No business model, no strategy, no real explanation — just divine deposit alerts. The moment the interviewer tried to dig deeper, she switched to emotional blackmail mode — voice cracking, eyes welling up, like she was about to cry. Man had to back off and change the topic. |

TemporaryHansel: For someone to drop 400m on a car, best believe they’re sitting on at least 800m to 1b. Let’s be serious — the wig market is oversaturated. There’s no way you're pulling in that kind of profit just from flipping hair. But trust emotional people to miss the plot. They're on X yelling, “Do you know how many years she’s been selling wigs?” like time alone prints money.
Most of the people defending that lamba clearly have no clue what 400m actually is. They talk like it’s 4m. That's the problem with 90% success stories today. Many cannot be replicated because na lamba. You'll see someone say they became a billionaire by selling perfumes. The person won't tell you that he sold a land and got the commission, or he washed money into the system and took his cut, or he did one deal here or there. That's why many Nigerian billionaires have no process in their stories. They just wake up and tell you they jumped from Rags to Riches. If that lady was selling hair for years, the pattern would be there. Hair sellers will know her. She would be at the top of her game. |

I know we've made an argument about billionaires not existing in Computer Village before, today it's hair sellers...which business do you think people can become billionaires from, strictly through buying and selling? However Bro try enter those Naija fashion shops Ikoyi Lekki Ph1 and see the prices, their target audience pay those prices. I am less inclined to believe she got the car doing OS, other options dey ground, including her hair business. Veekee James is a content creator. We can say she earns from YouTube, Facebook, IG, TikTok Also, Fashion designing is a creative business. Your creativity is what determines your value. So, it is not ordinary. Any business that is a craft is never ordinary, and cannot be compared to Trading. Food, Fashion designing, Furniture making, etc are determined by the craft. So there's no premium to the price at all Someone who sells hair is ordinary. It is a buy and sell business. You can only package it with your outlet, or branding... Nothing more Hair business is very saturated. Anybody and everybody can import from Vietnam, Brazil, or China. Go to Trade fair, and see every Tom, Dick, and Harry hawking all kinds of hair in your face, including the 3 million naira hair The probability that the hair business gave her that wealth is 0.0000000001%. BlueRayDick: Baba, those ladies have expenses too.
For example the vendor ur daughter patronized will be located in a cosmopolitan part of Lagos where she will be paying rent to the tune of millions. She will buy diesel almost every day to power her store/shop, she will have staff she pays salaries too and they also pay influencers millions for advert to maintain visibility.
It's not like they make those millions and don't spend out of it at all. Anybody who can pack over N350m to buy a Cybertruck in this Nigeria will definitely have more than double of that stored somewhere as savings. I don't think that's the case with these ladies in question. Plot Twist: She may not even own the Cyber truck. Everything might just be PR to trend, either to get clients for her hair, or her other "hair" Since when content creation start, I'll rather believe Satan, than most of the nonsense on SM. |

BlueRayDick: I'm not saying road blocks should be mounted on Gbagada road or any other road o, I am only pointing it out that at times that road block we destest could've made the difference(if it is used well by the security agencies).
I am one person who normally detest police stop and search on normal state roads and trunk C roads. One day I was complaining and a friend of mine said the police actually make arrests via thos roadblocks which are grossly under reported. He said he has been at a police station when they brought in suspected robbers who were arrested inside Keke Napep with Locally made pistol found in their possession after random stop and search. One of the police officers now said that is actually not the first, second or third arrest of that manner they are making since the year started.
I know Naija police dey hustle for themselves with that their road blocks o, but dem dey also take criminals out of circulation too. So, for me, what will deter people to stop crime is if they know they will be caught; and that is Nigeria's problem. I watch a lot of videos abroad. Crimes are bound to happen. From robberies, to shootings, it happens even daily there. But there's an effective system that ensures whoever is caught Over here, checkpoints are now avenues to cause more problems than good. You can spend as much as 10 minutes on our expressways at checkpoints, because Police is trying to collect 500 naira, and the driver has 200. The case of rampant one chance vehicles is not the absence of checkpoints. It's the absence of an effective, controlled system for registering and coordinating road transport systems and means. Anybody can just carry a vehicle and start carrying passengers. I hope her checkpoint prayer is not answered sha. As that road dey free, I like am like that. |

BlueRayDick: I guess most people are angry with the current state of things , but they are failing to see how it could've been worse.
I watched a video recently on Youtube in which one lady was interviewed by Lucky Udu to share her "one chance" experience. The Lady narrated how she boarded a vehicle on a Monday morning to work on the Island ; unfortunately for her the vehicle turned out to be "one chance". She was driven all over Gbagada, Anthony, Ikeja etc in the early hours of the morning while the criminals were hitting her legs with hammer to force her give her banking app password and ATM pins at gun point.
At the end of the day, the lady was badly injured and lost her savings to the criminals. One thing she said that caught my attention was that she was pissed there was no police checkpoint on the roads while she was being driven around Lagos and being attacked by the criminals. She felt if there had been checkpoints mounted maybe around Gbagada or Ikeja axis, they would've busted the criminals who held her in their car against her will.
Now, I have been frequenting that route for a while now and I remember like 2 to 3 years ago there used to be some special police tactical unit that do mount roadblock around Charley Boy bus stop on that Gbagada axis. Most times people cuss them for causing unnecessary slow-moving traffic due to their "stop and Search". It was ironic hearing the lady wish those same policemen we used to cuss mounted the road blocks we love to hate. Abeg abeg, we don't need that kind of prayer now. There are over 40 Checkpoints from Ijebuode to Benin, yet almost every week, kidnappings and robberies happen back to back. The only problem with crimes in Nigeria is that they cannot be solved. That's my issue with our Police. Nobody should mount any checkpoint along Gbagada abeg. We like am like that |

diggz: Exactly! No remote work allowed here—he should go back to his own country to practise the nonsense he’s preaching. If you look closely, he’s probably living off whatever benefits the Italian government has provided him, all while campaigning for nonsense. Once again, this situation reflects some of the broader consequences the West is facing as a result of its involvement in destabilising the Middle East.
By the way, the Italian Prime Minister’s decision on this matter partly reflects the stance taken by the Polish government: zero acceptance of refugees and zero tolerance for those who wish to live in their country while attacking its faith or its people. I watched a video where a Muslim guy was threatening another guy that someday, Muslims will be have more population in Canada, and then, they'll impose Sharia on everyone People will definitely migrate. But when you make it an agenda to include conquering and terrorism, you need to go back to your roots. Even when the West left Afghanistan for good, they still ran away. You can blame the West for instability there, but you cannot blame the West for their radicalism. I really hoped his deportation was swift. |
