Aircraft pilots rank second only to law enforcement officers when it comes to the powers of observation that they must acquire and develop to become competent in their careers, therefore any descriptive accounts made by aviators who spotted UFO craft while they were flying high above earth, must be regarded as more believable than reports of similar events coming from the general public.

Here is yet another compilation of UFO eyewitness accounts from aviators, and filmed for the archives dating back to the 1950s. Listening to these detailed recollections of UFO craft behavior in terms of aerodynamics, a common denominator emerges in that the saucer-shaped craft are regularly described as tilting to a precise 45-degree angle whenever they are about to depart at speeds estimated to be in the THOUSANDS of miles per hour. The YouTube channel entitled "Eyes on Cinema" is once again, the source of this fascinating collection of pilot interviews on the topic of those ubiquitous UFO enigmas that materialize and then vanish worldwide.

Man vs Dog... I conmend him for sparing the dog's life.
That final act of mercy by the man was totally unexpected. After all the bites he sustained, I was certain that the man's survival instinct, fueled by justified rage, would make him terminate the dog in revenge, but also to make sure the raging toothy beast didn't try and launch another comeback.
Nairaland General › Enraged Attack Dog Versus Desperate Judo Expert by Jakumo(op): 9:48pm On Aug 18, 2025
Of all the man-versus-beast battle video footage these eyes have ever seen online, this epic confrontation between a trained Pitt Bull attack dog on guard duty, and a man who turned out to be a Judo expert, easily ranks among the top three showdowns in terms of heart-pumping adrenaline content. This life-and death skirmish is a study in desperation, combat prowess, tenacity, focus and utter ferocity by the canine aggressor, throughout this unforgettable clash recorded on CCTV, careening frantically towards a plot-twist outcome that remains unpredictable right up to the final frames of the video clip.

Without spoiling the surprise as to how the life-and-death clash unfolded, anyone viewing this footage will surely agree that there can be no more fearful and quick a deadly weapon than an American Pitt Bull dog that launches itself into attack mode. This dog was terrifyingly relentless in its attacks on the man, who despite suffering numerous bites from bone-crushing teeth, fought heroically yet calmly, summoning considerable grappling skill with an economy of motion as is so instinctively deployed by seasoned martial arts practitioners.

One need not be fluent in Brazilian Spanish to understand what is about to happen once the dog sights his quarry through an open gate. After watching this video clip, this writer regards Pitt Bull dogs with a new respect combined with a deep visceral fear.

It should be a matter of grave concern that the aerial survey being conducted using a Cessna Caravan C208 single-engine aircraft, leased by by well-funded mining prospectors in southern Nigeria, includes coverage of two forest reserve areas that are home to the critically endangered African Forest Elephant, whose populations are ALREADY under significant threat from illegal poaching by trappers and hunters, as well as due to habitat destruction as the human population gradually eats away at those two essential nature reserves located along the Ijebu-Ode to Benin axis, called the Omo Forest Reserve in area "J4" along the Benin Expressway, and the Okomu Forest Reserve in Edo State, located to the south west of Benin City.

Mining operations must not be allowed to destroy the only two nature reserves in southern Nigeria whose acreage is measured in square miles, and whose flora and fauna MUST be protected from the massively destructive industry of mining, which if permitted, will lay waste many square miles of pristine ancient tropical rainforest already listed among vital World Heritage wildlife refuges that are NOT to be ruined by mining operations or any other mode of habitat destruction.

It is only a matter of time before this new airport generates revenue that will enable it to install full CAT III Instrument Landing System (ILS) ground infrastructure that will enable heavy cargo and passenger jets to perform fully automated landings in all weather conditions and even when visibility is extremely poor.

Credit must be given to the visionary state leadership that steered this ground-breaking project to its celebrated fruition today in 2025, as confirmed by the NCAA certification that has been issued to greenlight the commencement of regular flights for BOTH cargo and passengers.

In a short period of time, it will be possible for passengers bound for New York, London, Tokyo and Montreal will commence their travel itinerary from the sleepy town of Ilishan in Ogun state, Nigeria, where a commercial boom of epic proportions is about to be witnessed.

