we seriously need 1 or 2 solid cb. |

@ FBS. make no mistake about it. . . Anelka, in his prime, was a better striker than Didier. even DD himself cannot dispute that
ask yourself this question. hypothetically, If WPOTY was to be awarded to strictly strikers. do you think Klose would have won the award at any point in his
career? |

FBS: hehehe. my top ten list? I will ask you to answer this first? What is the primary function of a striker? To do back flips, toros etc or to simply to score goals?
And when you score goals on the BIGGEST stage of all, how can you not be among one of the very BEST !!! Fair point. However, you have to agree that for a striker to be rated/considered as one of the best, his ability must exceed simply scoring goals according to your logic. . . Fontaine is a better striker than Batistuta/Romario given the fact that he has more world cup (highest stage) goals to his credit |

RuuDie: As good as Oleg Salenko. . . . . who probably woulda been right up there jostling to overtake The Phenomenon's WC record if he hadn't been so unfortunate to be playing for the CCCP, USSR or is it Russia!!?
Klose might well get that record or even surpass it but the proof as to just how good he is will lie on the tips of people's mouths when they start reeling out their individual lists of the world's best strikers of our generation - Raul, Super Pipo, Ronaldo, Sheva, Eto'o, Drogba, R.V.N, Anelka, Forlan, Villa, TH14 etc will any1 remember to mention the name Klose GBAM. Being one of the finest strikers is more than just scoring tap ins and headers. . . He is a goal POACHER and that's about it, nothing spectacular I dare say Inzaghi is a far better poacher than Klose and the former won't even make the top 10 list of the best strikers of this generation. |

This is what happens when player's position in a team becomes unthreatened. When I said it last season that JT has lost it, some people
thought I was chatting gibberish. His woeful outting at the world cup and in this game further buttresses my argument. |

I dont like to get on the back of any of our players but IMO Theo is the worst player in the arsenal squad, true enof he has unbelievable pace but that boy no be footballer. I've watched, hoped and prayed that Theo would change but it seems I have to face up to the truth. Theo is the worst "footballer" in the Arsenal squad, true he is an impact player but methinks that is all he'll ever be particularly if not played centrally.
I'm almost ashamed to say it but Nzogbia, Young and Lennon are all better wingers than Theo.
One of the hallmarks of an exceptional player is versatility and adaptability, Theo practically sucks out wide and rarely goes past his man despite such blazing speed and IMO messes up team play, you should have watched some of our pre-season matches cos at a stage against AC Milan, Nasri stopped passing to him. If you watch his game now, all he thinks of is facing the goal and going to score because he sucks at everything else.
All the young players (Wilshere, JET, Frimpong, Lansbury, Aneke) coming through the ranks right now might not have his pace but they are first of all footballers, when you pass the ball to them at the least you expect them to do something with it or give it back but with Theo, it is more likely he will give it to the opponent. Theo is either very exceptional or sucks very badly, there is no in-between for him.
I think he is in the last chance saloon now, so many people I know are already saying it would be a shame if the likes of JET have to go on loan while we keep Theo around, just go and watch the Sturm Graz game again, JET in one half of football created as many opportunities as Theo probably did all of last season, and he was playing as a right sided MF for the first time whereas we've been trying to make Theo a winger now for the past 3 seasons or so.
I love every Arsenal player, but this is my opinion of Theo, I can't fault him for trying, perhaps if we could match his tenacity to Vela's ability, then we would have a Messi on our hands but make we siddon look sha, time will tell. Not all gayners are retarded and the bolded section confirms it. I'm glad some arsenal fans such as yourself and follipimpi are starting to see it for what it is. |

If a player's heart is no longer with the club then he should be offloaded. there's no point of desperately holding on to a player
We will need to shop for a quality left back if he leaves as Zhirhov's defending ability is questionable. |

Adriano can play at right back, left-back, right-midfield and a left-midfield, meaning he is four players wrapped in one, We've have signed four players at the price of one @ 9.5 million, he is a bargain. Fashion › Re: Recommend A Powerful & Long-lasting Cologne by jalether(m): 6:05pm On Jul 18, 2010 |
queenesthr: @poster, what you should know is that eau de cologne does not last no matter the name.
If you want a fragrance that lasts go for eau de parfum or better still parfum.
The name has nothing to do with how long it lasts. The name only identifies the fragrance note - woody, floral, musky, fruity etc. While I agree with your point, that's not the only factor. Other factors come into play here such as the season and weather intensity, quality of ingredient and note composition for example. fragrances recommended for the warmer period of the year or sunnier climate (dior eau sauvage, Bulgari Aqua et al) are usually less potent than the winter fragrances for one obvious reason (fragrances project better in the heat i.e the need to reduce the intensity of summer frags) as already mentioned, the quality of ingredient- (natural vs synthetic) and certain notes such as oud, sandalwood often affects the longevity of a fragrance. bottom line - If you want a cologne that last longer, stay clear of the sporty summer frags. or better still follow queenesthr suggestion and buy fragrances in eau de parfum or parfum concentrations |
