Your best service will be at tier 1 Prvate hospital where not all can afford
The next best is govt hospital and regarding the staff attitude, When you see the number of people vs the number of staff you will realize why
Maybe 100 patients to 10 nurses and 3 doctors all in pains and needing care immediately

Those private hospital for story building cannot have the equipment needed and in complex cases they will still send you to govt hospitals, In most of them they have maybe 3 doctors. and of those 3 maybe 2 are even part time, few nurses and some Auxilliary nurses like the ones wey treat Mohbad

So any case above normal prescription, anything that involves a procedure its better at govt hospitals
True...

The manpower is too little for the patients, and one can expect them to be toxic.

Go to Zenith bank in Victoria Island and the same one in Oke-Arin in Lagos Island. There would be a big difference in how they attend to you.

The one in VI may just have paperworks to attend to, and may have time on her hands. The one in Lagos may have to count tattered 200 and 100 notes all day.

One dey vex. The other one dey calm.

Government hospitals are shitty but 95% of privates do not come close. If one has an illness that would be procedural, go tier 1 or go Government, especially for your good

Winning election is beyond just voting as we have seen in the last election. Opposition parties have to unite as one to make it more difficult to rig. The goodwill of Obi plus the reach of Atiku was the winning formula required in the last election.
Election is for one day; the consequences is for 4 years.

If anybody endures sufferings for 4 years, and thinks he needs a special combo to vote for, na him loss be that.

If Obi does not merge, is this enough reason for a poor, suffering Nigerian to vote APC in 2027?

15 million voted APC in 2019. 8 million voted for APC in 2023.

Obi and Atiku split their votes, yet APC lost 7 million voters in 4 years.

If Obi and Atiku like, they should merge. If the people never tire for suffer, APC go win

If APC of 2023 is telling you that PDP of 2013 was the last time Nigeria witnessed economic prosperity, why should someone vote the party in 2027?

If Obi likes, he should not merge with Atiku. Let us go in 2027 and vote APC, then come back and wish Obi merged with Atiku again.

This talk of Obi merging with Atiku is funny to me.

Why it is, is because 99.99% of the people that say this voted Tinubu. Obi merging with Atiku would not have changed your mind. So, what is really the need for the assumption?

The Ikorodu General hospital suffers from lack of manpower. The day my wife had miscarriage, it was only one doctor on round that day for the entire mother and child unit. It man was already overworked and tired sef by the time it got to our turn.
Many government hospitals are like that. Shebi Unlimited22 nearly faint because of work.

There are private hospitals better than government owned, but not much, Very few to be blunt

Because a building is one storey and has a Sienna converted to an ambulance parked in front, doesn't make it decent.

I will not blame anybody saying Government is shiityy...Its true. But if you will suggest a private hospital, be specific oh.

Many na to write prescription scripts and Insha Allah

Most of the doc in private hospital are from gov hospital...They gives different attitudes and listening ears to every single drop if complain in their respective private hospitals..

Where my wife gave birth 4 days ago,do you know that the nurse came as around 2 am to clean everything my wife messed up including washing my wife's pant..(yeah you heard me right)she washed her stained pants as well as cleaned up everything.....

Gently bath my wife ...bath d baby after cleaning his poo around 6 am d next day...always came to ask questions..infact slept in thesame ward with us..

I was dumbfounded cos I haven't seen something like that b4 except ofcourse in a movie..

The doc himself left London to permanently stay in Nigeria for his profession.

At times,,,a listening ears plays a major role in the recuperation of a patient
You are right.

But if i give you a listening ear, and i am not a professional or i don't have the equipments to treat you, of what use is the ear?

Government hospitals have no empathy, but bros, many private hospitals cannot be rated over them.

I mean...MANY

Baba every area get em own fair share of good hospitals , it’s affordability that is the issue . At least I’ve lived close to some of the areas u mentioned up there and I know the people there will know where to go to get good health care .

