European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: English National Team Is A Bunch Of Crap by Jackal(m): 6:46pm On Sep 04, 2007
@ A-40,

Dont gemme wrong . . . . .
England has under-performed humungously and their record is nothing to write home about.
The problem stems from not always having their best players fit for competitions.
How many teams in the world will beat England's first XI when they are all FIT?
I swear . . . . .Not many teams.

The reason why Brazil, Argentina, France and Italy are better is just because they have a large sea of players to choose from.
England does not have that luxury . . . .Do u think Joe Cole will make it to an Argentine team or French team? Dont think so.
Meanwhile, he is the only decent player that can play on the left hand side of the Midfield in England.
The only area of the pitch where England just edges it is the defence . . .

Attack and Midfield area is over-skint . . . .
Abbiati(3rd choice goalie) in Italy is better than Englands best goalie for instance.
In the midfield . . . . It even gets worse . . . .You can forget the attack because theres no need mentioning it.
Brazil went to Copa America without Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Kaka, Cafu, R. Carlos and others and still won the title.
Do u think England can afford to go to any competition without its big players? No.

English team is like the Man Utd of last season.
They have the a good 1st XI capable of beating any team in the world but once 2 players in that set-up is missing, they don't have a team.
No good fringe players . . . . Who can deputise for Gerrard? Deputise for Rooney? Deputise for Joe Cole? NONE.
This is where England is suffering a lot and other European teams have an edge with a wide margin. . . . . . . . . . . .
The influx of foreign players into the Prem is also stalling local talents to develop and break into the 1st team of the National team.

Watch England's game against Argentina(friendly) in 2005 and see what i am talking about . . . .
Ashley Cole was the only missing pawn and England gave a good account of themselves.

@ ritchboi,

Everyone knows.
I was just being sarcastic.
Thanx for your lecture.

@ A-40,

No one deserves it more than Dennis the Menace.
As much as i hate Arsenal, i love Bergkamp's elegance . . . . . .
He is a scientist . . . .he makes football skills so easy and i sometimes wonder if he sweats on the pitch.
Deft touches, awareness, vision, defence-splitting passes, selfless and very intelligent.
He is not governed by goals . . . . .his greatest joy is fabricating the moves that leads to goals.
Dennis Bergkamp is a SUPER LEGEND.

@ A-40,

I disagree with all y'all.
The English National Team is NOT crap.
Injuries to their big players is the major problem why they under-perform.

Has the transfer window really closed?
Wigan just signed SALOMON OLEMBE of CAMEROON. grin grin grin
Is something wrong?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Jackal(m): 12:19am On Sep 04, 2007
What a waste?
Thank God he didnt come to Man Utd last season.
I think he wld join Arsenal or Newcastle in January.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 11:51pm On Sep 03, 2007
Park lost his knee.
He wont be back till January at least . . . . . . .
Wes Brown is a waste playing as a RB for Man United.

Just heard now that Ballack wont be playing for Chelsea till January.
Thank God the pensioner didnt come to Man United.
Is this what we wld have faced if we bought him last year? . . . . .
SportsRe: Premiership Remnants by Jackal(m): 11:18pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ Chief Akola,

U dare call other teams in the Prem as remnants.
I disagree with u.
Portsmouth, Blackburn, Tottenham and Villa aint remnants . . . . they deserve a right to be mentioned in the same breath as the big 4.
Dont let their fans see this thread. . . . they will eat u alive. grin grin grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 11:14pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ Justkunmi,

For Shizzy!!!!!!!!!!!
Holding fort is not a team like United should be celebrating.
Lets get a RB that can do the job or at least match Neville's confidence and input in the team.
Bardsley and O'Shea are better options on the right than Wes Brown.
I hate defenders who cannot pass the ball forward . . . . Wes does too much of sideways and backwards passing.
He is a timebomb waiting to explode and one of these days he is going to make us lose 3 points.
I just hope Neville comes back against Everton . . . .Wes Brown is a better player as a centre-half not a Right Back.
He is too daft . . . . . . . . i misee Gazza's crosses on that right hand side.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:46pm On Sep 03, 2007
Wes Brown can never be a RB.
Bardsley and Evra are better than him in that RB position 100 times.
Brown should be condemned to reserve team . . . . .He is too weak in that position.
All he does for 90 minutes is passing sideways and backwards.
Very daft and he lacks confidence.
He pisses me off when he is with the ball . . . . .He never crosses even when he gets himself into a more advanced area.
Ferguson must be shagging Brown's granny.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 9:41pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ Debosky,

Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyum.
I love Gael Clichy . . . . . He is the most improved player in the Premiership.
His runs are just breath-taking when he bombs forward.
He is the best LB in this country going forward at the moment . . . .His defensive ability is what lets him down.
What does one expect anyway, bombing forward means his positon is wide open for opponents to take advantage.
If he can do more work on his positioning and timing. . . . . . . . The boy will be a gem.
Real Madrid might be calling for his head next season.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:35pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ I-man,

We have to stick to that tradition.
Whipping crosses sets panic within the defence of opponents.
Hurried clearances that will fall kindly to Scholesy's boots just outside the box.
Remember Scholesy's scorcher against Villa last season.
That is the Man Utd i know and love since i was a kid.

