FASASI1: If not that you are a big fuu, listen to the way he talk as if he was there but no be new thing to me, na lie full you head.
Why do you like to fabricate lie ?? But it's not of my business what you think that went down that very day.
You are just out for the money and you don't care who you throw under the bus in the long run which is actually bad.
After the whole business I still called him to ask for price for plate number, I just wanted to use that to see if he will have a change of heart and try to be at least honest but guess what ?? He took the bait and fell yakata 😂 he said he did his own plate number for 60-70k I think, he said his car is tokunbo but for my car that's naija used, I should budget 85k for plate number 😂 ole, he thinks after what went down that very day, I will still patronize him for plate number again God forbid.
I later did the plate number for 35k.
Keep throwing people under the bus all in the name of business but in the long you will regret it. Big fuu You might have been scammed oh. |

Amoto94: Nigeria is broke anybody telling you otherwise is a big liar, for a start we need to reduce our recurrent expenditure that consist of salaries and overheads of various MDAs. We are spending scarce resources on unproductive workforce that's less than 20% of our entire production. The dilemma is politicians wont do this because they will be serious outrage which may cost you electoral victory ( cue in el-Rufai and Oyetola, even Yayaha Bello attempted to trim the wage bill that went unsuccessful) so many are afraid of taking the painful, difficult but necessary steps needed for sustainable growth and development. I'm an advocate of lean and efficient government but I understand the challenges to implement such in a country like ours where people see government as chop I chop venture Sorry sir, but i disagree with you. This is my masterpiece reply to you Forget borrowing. Borrowing is not a problem. |

Itsrm: I understand where you're coming from but if you indeed agreed to pay him 50k commission, then you're owing him 20k.
The amount the actual owner wants to sell the car is none of your business. You could have looked for the car yourself. Agents try to do this all the time. It's not morally right but I'm no moral police. Business is business
I have a land I've been trying to sell and one of the reasons I'm finding it difficult is because agents are inflating the price despite the fact that we have an agreed commission. I have no choice or I can try to sell it myself. If you tell an agent to sell a house for 5m for instance, the agent will put it at 5.5m and if he's lucky to pull it off, the extra 500k is his notwithstanding the commission you already agreed to pay him.
This is likely not what you want to hear but it is what it is. It depends You can tell an agent to sell a house for 5m and you'll give him 10% You can tell an agent to sell a house for 5m for you, and anything he adds on top is his own. I am not sure people give both offers at once. It has to be one |

Itsrm: I do agree with you that its a lot of work but you are underestimating what the telecoms giants had to do when they came on board.
Until recently, MTN had 10 switches across the country. Apapa, Ikoyi, Ojota, Benin, Ph, Ibadan, Owerri, Kaduna, Kano, Abuja. All of these switches are interconnected by fibre. To lay one kilometer of fibre can cost you up to a million depending on what you have to do.
Also, every other state without a switch had to connect to the switch through radio or fibre. PH switch for instace was serving Rivers State, Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom. Just try to picture the kind of massive infrastructure I'm referring to here.
It was a lot of work and cost a lot of money but it was achieved. If the telecoms operators can do it, I believe it can be replicated in the power sector.
And the good thing is, once one investor builds it, other generating companies will leverage on the infrastructure.
If Mainone for example has a service they want to deliver between PH and Lagos, they don't have to start laying their own fibre. All they have to do is pay MTN or any other major player to create a leased line for them and it's done.
Subsequent investors only have to bother about generation. They will leverage on existing transmission lines built by the first set of investors.
It is POsibble I used to hear that our current Transmission structure gave room for a lot of losses, and that is even part of the challenges of our power problems. Anything is possible sha. If to say i get money, na to buy land near all these organised estates Build a Solar plant and supply thy energy |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:13pm On May 02, 2023 |
GloriousGbola: Those 330kv and 132 kv lines and towers are for long distance transmission. The circuits traverse states. Within a state you can still transmit power at 33kv or 11kv from genco to disco.
I don't need to get to Epe. I only need to transmit from my genco to the nearest lkedc or ekedp distribution station. As a matter of fact in line with what you said I can build a 5mw power station in festac that would supply the festac distribution station directly. Ekedp pays me and they get power direct without any story Another angle |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:36pm On May 02, 2023 |
GloriousGbola: You are over complicating it. Ikedc and ekedp had to get their power from tcn. With it's load allocation, load shedding, decrepit infrastructure and system collapse every other month.
An analogy, rather than have goods delivered to you from across 100m the street, they had to be delivered 300km across a worn out trunk road that comes back to you. Because law. Now the law has changed and you can get your goods delivered from across the road.
Now they can get their power direct from egbin or from any new power station in their vicinity. I don't need to build a disco. All I need to do is build a genco company that will supply the disco.
The genco supplies the disco directly rather than through tcn and thier policies and decrepit infrastructure.
Before egbin etal would first transmit into nation grid and osogbo control would dictate power distribution
As I am seeing different stories of tcn cutting off discos I am laughing because it looks to me like the last agidi of a body that is losing a lot of its power and influence. Which transmission line do you want to use to supply to discos? If you generate 5MW in Festac, which transmission line would you use to send it to Epe? The one that TCN owns, or another one? Remember that the old Dam-TCN-IKEDC structure still exists. |

GloriousGbola: I beleive we will.
This has the same potential as telecoms liberalisation This one would require a lot og resources oh You will have to think of your own Generation, and transmission Then you’ll have to aggressively market it to consumers on why they should dump IKEDC and choose you. Then you have to put checks and balances in place to prevent energy theft and damage to equipments Omoh...This is far far different from Telecoms liberalisation |

liveLongNprospa: I've just gone through the feasibility study of oando clean energy and even they recognise the issues associated with EV in Nigeria. Costlier to acquire when compared to their fuel counterparts. They didn't specify the energy source but suggested the need for our genco and disco to do even more as we have limited electrical supply. As far as they are in Lagos, I'm sure the egbin plant supplies that electricity.. If they decide to use Gas then efficiency is the issue I have a problem with.
Also what does it cost in total to power those buses as against using fuel powered buses? (this question bases on your point about profit) coz I don't see Lagos making any profit from same bus fares as brt Die this gas matter ohh If Gas was cheap, many industries would have adopted it. And there is nothing wrong with the efficiency, or let me say I am not seeing what you are seeing 50 buses will not be releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. That's a step to going green. Abi this one no do you? |
