BlueRayDick: I want to get the point you are trying to make here; Where did you read that anybody is subsidizing the geometric power plant?
For all we know it is an independent power generating & distribution company that makes power available to industrial and individual customers.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with debt financing ; I'm yet to read anywhere that Afrexim bank is raising alarm about Geometric power plant not being able to service their loan facility.
So where exactly is the issue? GloriousGbola no wan take eye read anything Geometric oh |

My understanding is that there was a gentlemans agreement that Hamzat would take over after Sanwo finishes.
Then again, 8 years is a very long time in politics and tinubu has bigger fish to fry these days.
Succession after he retires is going to be wilder than any TV show. Lol I prefer Hazmat out of all APC has been selling. It also depends on the Senatorial Zone where it should go to. Hazmat na Epe man. |

I just always fear the incompetency that permeates all strata of the Nigerian workforce may rear its ugly head while we are either trying to take off or land at any Nigerian airport. It's scary Watched the video yesterday. The firetruck that caused the accident was just stupppeed.. You see plane dey speed dey come, you enter im front. The driver of the firetruck survived. BlueRayDick: @Iamoyindamola wassup with all these American TV series nowadays with the way they casually introduce LGBTQ agenda from nowhere?
Is it that the financiers of those series always insist they build in LGBTQ agenda into the movie/series plot before they give them access to funds or what?
For example, Designated Survivor; when they premiered the first season was pure political drama that was enjoyable without any agenda evident in its plot. By the third season they had introduced a Trans sister-in-law of the president and one black LGBTQ guy who works directly with the president creating content for him. They had started showing us video of the guy's same-sex relationship with another guy....etc.
I'm just like: "where is this coming from"?
This Tyler Perry's "Beauty in Black" too, one can tell he actually put serious efforts into developing the LGBTQ characters in the series; even when it's obvious the series would still make sense without all the LGBTQ characters in the series sef.
Not like there's anything one can do to change it o, but I'm curious as to whether it's the financiers that insist they carry the LGBTQ community along with their series/movies or whether it's the networks like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO etc that makes it mandatory for them. The Beauty in Black own too much |

BlueRayDick: As they cannot share rice in the UK nko? They have no choice but to share pounds na.
Over the weekend , a friend on his status posted the video of Tunde Bakare cussing Jonathan for removing subsidy at the ojota protest ground in 2012. Omo, that video was so bad.....It was repulsive seeing Tunde Bakare, Gani Fawehinmi's son(who is now late) , Femi Kuti and the rest of them hurling cuss at Jonathan and said it's either subsidy is returned or the country would be grounded.
Like these current APC leadership used the people's pains & sufferings to run their political agenda back then, today the same people's pain & suffering is not their concern. Their only solution to the mess they have made is to share rice ! . They go from one state to the other to share rice, they have made rice sharing a national policy.

Trump reminds me of the rich kid who owns a ball, can't play, nobody also wants to play with him, but feels he's intelligent and intellectual enough to lead. Movement through Hormuz is entirely a decision to be made by Shipping lines. If you like bomb Iran's nuclear plant, if the shipping lines consider it unsafe to pass, they won't pass, even without Iran firing a bullet. These guys run a business. They have their investment and lives to protect. How does bombing Iran again make them begin to pass Hormuz? When Trump bombs Iran, we will celebrate another masterclass from USA, then come back and buy Diesel for #5,000 per litre

swiz123: Is it that there are too many cars at these stations or CNG dispenses slowly? I want to know if converting is worth it since it’s 380 per SCM The way they fill the CNG is way different from how we buy petrol. One vehicle is allowed to the pump per time. There's no queue at the pump. All queues are outside the gate, or far away from the pump When it gets to your turn, they will do a quick inspection in your engine, to be sure it's safe to fill. After that, filling begins. You don fill gas nau. Just like the same process. If the machine doesn't have a high pressure, filling is slow. That's how the process looks like |

How is CNG coming along now. Are there enough filling stations selling it and any idea if they have queues at available stations.
Can one reliable travel inter state with CNG right now? Hmmmm There are not much stations in Lagos and Abuja dispensing CNG. The ones I have seen, the queues are highly discouraging. Satan help you if 3 trucks are in front of you, on the queue. For interstate, I have only seen trucks and luxury buses use them. My last trip to Abuja was with Ekeson Motors, and the bus used CNG. For interstate, I only see two stations in Ogun; One after Ijebu Ode, and another near Ikenne. After there, there's no other one I know unless maybe Benin Town. I also don't know the current price yet, but with the way Diesel/Petrol is increasing, CNG for be a savoir |

BlueRayDick: That’s not what he did . He confirmed the incident did happen , but tried to claim he was disciplined in line with the school’s disciplinary system .
By the time the guy has other ex-students come out to reveal how they were treated like criminals by the proprietor and his team of teachers , the judge will have no choice but to view them as violent individuals abusing students in their care .
The proprietor is saying because the guy’s parents who are lawyers settled with him back then over the incident , then it shouldn’t be an issue now and the guy shouldn’t be suing him. 🤡 So what if the proprietor lines up teachers and ex teachers debunking the story of the ex students? Will the judge still have a choice? My point is that it is very difficult to prove this. The case will drag for ages and it would be forgotten. I am also interested as to how he was physically assaulted so bad and his parents did nothing. 10 years ago was 2015, it was still a Woke era. How can someone beat your child so bad, and repeatedly do it for days, and his parents/guardian did nothing...Na wa! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:56am On Mar 21 |
BlueRayDick: I think this is the way to go . Victims of abuse all in the name of “discipline “ should be encouraged to seek redress against abusers who may pride themselves as “ disciplinarians “ and still boast about it .
This student is suing his school proprietor who battered him and inflicted severe injuries on him 10 years ago in the name of disciplining him .
The student allegedly referred to the propeietor as “Mumu “ , so the man flogged him for 2 hours straight , made him to roll in the mud , had dishwater poured on him ,kicked him and placed his foot on the student’s head .
For proper context the student was on a WhatsApp group where someone asked why he was offering Biology as a subject despite being an Art student . The student responded “Don’t mind that my mumu proprietor , he made all students offer Biology “…. Unfortunately for him that particular chat was shown to the proprietor (most likely by another student ) which later resulted to the incident in 2016.
Fast forward to 10 years after the student is suing baba for violating his fundamental human right to human dignity and that the humiliation affected him psychologically .
I support the student’s move and hope he gets favorable judgement so some of these teachers/school administrators can tone down on some of their corporal punishments which has led to permanent disability of some students in the past How easy is it to prove this? |