Nani can do Giggsy's job but he must learn to cross.
Ronaldo can cross the ball and also full of trickeries to commit defenders and run the ball on the bye-line to cause chaos.
Fletcher is also a good player who can play on the right of the midfield when Ronaldo stays on the left.
Our midgets upfront will have to ruffle defences and make em panic so they clear aerial balls hurriedly for Scholesy and Hargo to blast.
We have a great team. . . . its a matter of time before they start geling.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:12pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ I-man,

Giggs and Brown are our weakest link for now.
I will rather Rooney play on the left than Giggs.
He is having fitness problems . . . . he needs to do something fast about it.
What if we didnt sign new players this season . . . . How would United have coped?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:06pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ I-man,

Its beginning to worry me.
You wont believe the high scoring Man United side now depends on freak shots or set-pieces to score.
I can narrow the problems down to the absence of our major performers.

Gary Neville

Even though some school of thoughts feel we don't miss his defensive qualities, i'd say we miss Neville's crosses.
Man Utd holds the record of the highest number of crosses in the whole league since Prem started . . . .Its our tradition!!!!!
Neville will always whip crosses to the danger area for our strikers to connect and score.
That method of attack is no longer there . . .  .No United player crosses the ball the way Neville whips the ball into the 6-yard box.
Bring Neville back and get our big players into the box so we score more from aerial deliveries.

Cristiano Ronaldo

United definitely miss the trickery and the deft touches of the Portugeezer.
As much as we like to play it down . . . .Ronaldo makes United team tick.
Do u notice United are not winning free-kicks and penalties like we used to do when Ronaldo plays football.
The lad is fast and he commits players to make tackles on him thus giving United the edge of taking free-shots at opponents goals.
Anutha factor is his ability to operate virtually from anywhere on the pitch and nibble at opponents achilles' heel.
Ronaldo identifies the weakest link in the opposition and keeps knocking until the door opens.
He is a maestro and his addition to the United team in coming weeks will serve as a bonus.

Wayne Rooney

The danger man of Man United.
On his day, he can win a match single-handedly and keep defenders busy all day.
We had so much joy last season because Rooney kept defenders occupied while Ronaldo was doing the damage.
Wazza is powerful and injects a dose of English stubborness into the United team.
Scholesy used to have that drive but the ginger boy is getting old and that grit is missing these days.
Its what Terry/Lampard give CHELSEA and what Carragher and Gerrard gives LIVERPOOL.
That bite is missing seriously and i can't wait to have Wazza back ASAP.
I am confident United will find its rhythm when these players join the team.
Its only a matter of time . . . . . . . . . .

Changes in the team dynamics.

The addition of new players also changed the team structure.
So many players are being drafted out of position and the team chemistry is ZILCH.
Anderson, Eagles, Tevez and Nani havent played together before and Fergie had to deploy em sooner than schedule as fit players got skint.
If Rooney and Ronaldo were available, i don't think Anderson or Nani would have gotten into the 1st team yet.
The injury/suspension also affected the United bench  . . . . it means Fergie cannot really effect any change if plan A fails. . . . .
Look at Liverpool's bench compared to United's or do a quick comparison with Chelsea's bench on any matchday.

My problem with people like u is ur dumbness and ignorance.
Blimey, u thunk PFA was compiled by the FA? If i call u a CRETIN peops will be saying i am harsh.

@ Debosky,

I cannot under-estimate Villa's workrate yesterday.
They were so determined to get something out of that game.
Maybe they were lucky to get 3 points but i didnt see em losing yesterday. They didnt sit back.
They played Chelsea the way footie should be played and they didnt stop running even after the 1st goal.
If they play like that week in-week out . . . . . They will win the Prem.
Fat Frank might get a dodgy free-kick deflected into the net cos the poor bastard can be lucky sometimes but Chelsea cldnt have won Villa.
I now know some teams are bogey . . . .Little wonder Chelsea is yet to win on that ground for 8 years.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 8:09pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ Debosky,

I dont think Fat Frank would have made any difference.
U need to see how Villa defenders were blocking all the shots . . . .Diving to take bullets of shots here and there.
I have never see a stubborn side like that before. . . . If Chelsea had scored . . . .they could have lost easily.
The goal would have busted their morale and they wld just let go.

