CelebritiesNigerian Feminists And Their Narcissism!! by janzguy(op): 1:06pm On Jul 16, 2020
There is indeed no continent in the world that bastardizes and ruins the true essence of things especially ideologies and creeds like the African Nation and Nigeria in particular.

In recent times I have been inundated by this frenzy of feminism brandished by our Nigerian women especially the 'Social Media Constituency', a lot of who don't even understand the concept of feminism and what it entails.

Their own version of feminism is blaming men for everything that is wrong with the female folk. They are only bent on looking at the sides that vilify men and glorify the women.

To them, gender equality is about having equal rights only where it is beneficial and juicy. To them gender equality is about having the same right in the home, in the society or in bussines places but should be accorded the lesser responsibility.

To them, gender equality is about having equal rights in politics or workplace but not equal right in the struggle, pain and stress in attaining that cadre.

Dear feminists should feminism only be about where and when it is yummy and mouthwatering? What about soldiers fighting insurgency, where 90percent of them are male, I have never heard feminists shouting for gender inclusiveness there.

Should we talk about Police officers manning check-points on the highway? Where 98percent of them are also male. I have also not heard feminists clamouring for equality there either. Does that mean only the male officers are good for such tedious jobs?

Where are the feminists and gender equality campaigners when 99.9percent of Bus Drivers, Conductors, PHCN Field Engineers, Heavy Truck Drivers, Aircraft Pilots, Refuse Collectors, Mortuary Attendants and Farmers are male? Or they dont want gender equality there too? Ok! Maybe the men are designed for the dirty jobs.

How is it morally right to you, for a woman to hit a man but disgusting for a man to retaliate?

How can you be a Feminist and you clamour for gender equality yet you still think it's a man's duty and responsibility to ask for your hand in marriage, pay your bride price, and fully fund your elaborate dream wedding.

You want gender equality, but to you any man who takes you out on a date must pay for your meal plus takeaways for your friends. The West didn't tell you women pay for their meals on dates?

Including you married feminists who run to social media to lecture young girls on how to be 'boss-ladies', but in your matrimonial homes your husbands still foots all the bills, while you contribute little to nothing financialy in the home.

You even further make it a point of duty for him to cater for your siblings and immediate family but to you, madam feminist it is a taboo for your husband to ask how much your salary is! As a matter of fact none of his immediate family has ever benefited in any way from you.

Dear feminists you all want to be treated equal with men? Alright no problem but why do you still want to be pampered, spoilt-silly and treated special? Is yours really gender equality or selective equality?

The sad reality however remains that you hardly find hardworking, industrious and made women clamouring for gender equality.

By industrious I don't mean the Instagram slayqueens who live luxurious livestyles with no substantial source of income oh!! I mean the true SlayQueens, the likes of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Folorunsho Alakija, Ibukun Awosika, Amina Mohammed, Bola Shagaya, Daisy Danjuma, Stella Oduah etc, who are industrious and hardworking and have risen to the high echelon of life.

Women who have built their homes and spent years in their marriages, but you madam gender equality can't even be in a relationship for 2 year!!

Sadly feminism in Africa has been bastardised by young women who don't understand the concept of feminism or what gender equality entails!!

Please let's talk feminism and gender equality when women begin to accept more roles and it's accompanied responsibilities!!

Succinct
Though your comments were harsh and too direct and made it seem like you were hating on him, but putting sentiment aside, his response to the client were somewhat rude.

The client knows her audience and demands you write what she wants. It is utmost that you keep your own personal "wisdom" and "understanding" and simply give her what she wants.. If she insists on you including Spotify, then put it there generously.

Yes she did wrong by blocking him, but some of those ranting above, would never take it if their employee challenged their wishes the way he did!!

Besides, you don't go about telling your client how good you are and how everybody speaks good of you. Only egocentric people say that. Let your job speak for you.

please let's call a spade a space!!!

David, I have crossed paths with you in the past four years atleast five times and know you closely to speak a word or two with you.

While many people will view this thread and sympathise with you. I choose to see something deeper and if you would permit, would speak to you.

You are too combative, and for a male too argumentative. These traits will affect you going on in life if you live it unfixed. Being combative, contentious and confortontational only at best generate negative energy and turns relationship sour.

You're in a hurry to get the apex you don't know you destroy things in your path

You keep talking about how good you are and how you're worth this and that and Bla Bla Bla. And I just feel sorry to say this. Your attitude will keep ruining things for you if you don't improve on it

I wish you the best
mehn!!! You took the words right out of my mouth... I don't even know the writer but from the chats I could deduce that he has ego problem.

