You remember that case in which that Police CSP disobeyed Sanwoolu in 2022 when they Came to demolish that Magodo phase Ii estate? Yes, that case started 38 years ago and up till now those Landlord's don't have their land back..
Na who never see case go dey shout " Let's go to court" Go to Federal prisons and see men spending 5 years on Awaiting trial. Just to get a date for trial oh, years don pass. God forbid that I should pick the court as my first option. |

raumdeuter: The court will teach you that its better to solve your problems rather than come to them I get one former classmate in Naija that is going through a divorce, its been like 7yrs of come today, adjourn tomorrow, Judge strike next week. The guy was like he wants this case to be sorted before he moves to another relationship. I am like you go tay for there.
The majority of people moving to new relationships don't bother going through court wahala
Imagine a woman who initiated divorce at 33yrs will almost reach menopause before the court decides on the case and for her to move on Na why some couples wey dey go through dvorce dey "Mistakenly" impregnate themselves again
By the time the case is finished both husband and wife go on spend millions on lawyer fees Spy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. my church bought a parcel of land and somehow, the family tried to play a fast one on them. The church was willing to go to court. Na lawyer wey dey inside church advise them to settle the matter. Not because the church won't win, but it will cost the church years and other resources. See the guy that sued P square to court for collecting performance fee without showing up. Na after 10+ years, e win the case. |

Go through the courts.
Idiots fear court pass police.
If someone dey owe you money, get a lawyer to write him. Then sue him to court for any reason. He will agree to settle out of court. You have no idea of what you're suggesting By the time you spend 5 years on the case, with your lawyer collecting his 150k everytime he appears in court for you, na you go settle yourself out of court |

When the expense wan wounjure person, nobody teach us to drop the case and forgive and forget One time I was at the station for a case. So there was another case. The guy used his boss car to snuggle rice, and Customs impounded the car. BlueRayDick: There's this Yoruba comic actor Jigan that has been trending since he joined TikTok in the last quarter of last year. Las week I watched a TikTok live he hosted where he brought another comic act ; Amuda Eko and that one narrated a police case he once had.
Amuda and one other egbon that usually act comic scenes on Yoruba movie bought a fairly used phone in Isale Eko not knowing it was a stolen phone. The police tracked the phone and had both nollywood guys arrested as being receivers of stolen goods. After spending days in detention, the guy who was the real thief was also Tracked down and joined them in the cell.
The nollywood guys got a lawyer who later posted their bail after which they were asked to report daily while the investigation was still ongoing on the case. The police then told them the items stolen in the victim's house during the robbery (which they were nkt involved in) was over 20m and they will have to contribute that amount or risk jail term. They negotiated downward and later arrived at an agreement with the police that they will be paying ₦200k every Friday towards the settlement of that agreement.
The original robber claimed he has no money and opted for them charge him to court (since he has nothing to lose). After making the payment the first week, Amuda was running around to make the second week payment when he suddenly saw the robber at Idumota as a free man.
Amuda called the robber by name and the guy even answers. He asked him how come he's a free man when they left him in police cell? Then robber told him the court freed him the police didn't present a water tight case and he's now back on the street. The guy say he Wan mad. It took him and the other other guy weeks to gather courage and tell the police they are not going to abide by the yeye agreement o because they can't be paying a debt they didnt owe while the real robber is a free man. It was then they knew it was the police that was just deliberately extorting them. Na this kind case Policemen dey fight to be IPO |

TemporaryHansel: Bro, most of these northerners don’t see southerners as humans at all. Or how should I even put it, they feel their lives are more special. If you see what they’re posting on x/twitter you’ll lose any form of sympathy you had for the people that were killed in edo recently. Let the reverse be the case and you’ll see how same northerners will be singing a different tune. We shouldn’t reward wickedness and inhumanity with kindness. Inhumanity should be matched with equal inhumane tactics. We have allowed these mfs play with southern lives for too long. Bros, I understand you. But I am first a human being before I am Igbo, or a Southerner or a Nigerian. What is bad is bad, and there should be no justification for why these guys should die. There's nothing to compare here. It's a very terrible and regrettable incident. Secondly, the issue with the double standard-ness is not a Northern problem. It is a Southern problem. The person that swore to protect the Southern people are Southern governors. When a Fulani herdsman kills innocent people, what exactly do they say? Nothing. They have no strict laws to implement sanity in our states. When people die, they move about to other issues. You cannot be angry that the Northern Governors are not concerned about a Southerner dying, when your own Southern governor will not even say a word. Of all the killing in Uromi, what did Edo governor do or say? But we want Kano state governor to talk? My own stance is that the events of today can make one crave for jungle justice, and we should know when not to cross that line. No one deserves to die brutally, over nothing. |