Villa practically stopped Chelsea from finding their rhythm.
The goal time was also an important factor . . . . . . . .That is the best time to score against Mourinho.
Scoring immediately after the team talk at half-time . . . . .He loves pushing the panic buttons as soon as he concedes.
All the instructions he gave to the team went down the drain . . . .he had to come up with a new strategy by changing personnel.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 7:42pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ Debosky,

He was feigning that injury.
Drogba pretended he was injured to avoid the hair-dryer treatment from Jose Mourinho.
I dont envy Chelsea players in the changing room yesterday evening.
When Chelsea lost the title last season . . .They blamed it on Terry and Petr Cech.
Who are they blaming this loss on? Lampard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What input would Lampard have added if he played yesterday?
Villa never stopped running . . . . .Those guys should be doped.
The funniest thing now is Villa will lose the next 2 matches to shitty teams cos i am sure they wld be drained out by now.
Look at Reading that gave a stellar performance at OT . . . . . Where are they now?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 7:15pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ Debosky,

I think the Referees should watch Drogba closely.
He swings elbow everytime he tries to out-jump a defender.
Remember what he did to Vidic at OT last season and the gay got away with it.
I cannot understand why a striker will be commiting so much fouls out of nuthing.
He is a pillock and what annoys me the most is the way he dives like a shot ox.
Drogba doesn't even know how to do it well to convince anyone . . . . . OMG!!!!!!!! He is a waste of space.

@ Rikkyjen,

I will not write Chelsea off at all.
This LOSS is actually a good omen for them and don't say i didnt warn u.
A loss for Jose means 10-15 victories in a trot . . .  It is very possible.
Man Utd also stands a good chance if they keep the momentum going as it is . . . . . .
Liverpool blows hot and cold and i will assess em after MATCHDAY 12.
United and Chelsea are the only 2 teams i know that can put a good run together for 15-18 matches without losing anyone.
Arsenal will run out of gas after 7-8 . . . . . Liverpool might run out after 10 games.
I still have ma bets on United  n Chelsea to finish with more points than anyone this season.

You are a soccer-buff . . . . . . . .

Drogba scores out of nuthing but i am sure he cannot score either of these goals. grin

Nistelrooy has never had a barren season in his career.
He is the only striker to have done a return of at least 20 goals in a season in the past 7 years.
Scoring goals is like breathing for RUUD so dont even mention in him the same breath with Drog.

As u can see . . . . I didnt even have to reply ur dud statement.
A fellow gooner has given u the lowdown.

The entire back 4 of the PFA team consists of Man Utd defenders.

PICK UR CHOICE . . . . .

Especially against Fulham FC, FC Basle, and Arsenal in 2002/03 season.

When Drog does that u can get back to me.

Its a GIFT . . . . . .You can't touch it.

@ Akolawole,

A player is not feared by what he does in England alone.
Drogba scored 33 goals in a season . . . . .Big deal?
Van Nistelrooy scored 44 goals in one season . . . . .Won the golden boot at EPL and won the golden boot at Champions league with 14 goals.
That record has not been broken till date and will never be. . . . Thats a feared striker not Drogba's flukes.

@ Loyika,

You just love this your ANTI-MAN UTD topics to discuss.
What Ronaldo does with his time and money off the pitch is no business of anyone.
He delivers when he gets on the pitch and thats the most important factor.
How true is the story? At least Ronaldo paid 'em to get shagged by whores.
Robin Van Persie attacked a LovePeddler in Netherlands(THE LAND OF PROSTITUTES)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which one is worse? An Arsenal player that sat in jail for 4 days or Ronaldo that got shagged in a pool by 1st class hookers?

Try and always remove the log in your eye before attempting to remove the speck in my eyes.
Ronaldo is a young boy of 22 and he is expected to unwind. . . . .Blood flow in his VEINS not football.
He can shag as many women he wants as long as he doesnt get distracted on the pitch.
Romario was the king of whores in Barcelona while there and he once said SEX makes him fit.
Ronaldo could be following the foot-steps of the great Romario.
Maybe Van Persie will learn one or 2 things from this and stop using violence to Bleep a prostitute.
How can anyone sex-attack in Netherlands? They almost beg men to shag in Amsterdam so what was Van Persie thinking?
Mr Loyika . . . . . .You named the wrong pocket . . . . Gotcha!!!!!!!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 4:53pm On Sep 03, 2007
@ I-man,

That is the point exactly.
Refs like making examples of the big players in the Prem.
How many Arsenal players make 100k pounds a week compared to Chelsea and Man Utd fans.
The referees dont consider Arsenal players as big players so they let em have a field day.

Every Ref wants to give Ronaldo and Rooney a red card to feel important.
They wanna see themselves in Sun newspaper the next day and grin.
Thats the problem with big players.
What would Steve Bennett want with Fabregas or Toure?
He has sent Ronaldo out twice in 3 seasons . . . .He is a bloody PLONKER.
