This is my 100% honest assessment of Mikel.
first and foremost he is no longer a playmaker but a defensive midfielder thanks to Jose M, not neccesarily a bad thing considering
his form over the course of the last two season's at chelsea
Mikel has improved dramatically as a defensive mid that infact EPL punditt struggled to pick four def mid better than him in the
EPL last season however his performances for the super Eagles has been a sharp contrast to his club's. Is Amodu to blame or Mikel
himself, as many has questioned his loyalty, commitment and discipline for the SE.
Bottom line Mikel Obi has a sharp contrasting performances for club and country. i,e plays well for chelsea but performs badly for the SE |

You guys are having a laugh right, considering the amount of unforced errors he makes in virtually
every game and still manages to win leaves a question mark abt the quality of his opponents (excluding nadal)
as far as i am concerned Pete Sampras is the greatest tennis player ever period, someone who was forced to retire early due to injury
and can still manage that many grand slams whilst playing some mouth watering tennis, dont get me wrong federer is great but not
the greatest |

Are you high on eba? Sell Petr Cech? . . . . I am laughing in greek. . and replace with whom? You can't even point to many situations where Petr conceded many cheap goals. . and you think it's time to sell him?
How many of the world's top goalkeepers neva had a glitch in their careers?
Sell Cech ? . . . Come off it man! Nah m not only high on eba but also akpu , Peter Cech is the best keeper in the world, he has become unbeatable since his reading injury, some people are simply blinded by a players reputation, thats why you see some coaches making selection based on reputation rather than on actual or current form, shaking my head |

nateevs: Good Part.
Sell him for £35m, best piece of biz we ever did in the history of Chelsea. The money will help to fund big money signings. He's 28, he's losing that grip. We will never break the Mafia/Untouchable thingy if we don't sell him. We will never sign a player and pay him more than JT - a clause in his contract puts him at par with the highest paid player at Chelsea (Not that I support paying any player more than £130,000). Above all, we'll save over £6.5m a year in yearly wages paid to JT. While we wait to lay off Ballack and Sheva.
Bad Part While selling for £35m might be a considerable thing to do, the fact that we've had one of the best defences in the world in the past 6 seasons ( the best in 3 of them), I think it'll cost us more that £35m in the long run. We will lose all bits of organization. If Carlotti cannot speak English yet, we need a motivator. JT is it. Plus he will serve as an inspiration to younger defenders (Bane, Mancienne et al). Also, considering the fact that we are selling Carvalho this season, it def will not make any bit of sense to sell JT in the same season.
Whichever party you choose to join, there are consequences. Tough decision eh?
ManCity actually bid for JT in the Jan transfer . . . . b4 this bid. who we need to sell and replace in that defence is peter cech, call me weird i dont care but the amount of mistakes he makes since his injury against reading over two years ago has been the number one reason behind our shady defence, people failed to realise that Scolari wasnt neccessarily a bad manager, immagine in a game where the goalkeeper concedes cheap goals either early or late in the match , How do you expect us to win a match like that, even when GH was in charge can yall remember the Chelsea-Boton game, et al i say get rid of Cech and bring in a decent keeper, maybe fulham's keeper cos as far as am concerned of his form for the most part of last season is anthing to go buy he has being the weakest of the top three keepers easily i.e Van der sar, Reina. |

RuuDie: Muki's story
this 1 played football for the SPLA female football team before the civil war began in Freetown, then they were in amateur division 1 and were known as the Bomber Queens FC of Kwakale. When the war began, they were drafted, as back-up, into the main millitant wing of the SPLA - so be careful around her, she also does shooting and Javelin.
Well, as per how she fell in love with the Arsenal; she used to have a crush on this Sene-gambian football star called Jawara who played for the Scorpions and looks a bit like the Toure brothers. Well, when EPL football started becoming popular and was being shown on Tv everywhere, she started seeing a player that looked like the loff of her life in one club popularly called "the gunners." Since it was Kolo that first came into the limelight, she took to Arsenal because of him. Now she is also going bonkers about Yaya becuz he looks more like Jawara than kolo; but unfortunately/forunately whichever the case may be her eyes are now open to the world of attractive footie players and she is now so into Arsenal becuz of other fine-boy players like The Prof, Song, Gallas, Silvestre, Eboue, Sagna, Eduardo, Diaby, Arshavin etc. so she cannot migrate to Barca (Yaya's club) - but she still supports them whenever it is possible. LWKMD, Muki are you just gonna sit there n watch |

nateevs: Left winger is a priority. If Yuri blends, he is a player that can play left wing or left back. We currently have no back up for Ashley and for 3 seasons now Malouda starts the sesaon well then disappears for months. Yuri will be very useful.
We will sign more players. According to Buck, 3 or 4 will leave and 3 or 4 will come in. So let's see what happens this week. Now tell me that was a mistake, typo error |

Ibime: I disagree wholeheartedly. One of the critiques of Carlo from Italian journalists was that he never gave young players a chance.
Marco Borriello, Ignazio Abate etc. . . . the list of youngsters he has spurned is endless.
The most criminal of them all was his treatment of Gourcuff. He dashed Gourcuff to Bordeaux for 13m Euros, ignoring him all the time and inserting that silly clause into his loan deal. This is an unforgivable lack of foresight. Now Milan have lost Kaka, as well as his replacement. Gourcuff is not worth anything less than £25-£30m in todays market. spot on |
