MChaze25: Am also doing thanks giving for that amount. Do you know why? Its because i make more than those oil workers in a month once business goes fine. If it doesn't go fine any month, i take my 50k salary or 90k and thank my God for giving me brains and grace. Combine business and salary effectively and see the difference between you and that lazy oil worker So oil workers don't do business? |

So transition was terrible, how And while nigeria's bicameral system of legislature is unhelpful, "part-time" legislature makes absolutely no sense, and has no meaning. That u are a legislator doesnt stop u from being a farmer.
So sir Utomi, u have said absolutely nothing. Thanks It is called diplomacy. Utomi did a good job in diplomatic communication. |

Total hiting no.1 on that list is unjustifiable....... NNPC is a government company. Not among Top 15 highest paying oil companies in Nigeria. I have friends that rejected NNPC offer for Oando. |

kenex4ever: the list is very correct but for schlumberger, I don't know much . schlum is an oil servicing comp so it should b on Dsame level with Harlibuton and bakerhughes. these 3 are lower than d other four oil producing comps. Shell is d richest and u have more job security in shell but they don't throw money around like Mobil n Total Exactly, Shell doesn't throw money around any how. So much so that Seplat, an indigenous, throw money around more than Shell now. Schlum has no place in Top 7. Servicing don't pay much like E&P. |

ashiwajew: RIP to the dead...I know Tosin Adefolarin right from his very child hood...a very gentle and cool headed boy. He is always either with his bible, reading his books or going to a closeby church for weekly services. Tosin was my landlady's grandson and the news of his death on tuesday threw the entire street to shock. The last time he came home from school, he came around midnight that everyone in his flat had slept that he had to pass the night in our apartment and left for ilorin again the next day. I remember giving him the book 'road to victoria island' to read and make sure he comes out with a first class. Tosin...God knows best. I will forever remember you...RIP So sad. My condolences. From the author of the book you gave him. |

As President, you're entitled to body guards, officially provided, befitting of a President.
The security details cannot be the same as those used as a non-president. More professional, better trained specailly for that purpose will replace you. It's no brainer.
That said, it doesn't mean they should be totally discarded and neglected. |

By the way, I have always heard that Kanu is idolized in Brazil. Someone said he entered a hotel in Brazil about 5 years ago and when he introduced himself as a Nigerian, everyone started admiring him as Kanu's countryman and asking about Kanu. |
Sports › Re: Brazilian Wearing "KANU" Nigerian Jersey At RIO Olympics by Jarus(m): 9:40am On Aug 12, 2016 |
Galacious1: Three reasons why I still loved Kanu after Olympic '96;
* He knew how to fall in the penalty box.
* He knew how to entertain fans, esp when the Eagles were leading with 2 goals or more.
* His unbelievable angle strike during Arsenal's 49 unbeaten run.
I'm surprised this thread is yet to reach fp. Gbam for #1 and #2. At the peak of his career in 2005-2008, I can' count the number of penalties he got for Eagles even with sub appearances. I remember a match (a qualifier) I was screaming that the coach should pls introduce Kanu if only to get us a penalty. As for his entertainment value, gbam again. I like him. His touches are entertaining. He knows when to play seriously and when to entertain. The third point for me is his personality. He has this mature, likeable personality. That was why I was surprised to see him slap a Nigerien or Namibian player in a match I can't remember in 2008. |

I don't know PT for playing to the gallery, but for thorough investigation, so I believe this story.
For those that aided PDP, I agree they deserved to be punished, if found not to act under duress.
This is needed to return army to professionalism.
The problem is those retired for "not aiding APC enough".
That is cleaning a mess and creating another mess. Not good at all. |

If a Muslim tries to associate openly with his religion, goes to mosque etc, he is a fanatic. Differen tstandard. Issokay. And to think even here, the guy listed all Muslims in top government position and declared all of them as Jihadists in one fell swoop. So none is just a Muslim (that is not a jihadist). I remember my then company's end of year party in 2009. We paid for Banky W. He came with one small boy we were wondering who he was.
By 2013 end of year party, the small boy had become a superstar that the company paid for the 2 of them separately and Wizkid as the big masquerade played last. And his bill higher than that of the boss he accompanied to the 2009 event. |

When the bush in my area (a newly developing site) was bulldozed last year, 5 of them were killed. The people here call it Bush Dog.
I was told by one of the security guys in my area last month that he saw one that entered my compound in the midnight around 2am to scavenge. He saw it while smoking his own weed (in front of the uncompleted building he is guarding). He said he's still looking our for it and will kill it one night. |
