This is the el classico of Europe, every other match (with exception to ath-chelsea game ) are mediocre, lets go thereeee guys the formation seems a bit strange with Marcelo pushed up wide and exclusion of King raul, whats the manager thinking |

United will lose WITHOUT Fletcher. United will not win the game on sunday regardless of the tactic, formation or squad selection deployed, FACT |

~Sauron~: I thunk this is why Anderson, Fletcher and Carrick have all won the UCL medals and the idiots at Chelsea have not. Reasons why United's trio have been winning the EPL in the last 3 seasons and your midfielders have been left with scraps.
WPOY that none of your players can ever win. You are a disgrace!!!! You have not made any point, all I can see here is waffles, Fifa only include world class players/creme de la mer of football in their shortlist and none of those dud up there made it, that speaks volume, To further show your level of ignorance you once claimed the best squad does not always win a competition (UCL inclusive) therefore winning the UCL does not make you any better than players who have being unable to win it, going by your sense of reasoning Traore and Dudek (members of 2005 UCL winning team) are better than Ashley cole and Peter Cech who has never won it before |

~Sauron~: The KEY to beating Chelsea is . . . . . . .Anderson---Fletcher---Carrick. Forget about Scholes or Giggsy. Oh really that's why Essien, Lampard and Ballack are in the WPOY shortlist and none of those 3 duds up there aint |

BinghiNya: I can't see anything special in the chelsea team. They were so hot last season that they managed to get a draw against a struggling United team. Once fergie's doesn't gamble with the midfield chelsea will be in deep shit. Chelsea 1 United 2 If you can't see anything in a team sitting on top of the EPL with a comfortable goal difference then you need a serious work on your observation skills, come to think of it, what exactly is so special abt united this season , maybe I'm missing something here |

ogazi007: Yeah right!it could even be worse than you have anticipated, but certainly that wont stops us from getting to the next round and disgrace your team with our young lad from the academy.i do not think you have forgotten in a hurry what the combination of xavi, inesta and messi did to your team last season.pls pray to jam barca in the quarter final of CL. We played a goaless draw at the nou camp and 1-1 it ended at the bridge, thanks to ovrebo (barca qualified on away goal rule ) so what are you shouting abt , anyone reading your comment would actually think barca did beat chelsea, SMH |

~Sauron~: U cannot have a fair assessment. . . . .Barcelona don't play in the EPL. United, Chelsea and Arsenal are scoring against one another like fun while Barcelona are playing the wackest teams in La Liga. Have they played any GRADSLAM game yet? The only GRANDSLAM in La Liga is the El Classico. WRONG Barca vs Sevilla, Barca vs Valencia, Barca vs Villareal, are all grand slam matches |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Rooney Overhyped? by jalether(m): 9:51pm On Nov 01, 2009 |
~Sauron~: He has outscored all the top strikers in Europe in the qualifying games to the World Cup. I believe that is enough for you to know he's the best striker in the EPL. What he contributes to Man Utd is peerless and i will have him ahead of Drogba or Torres. read the bolded part and tell me the relationship btw the two , I just don't get it when people say he works hard for the team yada yada yada and hence his unimpressive goal record, david Villa, Eto'o works just as hard for the team and still emerge highest goal scorers for club and country whoever says you can't run around the pitch like an headless chicken and still bang in the goals consistently. |

A-40: I ain't even a Blue but someone needs to talk to Drogba about his finishing! He is costing me FPL pts. . We know he is good with his back to goal, on the air and what not but he is still very deficient on one on ones we saw that yesterday Every player has a room for improvement, I agree with you on that one, he should work on his one on one's with the keeper and also staying more on his feet and stop being theatrical. |

~Borat~: Stop talking nonsense, benzema was more of a last resort, and you know that Real madrid didn't need to buy any striker, all they had to do was strenghten their shaky defence and get a good/great manager to bring out the best in players like Diarra,Raul,Higuain,Drente,Kaka et al unless you telling me Raul and Ruud(proven WC goal scorers) are not better than Benzema |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: French Ligue 1, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, Dutch Eredivisi And Bundesliga by jalether(m): 7:39pm On Oct 31, 2009 |
chic2pimp: REAL MADRID LEADS TWO GOALS TO NIL. BOTH GOALS SCORED BY HIGUAIN.
FIOERNTINO PEREZ IS AN IDIOT. THE MAN IS A BIG FOOL. WHY DID HE CHOOSE TO SIGN BENZEMA OVER VILLA? Higuian has always been a better player than benzema, pelagrinni should have entrusted the striking role with Higuian and raul, bearing in mind Ruud is also on the bench, wasted resources if you ask me |
