debbie:
Good evening my people, its been a while i posted something personally. I have a suggestion to make for job seekers.
1 When you are negotiating your salary with your possible employer, please negotiate your GROSS INCOME( This is your actual take home pay) and not your NET INCOME( This is what they pay before tax and other deduction.
Many employers have capitalized on job seekers ignorance on this to pay them peanuts. Please never, i mean never negotiate with your net income in view...I hope this helps

2. When you are offered a job in writing please read carefully the conditions and all that is attached to it...note some of the hidden clause and possible information that wasn't stated on the appointment letter.Often times, we overlook some salient points and information, after which we come back complaining.

3.A-one-man BUSINESS or company is prone to dishing out some silly actions. So when picking the job be ready to swallow such...knowing that there is no set standards, also learn on your job and prepare to move on.I am saying this from my years of experience and contact with such business owners.

Thanks
Looks like you mixed it up ma. I may be wrong tho

Its a useful piece anyway.

You got the love of your life pregnant

You brought a child into this world of which you are responsible

And because the going Is tough, you decide to kill yourself and leave them

That's selfishness bro

Life is a challenge. Always see life as that. Get up,be determined that you will get the blessings each day brings.

Start from somewhere. It doesn't matter if the job is below your taste. What matters is that it keeps you away from begging

Remember there is usually light at the end of the tunnel. Sorrows may last for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

I don't quite agree with you.
We are well beyond just spreading the gospel and deep into the realm of money-oriented evangelism.
Nigeria needs more than religion and corrupt politics.
Lol

I quite agree with you sha. But my point is we cannot be depending on another sector or organization for a need contrary to their objective

We can't say, because GTB recorded a profit of 42bn,they should be responsible for improving the health sector.

Yes,they could build hospitals, but it wasn't the vision and objectives it's founding fathers had,or the aims of a bank.

The church, if you are a Christian, was established solely for propagating God's word. You can't blame them for unemployment. China Is successful, not because of religion, remember?

I quite agree with you that religion has done relatively well in Nigeria and instead of channeling this success to human development, the G Os prefer to fly private jets, but let's not misplace priorities here

The government is protected by the religious leaders- imams, pastors and priests.
Focus should be on both the religious and political leaders.

Creating job is not government responsibility. They are just to create the enabling environment for private sector to create jobs. All mark needed was Internet connection and a computer to create Facebook. If he was busy praying, I guarantee you we will never have Facebook.

The church, is a problem in the sense that they are brainwashing youth that continues prayers, tithe paying and offering bring success. Asians have so far proved that to be a big lie.

Until we Nigerians realize prayer is indeed not in the success equation we will continue to be known as third world country.
If the Asians have proved that we can be developed and grow our economy without any religion or outside religion, why then are you depending on religion for yours? Why not tow the same path with them?

I don't know whether you believe in God,but Christianity and Islam never encouraged laziness. You claimed Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook with only the Internet and a computer. But have you forgotten that the computer needs power? Did you realize that the Internet facilities abroad are efficient and affordable than ours. In some countries, Internet is a fundamental human right.

No matter how successful a church, school, mosque or hospital becomes,it will still be expected to serve it's purpose. You don't compel a hospital to fix the roads around their vicinity because they are successful. Yes,they could do it,but it isn't their job

Nice points by the op

But the major aim of establishing the church, even by Jesus Christ himself was to spread the gospel, not really to create jobs. Matthew 28:18-20

This is the responsibility of a sane government, not churches.

You can't blame PHCN for not giving us good roads when their job is to provide electricity

The flamboyant lifestyle of pastors these days calls for serious concern,as many are wolves in sheep clothing, but don't hold your church responsible for the rise in unemployment.

Hold your government responsible

I think he's right.

Jollof rice originated from Sengal. It is their native meal and we only copied from them.

They call it 'wollof'

In his defence, it would be stupid to give such credit to Nigeria on an international screen knowing it's only a borrowed meal.

There are more important issue facing the country, though.
Thank you for this line. I really appreciate

Joe Igbokwe isn't even relevant in Lagos sef

And Joe isn't a wise man either. Even Tinubu and all the pillars of APC have never said a word about Nnamdi. Does he think they are dumb?

This is politics. Anyone could be your yardstick to greater Heights. Joe and his small brain just couldn't think of that