I understand he was trying to prove the worth of his work but then if he were that good, he wouldn't have been looking for the writing job in the first place.

The writer has his own fair share of ego all over the chats and he was even the first to accuse the client of been "Yahoo" and even asking for the Editor's mail for confirmation, mehn!! that was the height of been rude.

Note: Mr OP in this context is an employee and as an employee you must diligently follow whatever your employer wants to the later!!

I see many people here forming Odogwu and judging what they don't know and forming woke.

The same Jude that no artist under his Label was able to last 3 years...

Is it Waje , Mayd , Cynthia Morgan ? Even Psquare split under him.

So upon all the accusations against jude na just name he wan take defend himself, he is mad. Why did he not react to what May D said or what Peter said. The Bible said affliction will not rise for a second time.

If this recent publicity is God's way of bringing Madrina (Cynthia Morgan) into the limelight after all the suffering there's nothing Jude or you Nairaland trolls or anybody else can do to stop it
And artistes have not left the almighty Mavinshuh Or 5 star music before??

We just need to accept the truth, artistes leaving record labels has become a norm is our entertainment industry!! Times without number the artistes have proven to be the ones at fault because they are always quick to sign a record deal all because they want to live the flashy life so fast without properly looking at what is in the deal.. They think label owners are people who have money to throw around, not realizing it's a business and profit must be made!!!
CelebritiesRe: Cynthia Morgan Lied Against Her Record Label? (Contract) by janzguy: 7:43pm On May 26, 2020

It's obvious jude is a user why would an upcoming artist pay 50% of her production among other things you still had the gut to say the profit should be 50%50 like seriously boy ? If you're not paying for the cost of production as a company then don't bring the 50/50 deal on the table he wanted to kill her career thanks to the creator she's back on her feet and she's currently the no.1 artist trending in Africa without releasing a single yet so jude can go back to where he belong THE STREETS.....He blocked me on Instagram cause I curse am no be small cheesy grin grin
It's obvious you didn't read the post properly.... Read it again and you would see where 50/50 is only necessary if the artiste has financial backing, but 100 percent is the artiste has no financial backing!! ( Mind you, not every artiste looking for a label is broke)...

.

I could smell anger from your write-up.. I suspect you are an artiste or maybe you don't totally understand the working of record label and entertainment in Nigeria and you are judging it from the Western perspectives. Everything the op said might not be totally true but it resonates around the current realities in Nigerian entertainment.

Entertainment is more complex and complicated here in Nigeria. Unlike in the West were radio stations pay you to play your songs, in Nigeria you actually pay radio stations for your songs to be played.

The typical Nigeria artiste sees record deals as a getaway from Poverty. Least we forget record labels are bigger risks than even an average company cos artistes might be a one hit Wonder!! mind you not every talented is bound to stay too long in stardom. Secondly out of 5 artistes in a label only 1 might blow.. What happens to the other 4?? They feed and live under the labels income.

Do you know why record labels always win?? It's because artistes are usually greedy and they don't care about what's in the contract, they only want that instant money the label has. They instantly hop on the big life, ride expensive cars, post fancy pics on social media and intimidate their old friends at the expenses of the label. They want all the big things immediately spend more more than they have generated.

A record label is like a normal company; you don't earn extravagantly at the expenses of the company regardless of whatever contribution you are bringing into the table. The company has to make more profit for you to live that life. Or have you ever seen a company were the workers live larger at the expense of the company? not even the CEO is allowed to do that!!!

PoliticsMazi Nnamdi Kanu Fighting The Biafran Battle The Wrong Way!! by janzguy(op): 5:41am On Apr 27, 2020
I have always been a spectator of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his Indigenous People of Biafra's (IPOB) struggle for  the independence of Biafra, and like every human being would, I also want liberation and independence for my people. But recently I was inundated by comments of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Apostle Johnson Suleman, Pastor E.A Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo calling his followers to desist from attending these churches. This recent outburst and a host of others prompted me into pouring out this sincere outcry.

I have keenly followed the Biafran struggle led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's IPOB and I must confess that even as an Igbo man there seems to be a lot going wrong in his struggle for Biafra's freedom and they seem to be fighting a just cause in a wrong way.

