Travel › Re: 5 Ways To Overcome Flight Turbulence Anxiety by Jarus(m): 1:52pm On Jun 02, 2017 |
Opinionated: The frustrating thing about flight turbulence is how suddenly they occur, completely without warning. Thankfully, there are ways to overcome the anxiety that comes when these sudden flight turbulence hits. Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency, shares 5 ways to overcome the anxiety that comes with flight turbulence.
Increase Your Pool of Knowledge
Fear is intensified when the object of your fear remains a mystery. Therefore, it’s important you avoid ‘what if?’ thoughts by reading up on flight turbulence, its causes, potential dangers and the likely risks associated with it. Know all you can about planes and how they are designed to handle turbulence. When you understand the phenomenon, it’ll be much easier to manage and overcome. This is very important. Ever since I read that chance of turbulence leading to crash is less than 2%, I stopped panicking when there is one. I read that the only (?) time turbulence led to crash was when a pilot made a mistake in a corrective measure while trying to manage the turbulence (can't remember the exact detail again). Meanwhile, the worst turbulence I ever experienced was in January 2013 in a Doha-Lagos flight (Qatar Airways), with the plane vigorously shaking for almost 2 hours. |

No, walking is one of the best forms of exercise (better than a more rigorous jogging). |

dotcomnamename: I am sick and tired of Arsenal signing young strikers who are either to go on loan or play for the unders. Where is Asano Takuma that we bought last season, he hasn't played in the league at all, he was sent on loan, now Henry.
We have Akpom and there is an upcoming striker in the under 23's that I have watched his game and he seems like a very good and prolific striker too although I can't remember his name. But the question is, are all these players going to challenge Giroud or even displace him,.
Are they going to single handedly win matches for us, did they have enough experience to cope in the league and possibly Europa? Are they match winners? Are they combative enough?.... I am happy we signed Henry Onyekuru because I have checked his profile and YouTube videos but what we need is not upcoming talents, we need ESTABLISHED strikers, tested and trusted Strikers that can singlehandedly win matches for us, that can take us places not average players. We are a big team not teams like Crystal Palace, Bournemouth or other small teams. This is Arsenal's biggest problem since the exit of Veira in particular, and later Henry. |

Health › Re: 2m Nigerians Living With Hepatitis’ by Jarus(m): 7:11am On May 27, 2017 |
Two or twenty?
He must have been misquoted.
The official stat is, one out of eery 10 Nigerians is infected.
The worse thing is, more than half don't know.
People are dropping dead of hepatitis-induced liver diseases everyday.
In fact, more than half of under-50 deaths I know in the last 5 years were caused by liver disease, which was also caused by hepatitis. As recently as 2 days ago, heard of another hepatitis/liver death.
Hepatitis is prevalent because it spreads easily, from things as insignificant as sweat or sharing clothes. And the virus can stay on external surface for days, unlike HIV. |

This is very true.
They are still seriously troubling me at home for not throwing event to celebrate my 2016 hajj (pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia).
I just traveled casually (didn't even plan it until 4 weeks to date). I have not been to my hometown since I came back (September 2016) and my mum has been on my neck that whenever I come to our hometown, they will organize "ceremony" for the new Alhaji. Whenever I travel home, I can't escape it. |

ATS is in 3 stages. After passing the three stages, you move on to professional stage 92 or 3 stages, don't know what obtains now), and after that you become a chartered accountant. I suggest you open a thread asking for details on NL career section or on HotProForum here ( http://www.hotproforum.com/forum8.html?sid=44b1f0b046d1524ec54e5de75832c532).
