Have you made progress?

I submitted applications to few schools and still expecting a reply.

One of the schools replied and expected a $200 deposit, but unfortunately I didn't pay on time due to the fact that I wasn't sure of the best way to get the payment deposited from our Nigerian banks and yeah!


I didn't see the mail on time.

And the deadline for the payment was 30th of April.

Still about gettin' to Abuja for the legalization of my documents.

Majority of schools don't require IELTS or other English proficiency test if you are from Nigeria or any other country whose first language is English. Study permit is automatic work permit too

Yes he can and I think now, you don't have to apply for a separate work permit unlike before. He should check if this is true. Though the limit for the work permit is 20 hours per week in school session and no limits during holidays.

Besides, if he is middle-aged (at most 35), why not go for the Canada PR Express Entry program instead? He should be able to get above the minimum points (67 out of 100) and will just need to read and get above 8 band for IELTS which he can surely prepare for and make.

Na that IELTS I dey find like this. Where do I start from?

I résigned from my federal job and moved to Canada. No regrets at all.
I know former CBN staff who have relocated to Canada with their families. Same goes for highly skilled professionals in banks and other sector.
Msc in canada is the way to go

I didn't verify my documents before sending to JKU but they told me that they'll reply me for updates, and it's been days now, I hope y'all make me do the appropriate thing for my Master's Admission.


So I'll be traveling tomorrow to get some documents verified in Abuja as being stated on some comments on this thread for some future