That lack of empathy is a major issue with the government hospitals .The value they place on human live is not much at all. I don’t think it’s majorly lack of staff and equipment . LASUTH and LUTH for example are well equipped with medical equipment and qualified personnel in different departments ; yet u go see shege there except u get “leg” to take fast track ur treatment .

Make person just pray to have money to be able to afford private hospital or hope his comapny has a good HMO plan like itsrm pointed out.
We are saying the same thing. My only issue with the talk is how you guys are suddenly placing Private hospitals above government. Naaah

Very few can be there. If you leave me, 90% are just clinics.

Most can't treat past Malaria and typhoid, then carry out deliveries. Just need a surgery, and you'll see them refer you to either an expensive private hospital, or the same government hospital that is shiit.

Many private hospitals are not decent. A 3 Function hospital bed is about 500k now. How many decent private hospitals have that? Let me not even go into other equipments that cost millions. Some medical equipments are up to $100,000

Anybody that wants to stone government facilities is right. But if you wan rate Private over am, state the class. A lot of them cannot match LG General hospitals sef

There are so many private hospitals that are very good and even though they are not up to dem St. Nicholas , Lagoon hospital , Reddington ,Eko Hospital etc standard . I’ve used a couple of them in the past and I can confirm some of them have equally good doctors ( mostly doctors who work government jobs also work in those hospitals as side hustle ).

Some of the advantages those private hospitals have over government hospital is the fact that u can walk in anytime and have ur health issues attended to. Nobody will ask u to first go and pick an appointment date to see the doctor . They are more empathic ( which is something that is lost in public hospitals ; till this day my mum still tell tales of the shege she saw at Ayinke House during childbirth )

I remember sometimes around early this year I had issues with my ear and had to go to the hospital to complain . Less than 20 mins after seeing the doctor , they had the ENT specialist check my ear and a procedure was carried out . I was relieved after a day or two using the oral drugs I was given . I can’t imagine the same situation playing out in a private hospital .

I co-saw shege with the rest of my family at LASUTH last year . The bureaucracy , lack of human kindness and care free attitude of government hospital health workers is a huge turn off for me . I will pick a decent private hospital above dem LASUTH any day anytime on general medicine issues
I already reiterated that the problem with government hospitals is lack of staff, equipments, and the pressure has removed every iota of empathy from the staff.

Asides that, they have more qualified staff than most private hospitals

There are not so many good private hospitals. Maybe you are using Lagos/Lekki eye to look at it.

Where are the many good private hospitals in areas like Badagry, Shibiri, Epe, Ojo, Kirikiri? But people will need to do CS there...So?

Health care is not cheap. Just browse the prices of medical equipments and you'll know that what we call "private hospitals" are just school clinics.

Decent private hospitals are not much. No use big man eye look this matter abeg
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 5:39am On Nov 10, 2023
Is it the increasing number of substandard private hospitals wey una dey eulogise?

Let us add levels to this thing.

Top private hospitals are okay; The Evercare, St Nicholas and some other expensive/affordable ones around us. But many private hospitals are death centres.

The major problem of government hospitals is the lack of equipments and manpower. The doctor(s) are more qualified than what most private hospitals parade.

LASUTH is a government hospital that is very okay.Even LUTH is okay, except for the lack of equipments. Nigerian Navy and Army Hospitals are okay too.

Make we no go praise private hospitals too much oh. Many are not better than roadside canteens

Even if manutd lose to Luton this weekend, I am 100% certain Ten Hag will not be sacked.

Of course football is an emotional game, and yes I understand the results have been so poor, but after sacking ragnick, ole, and mourinho, and the same useless players are still there, there is no better time to cut the manager some slack and let him be.

The players have no heart, they don't play for the badge

The directors and CEO are commercially inclined

But still I believe they have given Ten Hag at least three years to create his own team and cut off the weeds, but surely, I trust that ten hag will make a quick impact this season and make use of the January transfer window. He will gain a reputation and stay on for several years.

Success is closer than you've expected
