Snakes are repelled by the smell of petrol, but obviously great care must be taken when sprinkling petrol around any structure due to the fire risk.

Secondly, planting tobacco plants is REPORTED to also be a good repellent of snakes. Nothing to lose by planting lots of tobacco plants all around the poultry.

Thirdly, hard boiled eggs left with fresh ones in a poultry, when swallowed by a cobra, will choke the snake to death because the usual process whereby the snake slams its upper body on the ground to break swallowed eggs, will NOT work on hard boiled eggs, thus leading to the cobra choking to death.

Fourthly, a spitting cobra can be hooked like a fish with the trick of drilling a small hole in the fresh egg, and inserting a fishing hook attached to a length of nylon fishing line, inside that hole in the egg, which is then sealed with a few drops of candle wax. The egg is then placed where the snake has been observed, whereby the snake will swallow the egg, and wind up hooked like a fish and ready to be shot dead.

Finally, my preferred method of dealing with snakes is a shotgun blast from a range of more than 20 feet, so that the shooter is out of range from the acidic saliva of spitting cobras as shown in the photos above.

This morning a news feed from the Nigerian Punch Newspaper CLAIMED that terrorist instigator and notorious sit-at-home illegal house arrest promoter Nnamdi Kanu, has been acquitted on all terror related charges that he is facing in court, and has been awarded 100 million naira compensatory damages to his reputation by the court, as he walks out of court a free man at liberty to take more innocent lives for thrills.

On checking for that news story later in the same Punch Newspaper online website, I could not find a single mention of this doubtful story. If it is indeed true that an unrepentant terror instigator who armed bloodthirsty civilian militias in Igbo land is about to walk free, then such a court ruling will hasten Nigeria's entry into a dark chapter of legitimized terrorism that could every easily spread to other parts of the nation, as copycat terror kingpins and separatists commence their own assaults on civil liberties and human life.

In a fair and just world, terror instigators Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa will NEVER smell freedom for the balance of their wasted lives to be spent breaking rocks and losing sanity behind bars.

Any confirmations of refutations of this alarming news story that mysteriously vanished, would be greatly appreciated.

Specifically, I am curious to learn whether they too are often presumed to be "underage" simply because Nigerian observers find them guilty of maintaining youthful and toned hour-glass figures that are wrongly presumed to be on account of their age being below 18 years.

In the meantime, my message to all Nigerians of both genders is that obesity is a deadly sickness, and NOT the defining parameter of sexual maturity, while conversely, maintaining a firm and toned midsection is the beneficial consequence of regular exercise, but NOT an indicator of the fit person being "underage" from a legal standpoint.

Obesity is worshipped in Nigeria, yet the condition kills people in droves worldwide. During several visits I made to night clubs and restaurants in Nigeria, the observation I made was that the wealthiest men who arrived at the venue in the newest and costliest cars, were ALL carrying monstrous beer guts reminiscent of 6-month pregnancies, while their hideously fat female companions were ALL weighed down with gigantic folds of lard that were revolting and perplexing to behold in equal measure.

If the wealthiest men in Nigeria are built like hippopotamuses and also prefer women that are even more grotesquely obese, then there is a cash INCENTIVE for women to abandon exercise and sensible healthy diet, so as to embark on feeding frenzies to gorge themselves with fatty foods that will attract the equally monstrous rich men of Nigeria. The end game of course is that clinically obese people live miserable truncated lives plagued by all manner of avoidable sicknesses that they brought upon themselves due to their fat-worshipping lifestyle.

On a personal level, I work out HARD to stay HARD with the same 31-inch waistline I had aged 21, while maintaining enough muscularity to bench-press 1.5 times my own body weight before breakfast. I find fat women ugly, repulsive and frightening, to the extent that they are invisible to me. Anyone who ignores their health and chooses to become obese obviously hasn't a care in the world that they are reducing their lifespan by decades, yet, I would be lying if I claimed to pity them for their self-induced predicaments.

While there is a new upsurge in physical fitness awareness in Nigeria, the traditional belief that obesity is a sign of wealth and good health refuses to die. This particular lady who died after collapsing in her home obviously suffered from clinical obesity, and likely thought that being fat was a good thing, even as she placed herself at risk of diabetes, hypertension, and a host of other obesity related ailments that are 100% preventable by the simple expedient of engaging in regular exercise and good diet.
