially someone who clearly is nothing more than their presidential candidate; Not a founding father, not a Chairman.

I don't know where your disappointment is coming from, when from the onset, I told you what I was commenting on.

Atiku will not decamp to ADC to be what? He cannot even be a VP.

Firstly, you were the one who butted into a conversation I was having with Spy and claimed I made a wrong statement.

Secondly, there’s a reason I referenced both Kenneth Okonkwo’s and DonJ’s positions on leadership in the first paragraph of that post, not my personal position. There’s also a reason I’ve repeatedly asked you to share your thoughts on Kenneth’s interview without conflating issues.

Lastly, I find your last paragraph disingenuous. Abeg, could you point me to any posts I’ve made today or in the past on Obi that support what you’re claiming in that paragraph?
Maybe you haven't discovered this thread then, but DonJ said Obi was weak because he refused to lead protests and shut the country down

DonJ said Obi was supposed to oppose the Supreme Court ruling on crowning Tinubu as President. It is very well documented here.

Everyone who called Obi "weak", is always hammering on him taking power since he's the popular kid. Why is Abure and Apapa not calling him "Weak"?

If you are simply upholding DonJ and Kenneth's opinion, then you are indirectly supporting a Wike-styled leadership, of which Obi is the opposite of.

I am asking again. Is there any part of Kenneth's interview you would like to ask about? I have already given you my opinion

I have given you my take.

If you have any personal question from the interview, feel free to ask.

I am not here to convince you that Obi is a strong leader. I am only questioning why you think being responsible, not crossing people, and disobeying court order should be a sign of strong leadership
