Black people get cold and flu like everyone else all the time so this virus is no different. But there is evidence that the Virus does not live as long (on surfaces) in hot countries than it does in cold ones. |

OyelSheik: while the focus was on GEJ, you should find out what happened to the shortfall of 4 billion (and other missing CBN funds) that the auditors did not find and was lost in the focus on others instead of Sanusi himself! Sanusi is a corrupt individual who (despite the shielding of the worst criminals by the Hausa/Fulani Hegemony) could not be protected by his own people! I don't expect you to understand it as a dumb sub saharan African lackey. |

Well the reason Southern Nigerians always end up being victimized and constantly dominated by others like the Northern Hegemony is their mumu behavior and Stockholm syndrome. Sanusi did everything possible to remove Jonathan and any southern Governments from office to pave way for Buhari, he used the global media to scream corruption and undermine the GEJ Government while he was also stealing from the CBN. The Government he helped to elect have now turned on him while the same stupid Southern Nigerians are praying for him! 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Pressure Mounts On Government To Free Sanusi by j1mmy: 10:09am On Mar 13, 2020 |
Well his troubles started just before the GEJ / Buhari elections He tried to keep the Hausa / Fulani Hegemony in power by pulling the rug under GEJ's feet. He Stole a considerable sum of money from the CBN, and while been chased he was enthroned to give him immunity from justice. He quickly went to Buhari after elections to offer his services of probing the Jonathan government, the PDP also then submitted his corruption to Buhari part of which is being used today against him - once Buhari saw the evidence he quickly dissociated himself from Sanusi. Despite his boastful literacy levels, he continued the primitive tradition of keeping very young girls (mostly non-Muslims) in his palace for sexual pleasures against their wishes. The list goes on, what it comes down to is what he says in public is not what he does in private! |

Travel / Number Of Iranians Turned Back At US Airports Is Growing, Nigeria Is Next! by j1mmy: 9:25am On Feb 01, 2020 |
They left Iran with valid visas in hand. But hours after landing in the US, they were forced to turn back on flights they never expected to take. From Massachusetts to Michigan, reports are on the rise of authorities detaining and deporting Iranian students at US airports. A 27-year-old engineer who'd planned to get a doctorate at Michigan State University was deported from Detroit Metro Airport on Monday. A week earlier, a 24-year-old Northeastern University student was escorted onto a plane in Boston as protesters at the airport pushed for his release. For the students, it's devastating. For immigrant rights advocates, it's a troubling pattern emerging as tensions run high between the US and Iran. And for American universities hoping to convince the world's top students to study in their classrooms, it's causing concern -- even though the overall number of cases is still relatively small. "Campuses are much more worried about what happens at the port of entry than they used to be ... because it is so unpredictable and so apparently random," says Terry Hartle, senior vice president of the American Council on Education, which represents about 1,800 colleges and universities. "It used to be that you would breathe a sigh of a relief when your international student got their visa. Now you breathe a sigh of relief when they get to campus." US Customs and Border Protection says its inspections take additional factors into account and can uncover details that didn't come up in previous visa screenings. There's no guarantee, the agency says, that someone with a visa will be allowed to enter the United States. And every day, hundreds of people are denied entry at US ports. But advocacy organizations, rights groups and immigration lawyers say the situation they've seen unfolding recently is far from business as usual. "Something's different now," says Ali Rahnama, legislative counsel for the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans. "Deportation of this number of students is not normal." https://edition.cnn.com/2020/01/31/us/iranian-students-deported/index.html |
Politics / Re: Reason Nigeria Was Added To Trump’s Restricted Travel List. by j1mmy: 9:21am On Feb 01, 2020 |
Nigeria's disrespect all over the world (including USA) has nothing to do with overstay, it is simply credibility - Nigeria is simply not respected by anyone enough to treat it fairly! You could call it the most terrorist nation on earth or the most dirty and it will not be challenged by the government and citizens. It will just be business as usual! India rejected being called the Rape capital of the world, their excuse is that Nigeria (a country that never protests anything) should be given the title. Same with when some countries were called the poorest, they said it should be Nigeria! 1 Like |

Crime / IGBO Drug Dealer Arrested In Cambodia - As Usual, Described As Nigerian! by j1mmy: 4:12pm On Nov 14, 2019 |
On November 11, 2019, the Department of anti-drug collaborated with the Dan Dan express bus company in a bust coordinated by Mr. Seth Vannak, Phnom Penh prosecutor, to seize a shipment of drugs which was being delivered from Vietnam to Sihanoukville. The police found six packs of ICE drug (methamphetamine), weighing 5895.82 grams, hidden in a speaker. After the investigation, the police arrested a Nigerian man, NDUKWU JONATHAN CHUKWUJEKWU, a 26-year-old footballer, and two Cambodian women, Pok Sreyleak, 28 years old, and Yun Sreynou, 20 years old. At 3:30 pm on the same day, the Cambodian police checked the house of the Nigerian man and found more evidence such as 9 grams of marijuana, a speaker, three phones, nine pumps, one cleaning machine, three passports. The police confiscated the 5895,82 grams of "ice" and 9 grams of marijuana. |

omenka: You are a good example of what is wrong with the Nigerian mentality, A 19 year old Chinese kid will not say this rubbish. our leaders take the best share of the blame - The leaders you talk about, are they not citizens who went from the masses pool to a place with access to money? If they can do that what of the average citizen (which they are)? THINK!!! years upon years of leadership failure from the top right down to our council wards - Why do you think Nigerians keeps electing them or allowing them to rule forcefully? Why do you think it will not happen in many parts of the world / what is the difference with those places? I answer for you...CITIZENS! We need a total reorientation in this country - Only decent thing you said...BUT IT SHOULD BE AIMED ONLY AT THE CITIZENS! THEY ARE THE PROBLEM! THE PROBLEM OF NIGERIA IS NOT LEADERSHIP, IT IS CITIZENS - A LOW QUALITY POOL OF USELESS CITIZENS MAKE UP WHAT ALL AREAS OF YOUR SOCIETY (INCLUDING LEADERSHIP) BECOMES! 6 Likes 1 Share |

SLAP44: No "next governor" will recover your money, majority of Nigerians are corrupt - if they put you there you will do the same because that is all Nigerians know for 59 years! Even the EFCC people are criminals, they take bribe from some and not others. The president is living with criminals in his own house and his election was paid for my someone similar to Rochas called Tinubu! If you send 5 year old children on errand they will ask for bribe, it is the nature of Nigeria! |
