MasterKrest: The whites came in to agriculture, now you have a good agriculture, like ranching, and modern techniques, not what is happening in Nigeria, whites came into breweries, now you have some of the best wines in Africa, whites came into mining, now you have an industrialised nation, whites came into fashion, they came into music, they came into politics, you even have indigenious car companies by whites, now you have a flourishing country setting the arena and pace for Nigeria to hustle and work hard, we won't give up, don't forget, blacks are resilient
Jonraid: It is like them saying,'We have many online shoppers than you'
I always get like,''Shouldn't that be the case,I mean you are like 200m...right?''
There are few sane Nigerians in here. When we factor in 'per-capita' in an economic indicator because we only have like 48 million Kenyans, hell breaks loose! 48-50m people against 180-200m people isn't going to be fair for the most of the time!
I don taya pass die .common sense has never been their forté
edon21: forget the damn quality. in most TV stations in South Africa, Nigerian songs rule the airwaves. during award ceremonies Nigeria takes the day what the hell are you talking about
What TV stations are those? have you become that desperate? Given your uncontrollable population,it's a no brainer why Nigeria will collect most awards or did you expect a country of 52 million people to beat the one with 200 million people in votes?
Why does it seen like all of you are using your rectum to reason and not brains?
[quote author=IronGalaxy post=75473129]Typical whitewashed Nigerian you think when our beautifully shaped beauties go to our sacred rituals unclad is something to be ashamed of? You really think you're insulting me?You think by wearing those Indian curtains make you "civilized"?Lol.
The question should be. Don't you have someone's skull to mine today?
Jonraid: Nigeria is that type of girl who says that she'll love you by force even though you don't like her let alone love her!
They will impose to you that you like their movies and songs!
LOL spot on! Nigeria is that girl who buys a new Brazilian Weave and when she realises that no one actually cares she starts to flick the weave continuously until she gets compliments ...so pathetic.
PROVERBZ: niniola came and beat all of you in your house music and friend nobody cares about house music OK
who still buys songs at music stores anymore ??south Africans stream Nigerian songs die YouTube their comments are littered everywhere even still am sure the goal of Nigerian artists is not to hit a jack pot in sa . UK africa and the Caribbean has been conquered a little beat more pushing they can achieve the goal of conquering the USA
look davidos fall and another afro beats song by an ivorian in Nigerian pidgin where the most shazamed songs in new york Joanna is the name of the song how I wish we could take credit for it the guy lives with Nigerians and knows how to speak Nigerian pidgin
I remember when vodacom sa used one mad hit by skales then 'shake body'for an advert they even edited it an added Zulu language hahaha
Maradona was not even the biggest House song that year,so who did she beat? she is basically one-hit-wonder status at the moment. The same House music that dominated The Black Panther movie soundtrack is the one you claim no one cares about? your afrobeat was nowhere in sight which just shows that people are growing tired of it.
FYI,people still buy music physically if you didn't know.Check Eminem's latest sales, both digital streams and actually copies. So what's your point? Nigerians are also viewing SA music on YouTube but you never see us bragging about that.
Vodacom selected that song because it basically suited the theme of the Vodacom's "Shake Everyday" promo, not because it's Nigerian or anything like that. You guys use a particular famous Jacob Zuma meme all the time on NL,should I now beat my chest about that? see why I think you have toddler brains?
Ibrahimanis: You are wrong though, Nigeria accommodate many variety of music, afrobeat is not even the most popular genre in Nigeria (pic) afrobeat is to Nigeria what dance hall is to Jamaica, a genre identifiable with Nigeria, Just because they dominate does not mean there are no other genres, what it really boils down to is thirst and cycles, because most people expect afrobeat from Nigeria, they get stuck from one afrobeat to another.
BTW except for a single song here and there most popular Nigerian musicians are into afropop, wizkid, davido, tecno, yemi alade, tiwa e.t.c are all into afropop not afrobeat. Compare "Gbona" (afrobeat) with other popular music from wizkid and Davido, you'll get what I am talking about.
Whatever the difference is there between afropop and afrobeat...I just can't tell it.
abbeg: First I'm not a fan of Nigerian music.I know it's rubbish. But house music is far from the best in the world. And I didn't say all of S.A. music isn't in English.I said MOST.Which is true.I was saying Nigeria dominates African music which is also true.No one cares about quality these days. That's all.House music MIGHT and a big MIGHT have better quality I can't tell since I don't speak xhosa or Zulu or whatever language that is I don't know but afropop sells more than house music.Simple.And I don't think afropop sells in S.A. I KNOW it sells in S.A. Laugh all you want I still have Google. But S.A. music in Nigeria?Na,doesn't work. And I think we have won Grammys before.I'll check. South Africans, the wool over your eyes is getting thicker and thicker! Still thinking you run music! No,no you don't!
Show us a country that has a better House music than Msanzi. You guys must learn to separate popularity from quality, those two things have nothing to do with each other.Lol stop using language as an excuse,Daddy Yankee's Despacito song (lyrics written in Spanish) was one of the biggest songs of 2018 even amongst non Spanish speaking people.Your afrobeat don't sell in SA,I frequent music stores (btw I'm not talking about some black market in some shady location) and I must tell you that music stores down here don't even have your CDs on the shelves cause no one buys it,so in what form does your music sell in SA?
