I posted the below information on nairaland but no one has shown any interest. It's hard to believe no one needs this. Please, if you can, circulate this among your many mentees that are qualified. There're no guarantees but I'm happy to work with them.
Thanks

Science/Technology › Re: Python Swallows Two Goats In Lagos (Photos) by Jarus(m): 3:57pm On Sep 16, 2016 |
Mascotlawman: This happened in my friend's street. I saw it with my eyes. A python came out from a canal near a woman's house and entered her goat house, swallowed one pregnant and one male goat. The woman came out in the morning to feed her goats, when she was about to enter the goat house she now saw a big python on the floor. The python could not move again. The woman ran with her both legs shouting. All the people in the neighborhood came out. This happened in Bucknor Okoye street in Jakande Lagos. I pity those that always buy land in swampy areas, all in the name of answering a landlord or landlady. To tell u the truth, if those goat were to be little kids sleeping, the python would have swallowed them as well. Here are the pictures. Since I have been reading stories of these big snakes on Nairaland in the last one year, I have been fearful (and extra cautious) as a resident of an area close to swamps. |

Chinaimporter: I.had high hopes that this man will change things in the north. He was clearly a humanist from his earlier writeup i read online but i cant express my shock when he betrayed everything a freethinking humanist stood for and except always vocally aknowledging the great northern radical scholar prof.bala usman. sanusi has been a betrayal of thomas paine, voltaire, tai solarin etc but i have not lost hope yet and i sincerly hope he improves unless reason will die in northern nigeria.
That someone quotes Thomas Paine, Voltaire etc in his essays doesn't make one a "humanist" - whatever that means. He is a Muslim and a Fulani. Anyone can take from the works of philosophers to buttress a point, doesn't make the person a wholesale follower. If you expect him to drop his religion and tradition for Thoman Paine et al's "tradition", you're on a long thing. |

Are we operating a Sultanate Republic of Nigeria?
Pls someone help! Use your education. Don't let your hatred for a people blindfold your reading skills. He didn't declare public holiday. He only announced date for eid (Muslim festival) as the leader of Muslims in Nigeria. |
