If Morpheus's premise states that Mexicans have it better than South Africans on all economic indicators, the inference from this statement would be that they have a greater degree of infrastructure, higher GDP per capita and a more sophisticated welfare systems run by their governments, in comparison to South Africa, yet they are running to the borders.

The above observation would therefore negate the premise which states that the presence of "all the above "mentioned variables plays a determining role in the decision of a citizenry to stay primarily within their borders.

If premise 1 therefore negates premise 2 logically, then what is the conclusion?

The primary reason would therefore be the levels of "poverty" in relative terms.

The fact that you don't see a large contingent of this" poverty class" of South Africans exiting the country en masse cannot stem from the so called "fantastic infrastructure" or the so called 'stable" democratic structures( because this also exists in Mexico) but more so on the inability or ignorance of this "poverty class" of citizenry to access alternatives outside of their structural confines or maximize their individual utility within a broader global economic structure.

Have you been to Mexico before? The average Mexican has it better than an average South African yet the "one way migration" of many a mexican that flood that American border on a daily basis is very evident. You really do need to open your eyes to the world you live in and understand it a little better. SABC and ENCA is doing a very bad job at informing you guys over there.

There is no contention here cept for one. You do not stay in your country because it is better than other African countries, you stay because you do not know how to survive anywhere else.



Point 1.Which country can one go and not find White people settling there? What is good for the colonist is also good for the colonized. We go where they go. Heaven is anywhere you make it.

Point 2. Nigerians are no majority in any country on earth so relatively speaking in comparison to other groups of "foreigners" that live within those confines we are a minute size. On aggregate a less than 10% proportion of the total population can be found outside the country and relative to the countries total population size, well you do the math.

Point 3. Total remittance inflows into Nigeria from these Japaer's in US$ stood at 18billion US dollars in 2020 alone into the country so while you are still fighting and toytoying for that good governance which you keep wishing will come, like they say in Naija "We move!!!

If there were a more than a 50% Jappa rate in Nigeria and West Africa in general then the above argument would make sense but since the entire immigrant population in SA stands at 6%-8% of the entire SA population, the above is null.

There will be people who jappa but that's just evidence of natural selection at its best.
