Tell me how many things were made by under-18.
How many under-18 could make political choices? Say, make informed decision between Buhari and Jonathan to be allowed to vote?
How many under-18 can manage emergency situation to be certified good enough for driver's licence?
18 was just adopted by many societies as estimated age of majority when you could make certain independent decisions. Age of accountability.
Not perfect, but definitely not a bad estimate from realities. |

DieBuhari: OK. I was thinking of a higher number of candidates using you. Well, we will get to that stage when more and more Nigerians realize the value ofthis service (as it is done in advanced countries), not asking for free service as we do in Nigeria. Even graduates of Stanford, Harvard etc get interview coach. Check out the caliber of people that engage Victor Cheng for McKinsey etc interview prep. |

DieBuhari: No, I am assuming that 90% of the candidates who use you should be more than the number of people required or something close to it. Still a wrong assumption. Have you thought of this being: KPMG: 10 candidates contacted us at different times between 2014 (when this service started) and 2017. 5 different recruitment cycles with 2 candidates using us in each, and 9 (i.e 90pct) got the job. What's not possible in 2 candidates making it out of about 30 KPMG recruit for a recruitment cycle? Too complicated for your understanding? |

DieBuhari: I am in support of this your response to that guy, well put. However, your claim of 90% success rate can never be true. Not when the companies have a set limit for the number of candidates they want to recruit. You are assuming that every candidate invited used us. Not even possible that even 10 percent of invited candidates came to us for coaching. |

Zantaclaz: Honestly I understand that you're trying to run your business; however, you should also bear it in mind that your target market comprises mainly jobless graduates who have no source of income. To this note, I urge that you assist them the little way you can without requesting monetary compensation from them. Thanks Unfortunately, our staff will not accept free service, they will demand salary at the end of the month. NEPA will not give us light to run the mock AC for free. Filling stations will not give us free fuel to power the venue of the mock AC. The assessors will not get free ride to our office for the mock AC. And we have free resources on our website, jarushub.com, on interview and AC preparation. But this extra mile of putting the candidates in our office and stopping our every other activity to coach them could never have come for free. It is never free in the UK, never free in the US, and other places this service is done, why do you want our own to be free? Why would the core of anyone's business be free? Does a barbing salon give free haircut? Will they get free transport to their AC venue because they are unemployed? |

felictorx: This is a friendly advice especially for post graduates applicants. I have warned you enough. OAU will delay your destiny and brag ontop of that. I can only pity the undergraduates stocked there! A word is enough for the wise! I spent 5 years in Ife for a 4 year course. It has earlier delayed my entrance by almost a year due to streamlining of calendar. So, while folks we wrote 2000 UME together graduated in other universities in 2004, I graduated in 2006. Guess what? If I had another opportunity, I will still choose Ife for my undergraduate studies. What I learned from that campus more than compensated. I have no regrets. |