PROVERBZ: y'all also claimed Nigerians where begging nasty c to come to Nigeria
after he failed to get the crowd going in Lagos lol man was like I see so many young people here why are you not singing along (no sir its not because we are old we simply don't know who the Bleep u are ) before south African music penetrates Nigerian audience it most be a feature and most times the hook is usually by the Nigerian artist that's what people are interested in not those fake raps y'all be doing faking american accent even tho u speak British English ooo the accent lol eg rands and niaras ,fela in Versace , soweto baby particular even this songs were not that big in Nigeria compared to how big they where in sa
I don't know about the begging part but I have realised Nigerians and other Africans on YouTube highly rate Nasty C more than South Africans do,and you can check the comments on YouTube if you doubt what I just said.
In a country like Nigeria where the industry doesn't accommodate variety it comes as no surprise that the crowd will not be moved by Nasty C's performance. The two industries are too different,PERIOD...in Nigeria is Afrobeat or die as opposed to South Africa that covers all bases and cater to different audience within the same country.Ever wondered why international Rock bands like Linkin' Park,Nickelback,Coldplay, etc never perform in Nigeria but can sell out arenas in South Africa? well that's because we speak the same musical language as them,a language too foreign in Nigeria because the only genre that reigns supreme is the monotonous Afrobeat. So you saying even if a South African song was good you wouldn't listen to it if a Nigerian artist is not featured? what kind of a toddler mentality is that? if a song sucks then it sucks no matter who is featured. The sooner you minimise nationalism when it comes to musical taste the sooner you'd start appreciating good music.
XhosaNostra: I commend her organization skills. She has all her ducks in a row- a new home, a business & now she's making her own funeral arrangements, unlike other so-called celebrities who die penniless & the nation has to make donations to give them a respectable send off. This is how it should be done. They must not keep showing us pictures of themselves spending money recklessly on frivolous things, only to have a pauper's burial in the end.
Justnotyou: Genetics play an important role in our intelligence if you're a genius chances are you're gifted, hard work definitely plays a role but nothing beats talent.
jakandeola: make sure u dont kill a naija guy and steal is car as u kill lucky dube
Whoever gave birth to you should have swallowed back to the womb shortly after birth. You are an idiot,möron,stupid,fool,nutcase,fruitloop,lunatic,dumb,....please go play with your kind and stay off my mentions.
XhosaNostra: Yes, I grew up in the 90s, so I also consider myself a 90s baby because I don't know what the 80s were like. I was a baby in the 80s
Ooh nice! You had a comfy upbringing. I'm not a coconut lol. How dare you! I grew up ekasi until my early teens, then we moved to the suburbs. We were middle-class.
XhosaNostra: R5000 a month on fuel is a lot of money lol. I wonder how much fuel a Kadjar needs. I'm planning to buy one soon, but now you're getting me worried. I can't be forking out thousands of rands a month on fuel, sorry. A bus is way cheaper.
But that's exactly what some people are coughing a month lol, think of an AMG with four exhaust pipes.I don't know about the fuel consumption on the Kadjar but I know you will at least be paying around R3,500 or so p/m,sounds reasonable to me.
I always loved Volvo. My first car is probably going to be the v40
XhosaNostra: Imagine saying a Renault should be dumped at a junkyard! It's a good start up car & some cost as much as a quarter of a million. That looks like a Renault Clio. Let me check the price tag on that one.
Edited
R221, 900 (almost 6M Naira). That's not bad for one's 1st car.
Yeah it's a Clio. Not to mention it is one of the most fuel efficient vehicle around so you won't be spending more than R5000/month on fuel
ranch2000: Let's make love, not war Jace . We need to build bridges, we've got too many enemies in Africa as it is. Besides, what's provoked this thirst for Kenyan blood on your part, so early in the year?
mtisTheQubit: The end game for ths thread will lead to one an only one path, a confrontation btw S.A an Kenya...just give it time broh ...
But you have used all your weapons on Nigeria, what are you gonna do when the Mighty South runs wild upon you with atomic bombs huh? watchu gon' do mang?
Justnotyou: Genetics isn't as fixed as you're implying, especially between races, its much more deep than that, imagine some kalenjins are good in long races does it imply all east Africans or even all kalenjins are naturally that good? you think there aren't a bunch of white people that score poorly in those tests? Genetics matter a lot in IQ results you can't have a Tesla from some low IQ inbred parents it just can't happen.
Could you elaborate this statement? I'm still confused even after reading it 5 times.
Ahaa I knew I would solve the mystery one day.So if you matriculated in 2005 it means you were born in 1987,so you are a 90's baby if we round the figure to the nearest 10 just like I consider '98 borns as 2000's.
Nope,I wasn't a cheeseboy,I grew up in a very decent house with a Television and countless VCR decoders,TV games, etc but never considered myself a cheeseboy. You? are you one of them "coconuts"?
TayserMahri: Obviously I respect her as an African lady but not when she crosses battle lines. She fell so easily for the bait of one SA-based Naija womanizer by the name Runalong. These are the same men SA police are warning your beauties about.
I hear you,but I still think we should prepare a ring for that Kenya vs SA for the main event this Nigeria vs Kenya has now become redundant with recycling of pics.
TayserMahri: That was another really embarrassing moment but we can always let it pass like gentlemen. Overall he's an objective guy, and very necessary when we need to kick yall!
Really? then what happens when I bring Lionessza6 to the battle? you don't wanna mess with that one trust me.
