Ptolomeus: To say that no Westerner is better than an African, does not mean that no one is better than anyone. Exactly, I'm saying that all men are equal.
You are ignorant, and besides, I think you are a target having nostalgia for the days of slavery.
Know? Whites like you if they are WORSE than any African, WORSE than any Indian ...
You are the racist.
Ahaa..then we agree. My bad, I misunderstood that line.

How am I ignorant? Why on earth would I have nostalgia for those days?? Where did that come from?
CultureRe: Pagan9ja - I Want To Clarify Something For You by JallowBah(f): 8:10am On Aug 23, 2012
Ptolomeus: You really believe that all Africans are drug trafdicantes abroad?
Excuse me, but you are very wrong.
Possibly your opinion is influenced by the great sense of inferiority that many Africans have ...
What do you do to improve that image?
But I do not blame you me that.
That was exactly my point. You have good and bad in every society.

What I do? I hang with people who DONT do those things. Its not much more I can do, as I am not african.

It seems Shea butter hair grooming is not popular in Nigeria. I wonder why. It's popular in the US. Even for skin, folks are increasing using Shea butter for skin to prevent acne and to soften hair texture, and actually able to comb their hair down. I have been grooming my hair with Shea butter/coconut oil* mix. I also use this mix for my skin.
*coconut oil is different from palm kernel oil
Same here!
I have really sensitive skin, and I tried pure shea butter from the markets in Gambia last year. I did not like the smell at first, but damn..thats the only lotion I have NO reactions to. It took away any scratching, dry skin, f`ed u skin on the feets, it helps with sun-burns, after shaving the legs, etcc, etc. The only place I dont use it, is my face, its to fat for that.
And pure coconut oil is amazing too.

Now I just need to find a perfect shampoo..I used to use Pure Hemp Shampoo, and that is the best I have ever tried. But they dont sell it in Norway anymore..

kandiikane: Damn jallow! Usually, I assume most caucasians who have mixed kids don't bother to learn how to look after the hair but you have proved me wrong.
You learnt well.
I like. smiley
Oh, trust me, I assume the same about most norwegian women here tootongue
Most of them dont do anything with their kids hair. They use products meant for white people, and have their hair "natural", and it becomes damn u-gly, cause they dont use any oil or anything..so yeah, I have the same judgement going on therewink

I use as natural shampoo as I get a hold on, and coconut oil if her hair is out free. I use pure shea butter ( straight from Gambia ) when I braid her, and to make sure her scalp dont get dry.
If you have any more tips, I will be happy to get themsmiley

PAGAN 9JA:
1.you see fellow Nairalanders??!!! angry this a$$ of a woman thinks that we Africans are dying for their support. that we are depending on these thieving rats for their filthy money! stupid arrogance! go away we dont need your ca$h. you can throw your bread at DOGS not us! angry
Are you serious? I you use logix, you would understand that I am talking about my husbands family. They depend on me and him, yes.

2.Bush people are good people but i live in a city and many people like me wrk in the cties! you are basically implying that our culture is fitfor the backward in the villages and the bush and not in the cities and in development! you filth! I AM LIVING IN LONDON AND I HAVE TRIBAL MARKS! AND I AM PROUD! angry
My husband is a bush-man, thats where that comment came from. When I say bush-people are good, does not make city-people bad. Again, logic. And I know you are living in London, acting hypocritical.

3. NO! our culture is our social responsibility! your laws do not apply here! if decreed we will even die for our people. this is a symbol of our unity and a core of our tribal structures when pertaining to some aspects that may be mandatory! angry
we have free-will in many aspects, but we also have certain duties and responsibilites be it in any other area.
dont push your democratic values on us and screw us up. REMEMBER VIETNAM! angry
Look at whats going on in Araic countries to this date as well. I have never said that my system is better in every, single way. BUt democratic over dictator? Any day.

4. you have been trying to egg it on here and in previous threads ad behave victimised, as if you face a situation of tribal marks when it is common knowledge that it isnt meant for your kid OR you. you are not tribal neither is your kid. so stop trying to portary yourself as one associated with such tribal customs.
I got mine as a wedding-gift from his family.
She is half fulani, so she has every right to get tribal marks if she wishes to.

