Quoting from the YouTube you posted

Anambra State has poverty decline from 53% under Peter Obi to 14.78% as at last year

I have not joined any discussion on what Obi did as governor or not.

My belief is that he was the best of the three.

And Funnily enough, it is how the two loudest, only and most vocal supporters of Tinubu are based abroad.

Na only una two dey praise Tinubu and drag Obi, while the rest just keeps viewing.

Nilistjnr says the same thing and he didn't support anyone. Popiano too. There are people who saw Nigeria as irredeemable and stood by it.

You supported Tinubu. After a disastrous and one year and a hopeless 3 more years, you come back and say nobody can change Nigeria.

Shebi the one with evidence is ruling now.

Even you that supported him have started shifting posts with compass. Suddenly, Obi and Tinubu and Flora Shaw cannot change Nigeria. grin

The bold is a very moot point which is invalidated by the spate of bank robberies in Nigeria in recent times . Since around 2014 to this year, we’ve seen a pattern of robbery incidents whereby armed robbers (despite knowing how banks are well guarded) carry out large scale bank robberies .

They literally lit up the nearest police police stations which are well guarded with armed officers, then proceed to sack various banks with heavy shelling. At least this has happened in Kogi state multiple times , Ekiti state multiple times, Benue state , Offa Kwara state, etc to mention a few .

The robbers are aware of the level of resistance that the security agents in the banks and even the first responders can pose and they plan well ahead for it.

That should tell u that u having a gun to fight back won’t stop the criminal , but it will only make him more vicious in his attacks . One of my bosses used to say “ U can’t predict the mind of a criminal “. U can’t sit down as a law abiding citizen and start saying maybe if u do this( like carrying a gun on u) , the criminal will not attack u.
I just tire!

Why do you think those kidnapped people never thought it will be a great idea to beg the kidnappers

Or if they begged, how many of them that begged have been released based on the volume of tears or mercy from the kidnappers

Those killed by kidnappers you think they didn't beg hard enough
More people have been released alive than killed

True or False.

Even the tweet that brought this talk showed that the guy has been released.

What is the goal of ISWAP? If its to collect ransom or kill then will anyone be alive? ISWAP wants you to convert and join them in their struggle for whatever and once you do that they spare you

Do you think telling kidnappers that I have confessed kidnaping as my profession, i will join you from today and become a fellow kidnapper "
see if they will let the person live
I don't know if they will let me live, but i am willing to take that risk.

My goal is to live, not to kill 500 and still die.

How has that been working for the people in Plateau, Kaduna Benue etc

I remember the trial of Zamani Lekwot, his main crime against the Fulani was that he armed his own people. That act got the Fulani people upset. How dare you have a weapon to defend yourself instead of just laying down and wait your turn

Why do herdmen slow down when they know Ebubeagu or Amotekun are around vs a village they know everyone is depending on prayers
I can also make the same arguement for ISWAP.

Villages who surrender to them get to live. The ones that fought back get to count casualties (mostly our uniformed men)

My goal is to live, not to kill 20 robbers and get shot by the 21st one.

I'll rather bet on begging them to let me live, than shooting 2 and still get killed.

Back in the days, Coaches and Luxury buses usually travel with an armed escort to protect them from robbers

Well, it made it worse and they had to stop.

The robbers didn't have the patience to stop the bus and rob. They opened fire immediately they saw one.

The fact that you have no weapon on you gives you a higher chance to survive.

This is why I see izzou as a strong man with the way he hops on the road travelling the length and breadth of this insecure country .

This thing has been happening rapidly since Buhari's first term but it has been grossly under-reported in the media. Countless people die at the point of abduction, others die in custody while only few live to tell the story after their loved ones manage to raise the ransome.

There's this program on Agidigbo FM anchored by Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat. One lady who was a victim like these guys in the video came on that program and narrated her experience. Her parents had gone to the program earlier to report she was missing, and they actually suspected her igbo friend whom they both hustled together at a supermarket in Abuja.

It was when she was released that she now came to the program to clear the air that she was actually abducted by Fulani herdsmen and it had nothing to do with her friend. She left her base in Abuja to go look for another Job in Enugu but later discovered the Enugu job was not really worth it, so she decided to go back to Abuja and continue with her job there. Unfortunately for her, around Kogi state the armed men shot at their bus, killed the driver and few people and then matched them into the forest.

She was held for weeks and couldn't call her parents in Ibadan cos she knows they don't have the kind of millions those guys were requesting for ransom. They beat them daily and fed them only Garri once a day. The kidnappers had to tie her release to that of another girl in their custody whose father was a pastor. The pastor paid ransom for his daughter and herself and that was the only reason she was released. She narrated how some of them even died in the kidnappers custody.

Omo! This country don go .
My last experience was fearful.

I never travel since that time, although i have one urgent one now.

Na God's mercy i dey hope on now oh.