This is a phenomenal development with enormous potential for commerce that will create jobs and revitalize industry in ways never before envisioned for the entire area surrounding this airport.

Bravo to all involved in making this dream a reality, dating back TWO previous Ogun State government administrations right up to the present one that brought the project to fruition.

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Mining Sector: A Magnet For Questionable International Operators by Jakumo(m): 11:52am On Aug 15, 2025
This article is timely because between August 10th and August 12th, 2025 a Cessna Caravan C208 single-engine aircraft equipped with a special device called a MAGNETOMETER, which is installed at the end of a long pole that extends backwards from the tail of the aircraft, has been flying at low altitudes of 400 feet to 1000 feet above the ground, in the areas east of Ijebu Ode in Ogun State Nigeria.

Anyone living near the "J4 Forest Reserve" area that lies north of the Ijebu Ode to Benin expressway, might have noticed that airplane on the days listed above, flying very slowly and unusually close to the ground. The mission of that plane is clearly a geographical survey of the land to pinpoint where precious metals like gold, tantalite, and coltan, can be found, preparatory to launching major industrialized mining operations in all locations that are found to contain those valuable mineral resources.

Note the meticulous flight path of parallel lines flown by the miner's prospecting airplane. Only an organization with connections at the highest level of governance in Nigeria would be capable of running this kind of aerial survey, with this Cessna Caravan aircraft whose tail number is VH XA2, that departed from and returned to Muritala International Airport, Lagos, a shown in the flight records below.

I wholeheartedly agree with your astute declaration that "Niger is not Nigeria", professor. That said, the October 31, 2020 hostage rescue that was executed by US Special Forces involved a US missionary who was kidnapped in Niger, and then taken across the border into Nigeria, where this audacious rescue mission occurred as detailed in Wikipedia, along with the Military Times website, which one can only hope you won't classify as a "Fake Noos" outlets, in your infinite wisdom.

A couple of years ago, an American missionary working as a volunteer with his wife in Niger, West Africa, was kidnapped, and taken across the border into northern Nigeria. This brilliantly reenacted video clip chronicles the preparation and execution of a highly choreographed hostage rescue mission that kicked off when special forces operatives breathing from oxygen tanks jumped out of an aircraft cruising 25 thousand feet up in the night sky, and silently steered their parachutes to within striking range of the encampment where the American citizen was being held by armed terrorists.

With American military assistance, Nigeria's terrorist problem would be consigned to the history books in a matter of months as drones operating with AI target acquisition capability would be launched to neutralize kidnap/herder/bandit gangs with surgical precision from the air, until there are no further targets left to annihilate.

DeepSight my hat is off to you for this declaration you have made about religion that places you in the rarefied company of free thinkers like Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka. I would hazard a guess that less than 0.1% of Nigeria's adult population would identify as being non-religious, if asked about their faith. When asked about my religious leaning by a Nigerian, I claim Catholic despite never having set foot in any church, purely as a tactic of social convenience that enables me to side-step further interrogation.

In Nigerian culture, anyone who openly defies the norm of being either Christian or Muslim is regarded with a mixture of equal parts suspicion, loathing and puzzlement by the overwhelming majority who brandish the formalities of their religious observance like a cherished badge of honor, regardless of whether they are law abiding or criminal in their character and daily conduct.

Regarding the jailhouse rite-of-passage which deprived South Africa's Nelson Mandela of freedom for 27 years, and which saw the likes of Gani Fawehinmi, Femi Falana, and Wole Soyinka tossed into dungeons numerous times by various Nigerian military regimes going back decades, there can be no denying that such giants among men sacrificially placed their lives and liberty on the line for the greater good, and in furtherance of democracy's rights and freedoms, while bravely undeterred by the acceptance that they might never emerge from jailhouse captivity that often ensued without the luxury of a legitimate court trial or conviction.

