I don't have a dog in this fight but saying Edo women aren't beautiful is like saying, sun doesn't shine in the Sahara Desert.
Also, a lot is happening in Kwara we tend to conflate lowcost of living with lack of economic activities. Kwara is a border state and a lot of business activities are taking place, the conservative nature of the people makes it look nothing is happening on the economic front.
I don't know about now, but as at 3 - 4 years ago, there was serious lack of economic activities

Kwara was the first place I saw a shopping mall in the heart of the capital and close to the airport, having empty stores looking for tenants. The next state I saw that was Ebonyi.

As at that time, I entered bike of 150, and there were distances of 50 naira with cabs.

I bought BBQ fish for 2k, and it's not like people were rushing it sef. E just dey there.

I don't want to talk about the struggle of finding a vehicle from SS and SE states to Ilorin.

Maybe there is A LOT going on now oh. But as at then, nothing worthy of interest (in my opinion)

The data is actually referring to IGR generated by local governments and not IGR generated by state.

What that means in essence is that LGs in Ebonyi makes more internally generated revenue than local governments in Rivers state. It can happen if the LG chairmen in Rivers state don't declare accurately the IGR they make while Ebonyin LGs do theirs diligently.

Another thing is most of the oil facilities in Rivers state may not be obliged to pay any form of rates and fees to Local governments.
I understand the data

And I am simply asking what LGs in Ebonyi raised 6 billion?

Rivers does not have only Oil producing facilities as it's business. PH is far bubbling than the whole Ebonyi put together.

6 billion indeed

LGs like Eti Osa, Ojo(where Alaba international dey), Lagos Island, Alimosho, Ikeja (where Industrial estates dey), mushin (where Ilupeju industrial estate dey) and Oshodi Isolo (where Ladipo market) can even account for the N10 billion sef in matters of days nit months ..... 😁

I don't doubt Ebonyi raising that 6 billion rather I believe Lagos state understated that 10 billion figure. I think most states actually do Sha
Maybe Lagos is understated, but you see that Ebonyi?? cheesy cheesy cheesy

Ebonyi pass Rivers? grin

These politicians will not kill us with lamba

Fun fact: First bank has about 5 branches in Ebonyi state. Not a yardstick though, but I wonder the kind of commercial activities they did, that raised 6 billion

At least let them show they value their fellow black man's life they way they value a whiteman's

Most likely the US Government must have initiated diplomatic measures to ensure they are not killed.

Considering what they might be gaining from the USA, it would be hard to insist otherwise

So it's barely protested now? Why will Sowore not protest Obasanjo whom every activist love to call a military stooge back then. OBJ was even the easiest target to protest against because of his military ways of ruling
Sowore is a recurring theme with every and any protest in Nigeria. Sowore lives for protests. Sowore was arrested at NUGA 98 even though he was no longer a student, If wives decide to protest husband's Sowore will join. If Cherubim are protesting against Celestial Sowore will join. Sowore even aligned with Nnamdi Kanu just to find a reason to protest. Someone like that will now see an OBJ govt with many reasons to protest and not join?
Maybe some people thought they just discovered the act of protests that people like Gani, Sowore have made their own life calling.
Nobody said Sowore was scared of OBJ

All Blueraydick said was that we didn't see him protest like this during that time. He is probably right.

If you say he's wrong, there should be at least 2 that we can find from 2003 to 2007.

You are the one trying to defend something that may truly not exist.

Sowore protesting where? Do you have picture and video of every protest Sowore has done in his life? As long as you don't have the video it never happened
This is what someone in that age range also and someone who dealt with him personally said about him but did it stop anyone from running their agenda
Where did Blueraydick say Sowore wasn't a modern version of Gani?

The man barely protested against the government then, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Even you, that can remember every throw in and corner kick in USA 94, is suddenly struggling to remember one of the numerous protests that happened then

I am waiting for you to show us the reviews from his Ex girlfriend from uni days grin

The only problem here is that the guy appears to be indifferent about the lady’s denomination and would’ve gone ahead with the marriage but for his mum’s insistence . The fact that he stayed in the relationship that long showed he doesn’t really mind.

Dancing the his mother's tune eventually just shows He lacks conviction and will always defer to others for when making decisions....

Even if that guy marries another woman from his denomination ( which he will eventually), he will still have issues in his marriage which will be centered around his mother and wife trying to exert their respective influences on him.

This matter wey I see so goes beyond religious orientation.
Since he has no courage to make his own decisions, he should go and marry in his Church

At least, a marriage will happen (Mummy will approve). With someone else, it won't

After the marriage, him and the unlucky wife should manage themselves
