You didn't state your budget, your long term plan, your short term plan, your overall travel goal.

They could give it a shot, you never can tell until you try.

Two major reasons/factors.
1. Travel history.
2. Home ties/Convincing the visa officer that you are going to return to Nigeria after your study.

These two factors are hard to beat for the average Nigerian but they, however, aren't looked out for in UK.
The UK doesn't care if your passport is virgin and they don't care if you're going to return to Nigeria. Infact they'll give you a chance to apply for 2 years post study visa to stay back in the UK.

This is where a strong personal statement counts, you must be able establish your purpose and clarify in writing. Don't joke with your statement of purpose! Send a mail if you need a well-tailored personal statement.

This depends on your lifestyle, choice and reason for travelling.

For some, South Africa may be better, for others , it may be Germany or Poland. The most important factor is your travel goal.

You should also consider applying for jobs in Kenya using your newly acquired certification to give you a soft landing.
