Angelfrost: Good question...!
Let me answer you with the following quote from the Good Book itself:
"That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matt. 5:45)
God has already blessed every nation with resources and brains... So, in essence, He has answered the prayers religious people already prayed from the beginning of creation.
Failing to apply common sense and human intelligence will never be corrected by praying even for extreme lengths of time. I knew you would say this. And I was waiting for you. So the next question. If yahweh has answered everyone's prayers THEN WHY DO WE STILL PRAY? Why do they harass us to pray without ceasing in the bible? 😆 |

dominique: How will such prayers work when a huge percentage of the prayerful religious people are hypocrites with filthy mindsets? The same sets of people that won't hesitate to cheat, backstab, back bite or pull down his/her fellow humans yet they keep bragging about how prayerful from morning till night. Let's not talk about people commiting all sorts of fornication and adultery yet pride themselves as prayer warriors. Honestly looking at the way majority of Nigerians behave, I think we truly deserve the predicament we found ourselves today. The worst type of prayer is that from the mouth of an hypocrite. You're mocking God and you will continue to incur his wrath! Yet countries that don't give a fvck your god are far better. What can you say about it? |

minasu190: That is why we are blessed with numerous natural resources, sadly, we are not blessed with good leaders and individual problems as Nigerians, we pray against our enemies, forgetting that we are also the enemy of my brothers. Religious bigotry and ethnicity have weakened the strength of our dear country, we are the most prayerful country but what has changed so far? Not that God is not with us , but we are against ourselves..we need LOVE, regardless of the religions or tribes. Excuse me, what do you see in Nigeria that suggests god is with us? By the way, looking at your statement that means If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31) is a lie then? |

Our only problem is bad leadership and we are the one to fix that. Yet Scandinavian countries have no natural disasters yet have very low prayer profiles. And whats more, they are much better economically |

spiSeyi: One thing about the listed countries is that they are less productive even though they have all it takes The more the prayer the less the productivity. To be more productive in life pray less, do more, and be thankful most times Ecclesiastes 5:3 admonished us to pray less Even Jesus mentioned in Luke 11:2-4 Genesis 2:15, Eccl 9:10, Luke 16:10, and 1 Timothy 5: 8 made Christians know that we need to work & pray for what we want but most Christians in Nigeria just want to pray and get what they want like magic . Even the Bible made us know that faith without work is dead. God will add more to what we have as blessings if the only thing we possess is prayers God will add more to our prayers and if we are productive God we add more to our productivity. Stay blessed Shalom! Same buybull said this 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing , 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you Stop tryna twist the buybull |

DARLINGTON869: Something is definitely wrong somewhere. 2nd highest praying nation and yet virtually every sector is in a horrible state. UNBELIEVABLE. Of course the problem is not from God. It's from the very people praying and kabashing. When we decide to TRULY repent, work on our filthy and demonic attitudes and seek God with a pure heart and contrition, then God will begin to arise on our behalf. Only in Nigeria will one finish praying on Sunday, and the following day he's already booking room 9 at a hotel for a personal "night vigil" with sister precious. Pastors are constantly being caught pants down with members wives. Looting the order of the day in government. Lying, cheating, debauchery, deceit and malice rules virtually everyone's lives and yet we expect God to listen to us. DEY PLAY OOO. YOU HEAR?? MY FELLOW NIGERNIGERIANS MAKE WE CONTINUE TO DEY PLAYYYYYYY So why does he answer the prayers of those that don't pray to him and mocking countries like UK, Denmark? |

God cannot be mocked... Pray all you want, you will continue to fall behind nations that have shunned corruption and learned to apply their brains to growing their nations. So what about the nations that actually mock yahweh like US, UK etc with homosexuality, trans etc. Are you saying yahweh answered their prayers and completely ignored those that at least don't mock him and pray to him? |

That mean our hope is on God. One day God will answer our prayer in this country! Don't derail from the faith! Keep praying!!!! Exactly the post I was looking for. This post right here shows that this country is eternally doomed. A post was made stating that your country is almost the most prayerful in the world. And what does this genius come up with? Dude said our hope is in god. Which god? The same god we have been praying for 63 years and things have been going downhill EVERY SINGLE YEAR! Same god that said call on him and he shall answer but yet the country IS STUCK IN THE SAME DOLDRUMS YEAR AFTER YEAR! Remember each year, the population of christians and Muslims increase, thus more people praying, yet more misery. Also churches are exploding all over the place. The only thing exploding along with it is corruption. The economy is going down with hardship and austerity taking up the reins. Yet my dude says our hope is in god. Are you saying he's on a vacation or what? Ok. Look at the least prayerful countries. UK, Canada, Denmark etc. Guess what? They don't give a fvck about your god but they are way better than you. You even run to them en masse. Logical reasoning is really a problem for Nigerians. |

Ken4Christ: I agree but it's happening in increasing measure. Besides, some kind of deaths happening today were uncommon years back
Eg 1. Brother killing sister because of 200 Naira banana. 2. Husbands killing wives at the slightest quarrel and vice versa. Etc Youre bent on expounding your narrative without using your cerebral hemispheres. People kill each other for fickle reasons right back in medieval times. Even in your bible mythology, siblings kill each other for flimsy reasons. Also homicidal domestic violence has been on for centuries.
