I never insulted anyone regarding this, I asked because knowing who sponsored the bill will better equip one to understand the trajectory of the bill.

You rightly asked, is this bill in our best collective interest?

The telecom sector that is praised as doing well and not affected much by the economic downturn is now targeted by this bill, have they thought out the consequences?

It's little relief knowing the bill is a PDP product.
The other part of my post wasn't directed at you, actually. I onnly answered your question and used same post for the comment I came to make.

Thanks for the civility.

Who sponsored this bill sef?
A member of the HOR, Honourable Bede Eke Uchenna from Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, Imo State.

I think we need to be a little more enlightened in public discourses. Government is a continuum and not everything is about party or the President.

This bill is sponsored by by a PDP Rep after all.

The question should be, is it good or not?, not insulting personalities.
FamilySafety Tips For Households On Fire Incidents by Jarus(op): 7:55am On Aug 25, 2016
2 students die as fire razes their house - News. (Source: https://www.nairaland.com/3308540/2-imo-polytechnic-students-die)

I have written on this subject many times and will continue to do anytime I read this kind of news.

1, Ensure your house has 2 exits (preferably at different directions of the house)

2, Get a fire extinguisher on standby; know how to operate it and teach others.

3, Install a smoke detector in your house.

4, Cultivate the habit of going round your house to check electrical appliances and fittings and ensure non-essential ones are switched off before going to bed.

5, Use professional electricians to fix your electrical fittings. This is not where to apply DIY.

6, Never let any electrician "manage" for you. Fix any issue once and for all.

7, Avoid candle like plague.

8, Discontinue use of any appliance that has electrical fault (eg gas cooker), rather than trying to fix yourself before professional repairer comes.

9, Avoid storing petrol. Never keep fuel in the house. Keep at safe distance in the compound if you must store.

10, Get for every room a metal cutter that can be used to cut that burglary proof in case of emergency.
CareerRe: Working From Home Or From The Office, which do you prefer? by Jarus(m): 7:15am On Aug 25, 2016
Depends. Some work are best enjoyed at home, some in the office. What I want is flexibility - to be able to choose when and what to do work at home and when to go to the office.

CareerRe: 3 Jobs You Should Never Make Careers by Jarus(m): 7:15am On Aug 23, 2016
Principe:
A job is something one does in earn gain or gain experience.A career is a long term pursuit of life long ambition. From these definitions is it safe to say that job is a sprint while career is a marathon.

Let us look us look at some of the jobs one should not take for a career. My criteria for choosing these jobs are:

-Job security
-Career growth
-Ability to transfer the skills acquired on these jobs to other sectors.

(1) BANKING:Years ago this profession would not have made this list, sadly things have changed.

Most bankers in Nigeria are contract staff, there is no promotion for a contract staff in the banking sector no matter how hard you work or dedicated you are to your job, even the core staff get promoted after 4/5 year at one level.Secondly, you can be asked to go anytime so any day you log in you work for that day bearing in mind that your sign on can be disabled anytime.

Ever wondered why most bankers move from one bank to the other?well apart from the myth of getting promotion faster,an average banker does not have special skills(especially technical skills)which could be transferred to other sectors.

Lastly,in banking the higher you climb(for the core staff) the less relevant you become. This is why most banks fire mid management staff and recruit someone younger and less expensive.

(2) TEACHING(PRIVATE SCHOOLS):This is a job one could do immediately after NYSC to keep 'body and soul' together.Salaries of some private schools are lower than the NYSC allowee. Some may argue that some private schools pay good salary. That is true, but they are few and far between.

Some schools do not have corporate structure let alone employment letter. The proprietor may even sack you verbally undecidedOne can also 'resign' by telling the owner through phone.

CUSTOMER CARE(NETWORK PROVIDERS).Tales of how these customer care staff are treated by their employers abound, they are poorly paid. There is also an unconfirmed story I heard that the health implications of answering calls regularly are enormous.

Disclaimer: This piece was not written to discourage people that are doing the aforementioned jobs nor those who intend to start. However,if you want to quit it is better you have another job before quitting.
Actually the three are the largest absorber of formal Labour.

EducationRe: What's The Toughest Course You Did/you Are Doing In School? by Jarus(m): 6:47am On Aug 22, 2016
PSY 204 - A psychology course I borrowed in 200L. Everything there was abstract and sounded Greek.

I just couldn't understand it. To make matters worse, the exam was going to be fill-in-the-gap, so I had no option than to cram. Cramming made it more difficult. No note, we were just given like a 50 page material.

That semester, it was this course and other courses. I spent more thxn half of my entire study time that semester on that course. I was slways sweating, sometimes almost crying, having head ache, anytime I read that course.

I ended up scoring 67B.

Some crimes you read about about, and it requires one to say a silent prayer to God that he has been protecting his own. And then they took the Kids?as what?trophies? this is exactly why i will always support Jungle Justice for criminals.

They are just too heartless.
Honestly. As I read this, I remember calling the bluff of a former co-tenant/neighbour.

Any cruel person could have done this. And no one knows who is this cruel.

CelebritiesRe: Celebrity-Bullying: Can We Use A Little Compassion? by Jarus(m): 6:00pm On Aug 14, 2016
When you're a public figure, you're in the spotlight and what comes with it is people saying all sorts of things.

It doesn't matter whether you're a celebrity or a politician, people will scrutinize you. It comes with the status. Don't be surprised some of them actually enjoy the controversies and scrutiny.

So can we have Politician compassion too?

2, Seplat/Neconde

Pay
1, Seplat