While Mr. Sowore is no stranger to police custody and prison, thanks to his long history of agitating for one cause or another ever since he was a college student, the exact cause which inspires Sowore to repeatedly clash with law enforcement agencies TODAY, is far less easily categorized, now that Nigeria has embraced electoral democracy, than it was when Nigeria was lorded over by the whims of military despots who had no tolerance for freedom of speech or its attendant democratic aspirations.

In other words, it is not clear what Sowore hopes to accomplish by screaming at armed police officers wherever he goes in Nigeria, while angrily denouncing both the ruling party and the opposition party's leadership with equally agitated vitriol. Perhaps, the only explanation that makes sense would be that Sowore became, with the passage of time, little more than a PROFESSIONAL COMPLAINER who makes a living by hurling unfounded accusations left and right in a bid to draw the attention of Nigeria's political elite, with the hopes that those whose reputations stand to be tarnished by that perennial gadfly's ululations might choose to BUY Sowore's silence with cash under the table, even if it is understood by everyone that the allegations spouted by Sowore are largely figments of his over-active imagination.

We have much bigger problems than Sowore.

People are getting murdered in Benue and Plateau,,
Hunger is unprecedented.
Floods are ravaging many communities in Nigeria.
Strikes are looming all over the place and in many sectors.
Sowore's jests and jokes are the least of our problems right now.
I wonder sometimes whether Sowore is gainfully employed in any way, besides his hobby as a mildly amusing skit maker who loves to prank armed police officers as a means of generating content for his bored followers to watch on YouTube.

Is it possible to make a living generating such repetitive, unimaginative, and frankly boring video drama content?

Another thing that I find intriguing is that Sowore has never been pictured with a wife, girlfriend or family member of any description. Could this mean that he is a socially isolated and sexually frustrated loner whose only human interaction occurs when he makes a spectacle of himself by playing the buffoon over and over again like a delinquent kindergarten truant?

How many people can go to jail over 20 times.

When Gani was alive many people accused him of the same.

People are different.

I believe Sowore has a point and he is a man of conviction.
Ogawa DeepSight, my perception of Sowore differs from yours most notably regarding my evaluation of the way Sowore treats those who he imagines to be of lower status than himself.

The true measure of a person's character can be gauged by observing how that person treats those occupying lower or subservient rungs of the social ladder .

Time and time again Sowore has sought confrontation with uniformed Nigerian police officers who Sowore obviously presumes to be of lesser social status than himself. During those confrontations that are almost always instigated by Sowore, pushing and shoving are typically seen, when all along, a calm and measured attitude by Sowore would have resulted in outcomes that would highlight his potential as a statesman in the making.

Rather than assume a diplomatic stance in his Quixotic quest for notoriety or fame, Sowore has consistently displayed the reckless, loud and confrontational attitude of a common motor-park thug. Behaving with such an alarming lack of restraint will, in the minds of many observers, disqualify Sowore from consideration as a serious candidate for any elected office in or outside Nigeria.

Mr. Sowore relishes violent physical confrontation while haughtily disregarding all opportunities to display mature decorum, which combines to diminish his stature in the public eye, to that of a court jester whose only value will ever be to provide light entertainment for those who peruse news reports emanating from Nigeria.

It is refreshing to encounter a critical thinker who sees through the antics of perennial complainer-for-profit, Mr. Sowore, whose entire life has been devoted to vigorously shadow-boxing against real and imaginary enemies, without one single victory on record thus far.

Clearly. Mr. Sowore only finds validation when he is the center of attention, so he devotes his every waking hour to find something that he can rage about with indignation before the assembled press. One could logically speculate that Mr. Sowore is not very adept in the art of seduction because his constant state of rage suggests he might be sexually frustrated most of the time.

From the video footage of the woman called Mrs. Comfort who ignited that brouhaha aboard an aircraft, it is evident that she is afflicted with some manner of mental illness. Her unreasonably confrontational reaction to a simple routine request to turn off her phone while aboard an aircraft was the first indication that she was disturbed and prone to hysterical outbursts over trivial matters.

The fact that Mrs. Comfort continued to stew in anger throughout the flight, and then went out of her way to physically assault a flight attendant an hour later on landing in Lagos, illustrates that something was really off with her in a behavioral sense. The fact that the flight attendant fought to subdue Mrs. Comfort must NOT le allowed to detract from the salient point that the aggressor at each instance was none other than Mrs. Comfort.

