One of the many Portuguese recruits made by Mourinho.
He was mainly a sub and could have done far better. Disappointing and insignificant he was.

To be fair, he did help Chelsea to win games, but his contributions were barely substantial.
He wasn't as powerful and hungry as he was at Bayern.
Michael had been demoted from legendary to less convincing and like Shevchenko, he is ageing and has relatively little time to justify his huge salary and bonuses that he is rewarded every year. He earns 121,000 pounds a week doing nuthing.
I am very sure he would leave in January.
