The main problem is usually DR Congo, you can't go through it to the East.

You have to go around. Safe trip bro.

This leaf is excellent.

She should pound like 20 leaves in a mortar and use the juice to rub the head after lightly bruising or scraping the scalp. The unused pounded leaves can be kept in the fridge until next use.

All I know is that someone is catching a bullet for this.

There are many cartels in Mexico, it could be any one. It could even be that the drugs weren't from mexico. Maybe Cuba or Chile or Colombia.

$11 million is small to them. For this $11 million shipment wey dem sieze, there's a hundred million more wey don pass/ wey go still pass this week.

War on drugs is stupid, as long as the world is still running, people would still want to get high.

Laredo area is controlled by the Sinaloa and Los Zetas cartels

It was five years for me. In 2020, I took a break from work. For one year I massively upskilled. Got three certifications: Product Design, Product Management, and Project Management, plus a 5-month internship with a company in the UK offered through Almond Careers in a role that combined aspects of each specialization.

Prior to the upskilling, I made $$ 10-12, but after it, in 2021, I became qualified for roles that pay more than $25 per hour, off Upwork, and with benefits. Inasmuch as where someone is right now is a good starting point, I wish I hadn't lingered at the beginner level for too long. Someone who used to work on Upwork in UI/UX that I know now works in Ireland and getting more than $150k per annum just because they advanced their skills so well, got into Toptal, worked for Loom, and then a European fintech employed him mid-2021.

We will all get there, hopefully, or even found startups that will create jobs.

Preach.

Hahahahahaha!

Very true!!! Nigerians have very poor work ethics. Sometimes my friends say I am working too hard. This is how I hard I work to endear boss to me. It is how I work to get the money you come asking me for loans!!

When you work with foreigners for just a week, your brain and body go tell you.

It's mentally stimulating jare. The monotony in Nigerian work spaces is numbling.

I was on Upwork for six years and made more than $100k. The truth is, more than 90% of you guys reading this thread and this post will not be succesful. Upwork is not child's play, and if you do not have the skills and attention to detail required, you will not get very far.

I might sound negative, but I swore never to tell any soul about Upwork in Nigeria anymore because you guys don't have the work ethic, the resolve, and the ability to transcend the Nigerian factor. The ones I introduced to the platform never made it anywhere because they didn't put in the work. To me, Upwork is best discovered by a person rather than being told about it.

If you are going into Upwork without the right tools, equipment, and mindset -- you will fail.

If you begin working on Upwork without quickly specializing, for instance, moving from content writing to marketing automation expert; or, data entry worker to Business Analyst within your first two years on the platform, you will fail.

If you love too much sleep and detest rejection, you will fail.

If you cannot devote all of your heart and passion to become the best that you can be, you will be found out and you will get your sorry ass fired.

If you cannot rid yourself of that uniquely Nigerian ability to fashion excuses for the deferment of work, you will be let go. Your profile will tank and no one will hire you.

Exactly. I experienced the bolded. Wait for it...

Great writing as always from Pocohantas

- Don't cut off the old trees yet.
- Buy new seedlings.
- Plant them between the old trees. Equidistantly
- Trim the old trees to allow for sunlight.
- Spray foliar fertiliser on the old trees just before they flower.
- Rrmove/Thin out older trees as new seedlings mature.

Sugarpapi,

I've been in your shoes (though not the exact size) a couple of times. I think three times. The key to this is to make her be the one to break off things with you.

Literally annoy her! As in piss her off but be subtle. Allow both of you drift apart naturally. It's like easing off a drug.

I know them higher institution, woke, female feminists very well. They are wanna be FEMco on twitter and IG. Them boyfriend no de see them pant but it itches so they find a 'mark'. A mugu.

Them no go spend too much (highest 5k under) but you go give them 30k dinner. (Dinner they post on Twitter or IG as a self-made millionaire)

Don't be a mark...but also DON'T STOP FORKNG HER!!! Maybe twice in a year.

Her friends from Moremi hall, Akoka and Iwaya must tag along for us. Us = Me, you and maybe lalasticlala.
