I see you are among those that blame the Government for everything. When did creating jobs or developing the economy become the sole responsibility of the Government? You don't see the hypocrisy of talking about unemployment and lack of infrastructure in the country to his members yet he has the means to do something about it but decides to build even more churches
While creating jobs may not be the sole responsibility of a government, it is not the responsibility of a church to provide it

Let's not go back and forth abeg.

The person who promised you jobs is your government. It's that simple

What about non-winners members who feel the same way that building refineries/hospitals/schools will benefit winners members, rural areas and others more than building more churches?
Like you said, they (including me) can feel. That's all

But insulting them for not carrying out the duties of your government is not hypocrisy.

They are just like us too, normal Nigerians. They pay taxes, and they deserve the same rights that Trevor, you and I deserve

They don't owe us anything. Na Buhari we suppose drag

Do you know if the guy complaining here is a winners member who feels building refineries is better than building more churches that won't cater for unemployment or welfare for him and other members?
He didn't say so.

If he does, I'll apologize

Helping out to solve poverty and unemployment is actually the church business. The Christians in the New Testament shared all their belongings until no one was lacking. The book of deuteronomy also demands they use tithes and offerings for welfare.
I hope you also understand that no one was lacking amongst them...I mean amongst them

Oyedepo is responsible for his fold, not Nigeria...

We should learn to give the right advice to the right people.

If you need jobs, a refinery, good health care, call out those whose duties they are

I'm not a fan of the man, but I think it's unwise to drag them for whatever they choose to do with their money (them and their fold)

Trevor012:
Don't provoke me o.

Oyedepo "the proposed new churches would become solution centers for humanity where Christians can always gather to pray against the increase rate of unemployment, insecurity"...

Pray against unemployment when you can actually build refinaries or farms to help them but instead you want them to pray more. What rubbish is that.
Help who? grin

Did his members tell you then need help?

If they decide to use their money to build churches, what's the hypocrisy in that?

Instead of shouting "hypocrisy", you should respect their choices.

It's "THEIR MONEY", not "OUR MONEY"

Lols. Most Christians I know in Nigeria deny the highlighted as funny as their naivete or hypocrisy sounds.
grin grin

Irrespective of whatever motive he had behind it, I find it amusing that people always demand the dividends of good governance from them...I just don't understand

You can't tell a man how to spend his money

Come 2023, we would vote for PDP and APC, and then come and tell Oyedepo and Adeboye to bring $85 million for refinery

grin

The refinery in imo cost $85M. That money could build 5 refinary in Nigeria by next year and provide high paying jobs for his members and Value to the country but instead he is building more praying centers Nonsense.
The government is supposed to provide jobs for us, not churches, or mosques, or NGOs

He can decide to provide $1 trillion for praying centres. It is their money, not yours

Comot eye for another man business. Your money no dey there grin

Always vocal online, but are very docile in real life

See that one threatening a President of a country, because he enforced a law he made. But I'm sure his NASS member and senators are moving freely despite oppressing and abandoning his needs

Took a man to spar, the arrangement was to take him there and bring him back to his house where I picked him.

On getting there, he asked me to follow him inside. I say no wahala. As we got in, na so this man carry basket give me make I help am carry. I con carry basket o they follow am like im boy. We'll walk around, he'll pick things and put in them in the basket I was carrying grin

I knew what I was doing was stupid but two things got me going. 1. The man will definitely compensate me when we get to his house and 2. I didnt want him to give me a bad rating if I refuse to carry the basket. cheesy

To cut the long story short, we got back to his house, fare was 2500 or so and this man gave me the exact amount. Na there my eyes clear.

This man still had the guts to tell me to come and pick him from his house the next day by 6:30am on an offline trip. I say no wahala. The following day, he called 6 times and I didnt bother to pick. smiley
This was you about 2 years ago (Obviously not a driver then) grin

if he was attacked and robbed, then vehicle stolen from him, he shouldn't be detain.

But if he park it somewhere and vehicle was stolen from him, he has to be detain for 24hours, that is standard procedure for investigation and must be release.on bail within 48hours, then investigation continue. Make sure police wont pressure him write something incriminating, he should just state exactly how it happen.

If they find strong evidence linking him to the crime, then they will have to get a court order to continue his detention for couple of weeks, or even a month.
Thank you so much.