The struggle for independence is a tenacious struggle that requires great determination, collective resolve, zeal, creativity and all hands been on deck. Never in the history of the world has any man single handedly fought and won the independence of any nation. It is a collective struggle with different persons and strategists leading the struggle on different fronts.

Sadly, the Nnamdi Kanu's struggle is making so many errors which are further hindering and depilating the possibility of winning the struggle for independence and further weakening the zeal and agility of well meaning Biafrans who would have lent their voice and skill in the struggle for Biafran independence.

Here are some of the several avoidable mistakes Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are making in the struggle for Biafra;

1. Excessive Hate-filled Messages:- Haven listen to several of his speeches on Biafra Radio and his posts on social media, I must confess that they are usually filled with hate, anger, bigotry and racial remarks. No people get independence by bullying, castigating or insulting others. The struggle for independence is not won from within alone but with external influences too, and compatriots from other side of the divide are highly crucial in winning the struggle for independence. Going about social and broadcast media calling other tribes unprintable names would stall the fight for independence rather than give you victory.

Nelson Mandela of South Africa,  Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana or Patrice Lumumba of Democratic Republic of Congo didn't liberate their countries by insulting their fellow country men. They brought all hands on deck, worked collectively for the greater goal.

You wouldn't get Biafra by insulting the Yoruba man and calling him a coward or by insulting the Hausa man. If they are or were not your friends they are still our friends and we are not in a war zone. Besides, is that how we would survive in Biafra if it eventually becomes a country?? On shattered relations? If Biafra must work then the hate-filled messages must stop. The calling of names must stop. At this point, the enemy of your enemy ought to be friend.

2. No Blueprint On How To Actualise and Sustain The Biafran Struggle:- Sadly till date, the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not outlined or published a document showing clearly his vision and roadmap on how Biafra will operate economically, socially, politically, and otherwise. Instead of building strategic relationships as a leader, he is destroying the existing ones. Educated elites wants to know the blueprints, what the parameters for achieving Biafra are and how Biafra intends to survive both pre and post independence.

The Biafran struggle of this century is different from the struggle of the Ojukwu's era. A lot has changed in the world and people have actually changed too. Without blueprints, discerning minds would obviously see it as a means to swindle people and live a luxurious life at their expense or a sucide mission.

3. Promote the Ideology And not the person:- Ever wondered why a terrorist group or a religious sect is difficult to eradicate? Its because in terrorism or religion the ideology is promoted, propagated, inculcated, taught and instilled not the person or the leader of the group. That's why even after the leader dies, another quickly takes his place.

However, in IPOB's fight for independence they seem to be more concerned and focused on promoting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu more than promoting the Biafran ideologies and creed. Forgetting that a person can't live for too long but the ideologies would leave for years to come. Promoting the ideology would make the ideology impossible to kill.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should focus more on making the ideology popular and not himself. The ideology should be seen as been more paramout than himself. A lot of freedom fighters were in prison or dead, yet their ideologies were effortlessly working and making impacts.

4. Trying To Foist Judaism on IPOB's (Biafrans):- Like I stated earlier in my post, hate speeches are not palatable for a struggle such as this one. Calling out Men of God like Apostle Sulieman, Adeboye and Oyedepo is indeed the height of recklessness as these Men of God have not in any way hindered your struggle. Besides Nigeria been a very religious country, the influence of these men on your struggle could be instrumental to you actualizing it. Castigating them is an obvious sign of religious intolerance and seem like you trying to foist your religion (Judaism) on your followers cos we have never heard you castigate Judaism the way you do to other religions.

The struggle for independence shouldn't be used as an avenue to foist your religious belief on your followers or to castigate other religions.

You can't win both religion war and independence simultaneously, even Kim Jung-Un can't pull that off in North Korea. Therefore, make your religion your personal affair and leave them to theirs (even if they were idol worshipers). It is a struggle for Independence and not for "repentance".

5. IPOB Should Be Building Bridges and Not Burning Them:- This is very simple to discern. At this stage of the struggle Mazi Nnamdi Kanu ought to be building bridges, mending fences, creating relations, image-making and not burning down bridges. Build the bridge of ethnic tolerance and religious tolerance.

6. Deceits:- Stop the deceits about Western Countries been behind IPOB and it's struggle. Ridiculous as this might sound, IPOB and it's sister organization MASSOB do not enjoy the support from the western world. Only blind followers would think otherwise. All those rumbles of having the supports of America's President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Benjamin Neyantulah of Israel are fallacies. Even a blind man knows that western countries throw their support only where it is beneficial to them.

