The problem with these riverine people is that they play a lot of ethnic politics and create more problems for every other ethnic groups in Rivers State.

It is perplexing that people who refused in 1996 to be in Bayelsa state as Ijaw people but instead opted to remain in Rivers state as Opobo, Kalabari, Okrika, Ando etc, are now claiming to be Ijaw. Importing people from Bayelsa to be constituting nuisance in Rivers state unnecessarily.

Infact, Bayelsa state is only 8LGAs, they can go and join them there. Boundary adjustment can be carried out so they can join their brothers in Baysalsa and enjoy themselves and allow people rest in Rivers state.

I have no sympathy for his cries because he knew what Wike wanted of him before he accepted to become of Rivers state. He had the option of continuing as a civil servant and letting someone else become the governor.
