What prevented the man from taking his wife to another hospital for the CS? My patient with twin boys, with twin 1 breech, adequately counseled for CS vehemently declined. She went to deliver in traditional home, had prolonged labour, choriamnionitis & death of both twins in the womb. She was rushed to the hospital and still had d CS with delivery of 2 dead babies.
When I heard the story,I was even more perplexed than you are. Obstetricians are the usual advocators for CS and not the patient. CS makes things easy for us to manage.