5. dont worry the hate will catch up. it is the sad reality that you people have further forced upon us. i wouldnt be surprised if your daughter becomes the percussor of hate in the future. as they say, it runs in the blood. .
Again, show me where I show any kind of hate. Cause I dont. The only thing I have shown hate towards here,, is FGM. If you support FGM, I feel sorry for your daughters.. And I truly feel ssorry for your kids, who will learn the same hater towards white people as you display here. I may judge people on their looks, but I dont hate.

i hate you for your mentality , ideologies and your assimilation programmes.
And what ideology and mentality is it that you seem to believe I have?
And what assimilation-programs have I put out?

You are, in fact,, blaming me for every single bad thing a white person have done. You hate me because of my skin-colour, nothing more..
You refuse to see logic when I write here, because you hate me being white.

Sorry, ut I will not go down to your level. It truly makes me sad that there are hateful people like you out there.
FamilyRe: Tribal Marks by JallowBah(f): 9:27pm On Aug 22, 2012
PAGAN 9JA:
it evolved from this white animal here who thinks she and her daughter are superior to African customs and tribal marks and that we are bush fellows and how she would like to "kill" us if anyone did that on her half-bred daughter. she thinks we Africans are all begging her to put tribal marks on her child when her child doesnt even deserve it in the first place and it is not meant for her.
1: Show me where I seem to think me and my daughter is superior to african customs?
2: Bush-people are good people, what are you trying on here?
3: Of course, if anyone used knifes or tattoos on my child without me saying yes, I would do my best to get them. As would most of the african people in the thread, still you dont throw sh--it at them?
4: Where do I state or even imply that africans are begging to put marks on my child..?
5: My daughter deserve more good things in life than you, and even me. She has not been damaged by the hate of other people, yet. People like you.

I dont like you, but that is because of your hatred ways, and your way of talking to be only based on the fact I am white.
You hate me and my child, only because of the colour of our skin, nothing more.

Just make sure you dont braid it too tight in front ant start loosing..tongue Wish somebody told me that, I maid that mistake ONE time with my girl. Pfff...

dasparrow: I take offence to people of other racial groups using the term 'nappy' to describe afro or african hair texture. Those black people (including your husband and his friends) who use that term 'nappy' to describe black hair are suffering from steep inferiority complex and get no respect from me. Please never use that term to describe African hair again because other than the 'uncle toms' and 'aunt jemimas' (google those terms to know their significance) who suffer from self hate, no self respecting individual who is of African descent or ancestry will use the term 'nappy' to describe their hair or the hair of fellow Africans. Peace, out!
I already said I was sorry, that should be enough.

I love ladies with braids. But as a man, wetin I sabi? Na to barb low cut.
Ahaaasmiley Thank you.

I love braids in general. After being in Gambia, and seeing only girls/women with braids, and knowing that they laugh at men with braids, I dont see men with braids the same way anymore..lol.

yes i make money form me, my family and my people. this money is around 5 time more than what i pay as taxation. so in the end, it is me and my people who profit from your white governments. the tax money is like what i never had. im still the winner. i sincerely hope more Nigerian and Africans emigrate to the west and take over your countries economically and otherwise, as the Indians, Chinese, etc, do.
Just like when I work. and pay taxes, most of the money go in my pocket. Thats kinda how it works.

And you still dont stand up for your bull-comments towards me.

as i said before, i show no real interest in your useless backside. check your archives. trying to be African since you joined, smh.

and i still make profit so dont use that taxation argument on me. it is very foolish of you after me profound explanations and i would not wish to explain it againt to a deaf wall.
Well, just stating the fact, since you try to fool yourself. You make money in "the white peoples world", so your taxes go for them. Dont need no science to see that one.

And; I dont need to check my archives, I am not the one stating I am trying to act african, thats you. So, when you make statements, get facts to back them up. If not, you are just showing off that you are, in fact, all talk.

As for drinking and driving..I would have taken the keys. He could kill both himself, and others.
RomanceRe: CONFUSED; He Is Coming Back For Me And My Son After 3years. Pls Help by JallowBah(f): 12:29pm On Aug 22, 2012
I agree with MrBrownJay here.
A father should be able to get in touch with his son, but have him visiting at first to get to know the boy. They boy have no idea this is is father, and they need to build a relation before being left alone.

As for the woman, and marriage..dont marry anyone just to get married. Be alone. Do what is best for your heart and soul, and for your boy. He will be happy if his parents are happy, no matter if they are it together or apart. Dont go back to a man that was not good for you unless you SEE the change, and you feel love for him.

Give it time. Both of the things need time.

In every country in the world, except USA and England, they talk their mothertounge and learn that in school, and learn english as well.
I do agree that it is important to keep your original language, but I also feel it is important to learn english, as it is today the only language that millions of people speak on top of their motherlanguage.