Tell the western world how genuine your struggle is, give them reasons, let them see it's genuineness and sincerity then watch them openly support you.

7. Both MASSOB and IPOB Should Unite:- Finally, Its of utmost importance that Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and IPOB unites if there's going to be an effortless struggle for the independence of Biafra. With the sister movements been at loggerheads the struggle would be an exercise in futility. If they sincerely have the Biafra's struggle at heart then it's necessary that they put their differences aside, work together and actualise  Baifra.

Celebrities10 Simple But Effective Tips On How To Get Any Girl You Want by janzguy(op): 8:38am On Apr 21, 2020
People often think having money is the only way to get any woman, that has been proven beyond reasonable doubts to be false, as even with all your money, fine face or six pacs, a woman could still cheat if she sees a man who catches her fancy. You don't need to be super rich or have six pacs to get any girl in the world neither do you need to be super handsome to get that girl you have been secretly crushing on.

Here are very simple but effectively tips on how to get any girl you want.

Note: Excessive use of this tips could make you successfully become a player.

1. Be Real:-

No faking. No borrowing of clothes, car, phone or blinks to please her. Borrowing things would automatically lead you to borrowing more things to keep trying to impress her. Nobody likes that, not her and not even you.

2. Have Self Confidence:-

Self confidence is one of the most important criteria a man needs to succeed in life and in the mission of getting the woman he wants. Confidence is like an aura, it envelopes the arena you are in. Be confident, cheerful and charismatic around her (don't wear a pale or sad face like someone begging for money or food around her). Every woman hates a man who isn't confident, they perceive such men as weaklings.

However, do not mistake pride for self confidence. You don't have to be proud or boastful to show you are confident.

3. Be Knowledgeable:-

Been knowledgeable isn't saying you should know how to speak volumeneous and grammatical words like Hon. Patrick or begin to twist your tongue trying to speak British English, nor am I saying you should know everything!

This is simple, just know something about most things. Know a little about politics, a little about entertainment, a little about fashion, a little about movies etc. Women fancy men who sound knowledgeable or intelligent. She automatically gets glued when you are chatting or talking to her cos she learns something everytime you talk.

4. Don't Be Readily Available:-

You are always calling her phone six times a day, sending her messages four times a day and always asking when she would visit you or trying to visit her. Nah!!!! too much of that could be a real turn off and would make her despise you even more.

For a start one call a day is perfect. Don't be in a hurry to visit her or ask for a visit till the friendship is defined.

5. Less Compliments:-

You don't have to compliment a woman ten times in a day about her beauty before she gets it. Remember! You are still trying to make her like you, don't make her become irritated by your frequent compliments. Women naturally get irritated by incessant compliments from a toaster. One or two compliments once in a while is enough.

6. Dress Well.

You mustn't dress like Wizkid or Davidoo or wear all Gucci like Hush puppy, but in your own little way dress well, neat and smart often.

7. Always Smell Nice.

Always smell nice!!!! I repeat always smell nice!!! because you don't know when you might bump into the woman you are crushing on. Women love men who smell nice. Wear sweet colognes and have a good breath as often as possible. This doesn't require much expenses it's basic hygiene.

8. Become Unpredictable:-

Don't be like the conventional guy or a "churchy" guy whose next action are easily predicted by even a blind person. Learn to become unpredictable. By been unpredictable am not saying you should become awfully unpredictable and start acting weird or mysterious like an Herbalist, No! But be the kind of guy who she can't really tell his next move.

9. Be Witty But Don't Try To Be "Toooo Funny":-

This is one of the greatest mistakes men often make when trying to get noticed by their crush. Some men in a bid to win a woman's heart would resort to cracking jokes and always wanting to make her smile, that's nice though but been comic isn't for everyone just as comedy isn't for everybody. Trying to be too funny could make you sound really awful.

Crack the little joke you can and don't try to force it. If she's into you, your little jokes will crack her up.

10. When With Her Don't Make Yourself The Center Of The Discussion:-

When you finally get the chance to be with her don't make yourself the center of the discussion. Making yourself the center of the discussion when with her would easily perceive you as been proud and egoistic.

Talk about her and about her dreams, her ambition, her goals and her visions. Talk about life, entertainment and funny moments.

...... After this tips money can then come-in

Although, having a handsome face has it's own perks and everybody thinks it's all rosy and beautiful for you, however it comes with it's own headaches.

Below are list of things fine guys go through everyday just for been handsome.

