We know how you stifled our companies from establishing in South Africa but your government quickly came here begging and promised to allow Nigeria's companies to operate freely because they know South African migrants are benefiting more than ours.

Anyway, we are watching and will not hesitate to kick out all those your companies once we notice Nigerian companies are being stifled by your government.

I have seen on other show how Ethiopians have been complaining about South Africa. There were these two guys who use to live there but they have left S.A. for USA now. They have been explaining how they were targets for attack. The South Africans near them use to tell them that they will attack them just after Mandela died because they keep reminding them that he is the only south African who cares for Ethiopians.

I think she was in danger. We don't have many shows for drama queens. We don't have the Kardhashian types here. There are few shows I know that always sound fake. I don't easily trust people naturally, she sound so real. Very real. It was not like a Dr.Phil show where people make stories to become popular. It is just a simple show where people keep it simple and real. I wish you had known the show.

It was few years ago. I was hearing my favorite radio program. In that program, Ethiopian diasporas from different world dial and chill. But the dial from South Africa was terrifying. An Ethiopian mother from South Africa was crying in the house was crying for help. It was a Xenophobic attack and the guys were waiting her right at her door to kill her. She is a mother of two and she was asking where to hide her kids.


At that time, different African government was protecting and taking back their nation. Ethiopian government was busy making money that Ethiopians were left on street with no one. She said they told her that she have no one looking for her as if she had no country. The studio got messed up and the vibe was really bad. She asked so the government could hear her out so they could help.


I was literally crying and I didn't sleep that night. I don't even know if she is alive or not. You can understand how much it felt.

Very unfortunate.I understand that some things are hard to get over,especially when they hit close to home.


Some foreign nationals in SA deserve the treatment they get though,it's just unfortunate that Ethiopians and other immigrants get caught up in such mess.I'm gonna be honest,Ethiopians don't have a bad reputation here as far as I know.Some foreign nationals are that bad that you even find other foreign nationals in SA complaining about them.Let me step on few toes with this one,crime in South Africa would drop by 50% if 90% of Nigerians,Mozambicans and Zimbabweans were removed.Go to Hillbrow and see how the people I have just mentioned turned a once clean Hillbrow into a middle of Syria to the point that is even dangerous to the people who were born here (South Africans) .Mozambicans and Zimbabweans even cross the border to come and steal cars in South Africa,just last year,the South African police caught Zimbabwean thieves towing a Mercedes Benz to the border gate with a donkey lol.I don't wanna sound like I'm promoting xenophobia,but I think we opened a floodgate to emigration disaster the moment we stopped patrolling those borders..I'm sorry about what happened to your kin,let's hope she survived.

Lol, no I'm not that extreme. I do however start cleaning as soon as visitors leave. I can't explain it, but I need to feel a familiar feeling about how clean something is It's annoying sometimes because I can't really have peace of mind until I'm in that "familiar" zone. A small thing out of place, even if it's a crumb, gets me feeling anxious & restless until I clean it up My mum had the extreme kind of OCD though. Never actually relaxed. Always on the move cleaning something. She even polished taps with brasso! Hahaha.

And you still say you not that extreme? .Well I personally am not that much of a neat freak but one thing I can't tolerate is dirty dishes,or the kitchen as a whole looking like a pigs sty.I mean that's a part of the house that is in full view of everyone who comes in so it needs to be super clean all the time.

Speaking of dying in foreign countries,have you heard the story of a South African woman who died of an illness she contracted while working in the Bahamas? and they refused to send her body back to SA because of fear that the corpse might spread it.Apparently she will be cremated there and her family will never see the body.

Well Jace, I have a mild case of OCD, so I wash them once to twice a month. It depends on how they "feel". Even if they don't visibly look dirty, I'll still wash them if they feel dirty lol.

I see,dirt really repulses you Neh? let's hope you not one of those people who ask visitors to leave their shoes at the door before they enter your house ,personally,I find that VERY offensive.I know the "feel" you are talking about,as soon as the smoothness and silkiness is covered by sweat the blankets start to feel like they are always wet,isn't it?

Jace, the hardest part was picking up the wet blankets from the ground up, then I had to go up the stairs with them. I was whizzing like a steam train I was finished!

Lol I have been postponing washing them,those things are heavier than a Ford truck engine when wet.Maybe I should install wheel and axel to help me lift them out of the water when I wash them

I don't know hot it is in Morocco but I assume the temperatures may be more tolerable than how they are in West Africa.My nose bleeds when temperatures hit 35+ degrees,so hot weather is my kryptonite.I sweat excessively and become extremely weak.

I don't like hailstorms lol. Last time one happened, last year, it ruined my day. I was pissed! Imagine I had just done my laundry & even washed a couple of blankets for good measure. Next thing, it just started raining out of nowhere. Huge balls of ice. It rained hard for about an hour. By the time it was done, everything was on the floor, covered it dirt. I won't lie, I shed a tear because I was just beside myself with anger & frustration. Had to throw away one blanket because the shit on it wouldn't come out.

I've been an avid reader most of my life, so once upon a time I read a book called Comfort Herself, it was set both in London & Ghana. I loved the book so much that I probably read it 100s of times. It told a very descriptive story of how life was like in Ghana, through the eyes of a little girl from London. Reading it was like a journey of discovery for me too since I knew nothing of the world outside of S.A at the time. So for me, It'd be Ghana. Comfort lives on
