In UAE they attacked Fujairah oil hub and areas near Dubai.

In Bahrain, they struck fuel tanks, oil refinery(Bapco)

They struck Dubai international Airport.

They struck Abu Dhabi (Zayed International Airport area)

They struck Hotels.

Now can you defend this, probably you can't.. so I won't be expecting your reply, na run get you like your types here.. LOL
I don't know if you have poor comprehension skills. Aren't those countries US allies where US have bases? If u notice, they dont bomb any gulf country that dont have US base like Oman. Those bases is where US launches attacks on them. Also they specifically warned those countries that they shouldn't allow US use their bases that they'll bomb their infrastructure since the US bombs Iran infrastructure. Try and listen to the news

He is very correct especially since his target audience are the atheists here on Nairaland who desperately need anything to hold on to in order to disbelieve in the existence of God and one of such things a lot of them here hold on to is evolution.

They believe beauty can come from randomness. Harmony can come from randomness. Just like the design and construction of a mega city came about over millions of years of randomness then we had skyscrapers appear, well manicured landscapes, flyovers, trains, fast cars, etc. All came from randomness Afterall the basic component of what these things came from are molecules cheesy

Didn't Tinubu see all those things before he chose to become president and opened his mouth to promise what he cannot deliver? So if he cannot do what he promised, then he resigns. Simple

Oga Doctor, I respect your profession and you’re 100% right on paper. In a perfect world, confidentiality is key, and those XYZ codes are the standard.

But let’s be real: we are talking about Nigeria. We’ve seen cases where a mother is the one 'chasing' the results because her son is too ill to move. We’ve seen rural clinics where 'codes' aren't used correctly because of a lack of training or pure exhaustion.

You might follow the rules to the letter at your facility and we thank you for that!, but RVS exists because the 'system' is failing in many other places. Whether it's a breach of protocol or a stockout, the human impact is the same. We aren't here to paint doctors bad but we are here to fix the gaps that happen when the 'ideal' system breaks down.

Respect to the work you do!
While I'm not holding fort for any doctor,I am letting you know the way stuff works. And what u said isn't how stuff works

Was this a vaginal delivery or a caesarean section?. It is important to know this because it would be reckless and unprofessional to subject the patient to the rigors of a vaginal birth in these circumstances. Secondly, how can a properly conducted ultrasound examination miss two additional babies?. Nigeria happened to this woman and her family.
Did it occur to you the patient may have declined a section? Nigerian women ar3 notorious for such l. Would you then blame the doctors?
About scans, it is dependent on the sonographer skills, and not the fault of the doctors

Well, post partum hemmorhage is a common cause of death in women pregant with multiple babies. Even when everything has been done.

The thing about the uterus..or womb, is that to prevent bleeding, you got to have some 'tone' in the uterus. A pregnancy in mutliples 'stretches out the uterus' and causes something called atony, which can lead to severe bleeding and death.

And it ain't easy treating postpartum hemmorhage. It can mean spending hours on the operating table..far longer than one thinks dem go spend.

This was not medical negligence most likely. EVERYTHING was done, and it didn't end well this time.

You guys should stop blaming every death in hospital on 'negligence'. Sometimes, one does everthing by the book, and it doesn't work out.
I have stopped responding to social media posts denigrating doctors. Its of no use. Most of those making the comments as dvcmb as fvck and dont know medical processes. Once someone dies in a hospital, its automatically the doctors' fault

Solofresh2:
Cubana Chiefpriest is not a politician. He is a businessman. And businessmen go where the business is.

Last election, business was with Obi. This election, business is with Tinubu. He is not betraying ideology; he is following the money. The only sin is saying it out loud.

The outrage is表演. Everyone knows this is how Nigeria works. The same people criticizing him would do the same if their livelihood depended on it.

Call it opportunism. Call it survival. Call it realism. The name does not matter. What matters is: when the food moves, do you starve or follow?

Chiefpriest chose to follow. And in Nigeria, that is not betrayal. That is strategy
My nigga,u r real. Im an igbo man but it it what it is. Many igbo guys would follow Tilumbu if he dangles one tenth of the carrot he dangled to Cubana. We dont have ideologies,we have survival. CP followed the money like a true businessman, though some will still follow but be in the background to avoid backlash from their tribesmen

Sometimes to heal a wound, you open it up, wash it, apply some balm or chemicals then bandage it and give it some time to heal. All these are temporary painful processes that will lead to permanent cure.
Iran deserved this intervention for world peace.
If u call Iran a terrorist country, what would you call the US? A country that abducts and kills presidents illegally, invades any country it wants, illegally mine oil and other minerals etc

Wrong cause. No evidence our medical colleges are significantly lowering admission requirements to admit people from Sokoto. We're dealing with a system problem. How hospitals are run. Work culture. Societal values. Accountability issues. Infrastructure. Working conditions. Etc.
In the end,we doctors are all humans, prone to mistakes and errors of judgement once in a while. The advance countries know that and have put systems in place to checkmate this, like a cap in a max number of patients docs attend to in a day, free and easily accessible mental health, mechanical use of some of the actions we usually undertake and other measures. These reduce the mental toll on us. And the mistakes drastically reduce.
But in Nigeria, the doctor patient ratio is one of the highest in the world, and no one cares. We work under strenuous conditions. If we manage to do mistakes, everyone comes for our heads like mass murderers. It's not a fair system. Even the best docs succumb to these things. No doctor goes to work with the intention to kill anyone. The system needs to change. The doctors work is the most strenuous profession cos any tiny mistake and someone can die

HealthRe: Everyone Knew I Had HIV… Except Me by jaephoenix(m): 12:20pm On Feb 23
RetroviralS:
Growing up, I thought I was just a sickly child. I was always in and out of the hospital, always taking medication daily. Whenever I asked why, I was told, “It’s to keep you strong.” I believed them.

At 13, during a routine clinic visit, I overheard two nurses whispering. One said, “That’s the girl born with it.” Born with what?

That sentence wouldn’t leave my mind. That night, I searched through my mother’s drawer and found my hospital file. I saw it clearly written: HIV Positive.

I froze.

Not because I thought I would die immediately, but because everyone seemed to know something about my life that I didn’t. I confronted my mother. She cried. She said she didn’t know how to tell me. She said she was trying to protect me.

Maybe she meant well.

But silence didn’t feel like protection. It felt like loneliness. For years, I swallowed my medication quietly. I avoided deep friendships. I kept people at a distance. I was more afraid of stigma than the virus itself.

Everything changed when I met other young people like me at a support group for students, entrepreneurs, dreamers living boldly. That was when I understood something important:

HIV may be in my blood, but it does not define my future. Today, I take my medication confidently. I live fully. I speak without shame.

Being born with HIV is not a death sentence. But stigma can be.

Nairaland family, if you were in my mother’s shoes, would you have chosen silence or honest conversation? Maybe it’s time we start changing how we talk about children born with HIV.
Another fake story on Nairaland. As a doctor,we dont hand patient records to them. Also this patient is supposedly an adult, aint no way his mother would be in possession of his records. That's a breach of doctor patient confidentiality. And most importantly, we dont append HIV POSITIVE to patient folders. We either mark and X,or we just put XYZ or other codes there
RetroviralS I know u wanna bring attention to some cases but at least let us know its fictional instead of painting it as real life