1. First of all, the life of a fine boy is a sad and lonely one:-

It's harder for you to find love than the average regular looking guy.

(some girls... they just tell you straight to your face that dating a fine boy is stress to them... Like I don't understand .... just for show off - "my boo is cute" finish but can't date him).

Fine boys are friendzoned more than any other human being on the face of the earth

2. Women generally don't take you seriously:-

No matter how romantic you try to be or how sincere your feelings towards them are. They assume you want to play with them or trying to toy with their feelings.

You'll be sitting there single, sad and lonely with your "fineboyness" looking at all those ugly guys happily in relationships.

3. To women of the world, You're a play boy:-

Don't even try to fight it. All fine boys are players. You tell a girl you love her and she goes like:

"Awww how many girls have you told that today?"

Relationships are not for you. You're better as a chop and clean mouth side booty nigga.

4. When you finally manage to find a girlfriend that takes you serious, she doesn't ever seem to trust you:-

She stalks you on facebook and instagram all day. The moment you drop your phone, she's scrolling through your call log

your WhatsApp and checking your DMs. She's constantly looking for incriminating evidence to indict you with; and even when she doesn't find one,she still says you are a player ...now to her you are king of destroying evidence

5. You always have girlfriends you have never met or don't remember asking out:-

Sometimes, you don't even know these women .but nobody believes you have nothing with them because you are a fine boy, you are a terrible liar.

6.People never believe you when you tell them you are broke:-

They will be like,, "why you go say you no get money na? As you fine like this".... As if recession is afraid of fine face......I'm not saying I'm fine o....I'm talking about someone experience ......lol

7. People tend to think you are lazy:-

People generally have this perception that handsome guys are lazy and not as hardworking as the "not too handsome guys".

8. You are thought to be proud:-

Even those who have not met you, would assume you are proud and full of yourself. Unlike the average guy, a handsome guy is often time accused to  be as proud as a peacock. They are always quick to say; "I think that guy is proud, see the way he is carrying himself". Which has been proven severally to be a false notion.

If you talk, they will accuse you of talking too much. If you are quite, they will call you a snub.

Creative people all over the world use art as a form of expression.

They represent their imaginations, lyrics and words in ways that are sometimes pleasing, captivating and appealing to a lay man.

Love it or hate it, social media has become the platform where people show off to the world what they are up to personally and career-wise.

Some talented individuals have made a name for themselves with their skill through social media.

On the other hand, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) is no doubt a varsity that can boast of talented individuals and social media has in great measures helped to publicise their skills. Gone are the days when talented individuals were not adequately recognised. These days social media gives them the desired publicity they need.

Anyone following the trends in the music industry in Nigeria and especially the social media sphere in Nasarawa State can readily give an answer to the question of a guy called Fresh Newbrid who is setting social media on fire with his rap skits.

But who is Fresh Newbrid? He is a young rapper who has taken the music industry by storm.

His full names are Samson Israel Ayomide. One very fascinating thing about him is his unique sound and genre of rap music, which is quite the opposite of the conventional raps.

Recently, Divinelove Udorji spoke to this multi-talented young graduate of Theater Arts Department in Nasarawa State University where he made some revelations.

For Fresh Newbrid, who hails from Ondo State, the journey to music started in 2014 with his group "The Newbrid". Since then, he has not looked back, as he continues to steadily grow his music career. As a matter of fact his love for music drove him to study Theater Arts.

Though still a significant member of his music group, he revealed that his solo songs are geared towards representing his group's good music.

In a little while he has been able to create a unique following and fan base for his kind of rap.

This young chap blazes the trail in the music industry by dropping sensational short music tracks being accompanied by short videos.

He further revealed that he draws his musical inspirations from situations around his society.

Last year he contested and won the Fidelity Bank Challenge in 2018. Going home and carting away with half a million naira.

Fresh Newbrid is growing by the day and he is surely going places.

Celebrities7 Kind Of People You Should Never Date!!!! by janzguy(op): 12:34pm On Nov 18, 2018
1. Never Date a Person who nags (You two would rarely have peace).

2. Never date a person who hardly forgives or holds grudges for long (Pleasing them would be difficult).

3. Never date a person who is always fond of making references to past "negative" events. (You would end up depressed)

4. Never date a person who is dating someone else. (You would die from comparison).

5. Never date a person who often compares or equates you with another person.

6. Never date a person who doesn't bring out the best in you.

7. Never date a person who doesn't believe in your dreams or motivates you.
