Obi campaigned for GRV, Attah and all LP candidates in Lagos state, was that meddling?

Why must Obi be careful about aligning and campaigning for a LP candidate? Should Tinubu also be careful about campaigning for APC candidate?

The hypocrisy of some in the Obidient movement dey amusing
It is not even amusing!

You are dragging a party member for supporting his party member?

I don't even know what else is left in this country

States affair us different from the FG..

And different states have their different agenda wch Obi must not meddle in...

He would align with any LP candidate and must be careful about it......

Going all blazing to push some words could make him loose the people that doesn't agree with the utterance..

In all...but the good d bad and d wicked in the Obidient camp are still with him on National level, trying to distance himself by selecting the good only would make him loose d bad n d ugly
It is only in Nigeria that you can belong to a party and be campaigning in another party.

How did Obi meddle with Edo politics? He is in LP, and supported the candidate of LP..

How can we be calling something that is normal, "abnormal"?

He started business at the age of 9 and later became a business tycoon.

His first business was selling firewood.

He was publisher and Chairman of Concord Press of Nigeria Limited.

He was also a Chief Executive of a Nigerian radio station.

I'm just asking how he can maintain that while attending to the needs of 40 women and children respectively

He is not saying anything we don't know. Abiola had a lot of wives and a lot of concubines.

He has obviously missed out on the bulk of the man's fortune and has now decided that soiling his fathers legacy for clout is the only way he can get back at Kola and co

This is also the legacy of polygamy.
True!

I am yet to see what is beneficial in polygamy.

Most of the time, it never ends well

Lol. They usually have an independent vendor/contractor for diesel supply.

Sometimes, the FIeld service engineer (FSE) on site are guilty of diesel theft. lipsrsealed

But yes, anyone suspected for diesel theft is usually investigated, arrested or sacked in most cases.
Years back, i was on a team to design a solar powered system for MTN sites. John Holt was facilitating and financing it. We started and finished it at their HQ in VI

We finished the project but a lot of factors didn't let it see the light of day.

That was the first time i knew people were benefitting from Diesel supply/theft both legally and illegally

You are preaching to the choir bro. I work with a company that has a full fledged logistics team. On a personal level I've also dealt with logistics companies in the past.

I know there are complexities in their operations and that's why companies outsource these things. Now U won't outsource just becuase u want to transfer ur headache but u will ensure the outsourcing is economically advantageous on ur part.
Maybe a more better phrase, but if you say "Cheaper", i don't think so.

Even if you create a subsidiary for yourself, you have just shifted your problems to another address.

I agree it is economically advantageous
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 4:23pm On Jun 19, 2024
BlueRayDiick:
What I'm saying is that ur subsidiary reports to the Group MD. The Group MD and the board can set the Logistics MD's KPI such that he will be expected to reduce to barest minimum the costs associated with running the subsidriary. Such savings in cost is definitely coming from saving diesel cost.

If the model is not working, why do u think more companies are embracing it?
Many companies embrace outsourcing their distribution because it saves a lot of headache.

Have you been to a Logistics yard before?

Apart from those in the offices, you have mechanics, Drivers, Rewires, Vulcanizers, Procurement stores, and others.

If you decided to run this yourself, you will have all these on your payroll, and will have to pay attention to all. That is why they easily find who will handle the headache.

Outsourcing doesn't mean it is cheap. The subsidiary you created for this will still pay all these people and buy parts..

I never siad they don't need diesel for fueling trucks na, obviously they will need either diesel or CNG to power trucks.

Check my response to Amoto, for multinationals that don't outsource distribution of their busines; some of them set up a whole new subsidiary for logistics . This subsidiary will have a functional management that will make sure the logistics arm of the business is a profit center like the rest of its subsidiaries and not just a cost center.

When the MD logistics has his KPI tied to the profitability of let's say BUA Logistics; won't he devised every means possible to reduce fuel theft to the barest minimum?
You are saying the same thing differently.

Because you outsource to your own subsidiary doesn't relieve you totally from it. Your subsidiary will still charge you like an outsider.

Diesel matter is complex oh. Some companies just add some litres for theft, because it is hard to crack.

So what they do is give the driver an extra 50 litres for the journey..At least thief small and let us rest grin