If it turns out that Mrs. Comfort files a lawsuit against the airline, speculation would then be valid as to the motive behind the entire psychotic episode that was kicked off and intensified by Mrs. Comfort, which would have been purely for monetary gain, rather than due to mental illness.
Travel › Re: Nigerians Treated Like Dirty People By International Airlines by Jakumo(m):
Regardless of your nationality, the one airline that would be most wisely avoided by ANYONE who seeks to minimize stress in their life is Lufthansa. The officers manning the boarding security checks in Frankfurt Airport are very rude to everyone, and are prone to barking their orders to passengers as though they are prisoners being processed for jail cell allocation.

In Frankfurt Airport, Nigerians and other African travelers are subjected to additional inconveniences that are not seen by those traveling to and from countries outside of Africa. For example, connecting to or from any Lagos flight will entail MILES of walking between departure gates located at great distance from one another within the airport, while portions of that long trek entail boarding buses outside the airport terminal buildings in the cold and rain, depending on the weather.

I will never forget my last ever Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Lagos. The thermostat in the departure gate waiting area was turned up so high that all the passengers were drenched with sweat in the stifling heat as they awaited their call to board the aircraft . When I approached an airport staff to request that the heat be turned down, my request was greeted with ridicule, and the heat was turned up even higher. That was the day I quietly resolved NEVER to board any German airline, and NEVER to set foot in Germany for any reason, going forward.

On the other side of the coin, my experience with KLM, connecting through Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to London Heathrow, was pleasant and stress free in all considerations. Security staff in Schiphol were courteous and friendly, as were all the Dutch nationals I interacted with in that magnificent airport. The flights were on time, and departed from gates that were within close proximity of each other within the airport complex. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is by a wide margin the BEST airline serving Nigeria and Africa, bar none. Fly KLM and see what I mean.

In my capacity as a self-accredited armchair doctor in good standing, I will now diagnose the slow walk of this man as follows:

Chief Akpabio is sadly fitted with a CATHETER, that consists of a tube that enters his urinary bladder via his male organ. That tube is connected to a plastic bag that will be strapped to the man's ankle, to collect overflow from his urinary bladder, as a temporary measure before he undergoes surgery, or after that surgery while the condition is in the healing process.

He is wearing that catheter because he is suffering from EITHER an enlarged prostate gland that prevents normal urination by blocking its flow, OR he is suffering from CANCER of the prostate, which is a major cause of death among black men ov3r the age of 40.

Finally, the catheter is EXTREMELY painful for the wearer, in that every step he takes while walking sends a searing pain to shoot like an electrical current up into his bladder via his urinary passage, which in turn makes him walk in a very slow, measured manner purely to minimize that pain.

I find this not only hilarious, but on a more serious note, a great insight into how an enslaved African mind works.

When the Europeans brought Christianity to Africa, it seemed, on the surface, to be free of charge.
But beneath that surface, Africans paid a huge price for accepting that Opium, in terms of the natural resources we allowed the Europeans to exploit.
The more darker side is that having the minds of millions of Africans permanently enslaved to the toxic waste from the bronze age Middle East then, the fallout from that trade is still affecting the African mind today.

Isn't it interesting that the Europeans sold us , or should I say granted us, the gospel of Jesus, supposed son of God, for free.
But the same Europeans protect their intellectual properties in science and technology, and makes everyone pay for access to their knowledge?

The funny twist is that African promoters of European Middle Eastern religious myths, such as Adeboye, insist on charging money to their fellow Africans for selling the same toxic garbage that the benignly cunning Europeans gave us for free .

What a sad irony for the Children of Africa.
Those lemmings and slaves grow to love their chains. They bask in their ignorant acceptance that the jet-setting fast talkers who fleece them while living high on the hog will miraculously alleviate the plight of the impoverished congregation that wallows in abject poverty while waiting for Jeeesus to give them free lunch as a charitable replacement for their donated salaries grabbed by the cult leader.
